Ordered through zapp dellivery chicken breasts , they had a really bad smell and I wasted 4 chicken breasts in total because the smell was a clear sign to not eat it:(

11th March 12 noon. 1 Person serving real slow 1 Person Sitting Down 1 Person at Till. I Waited 5 Minutes in a 3 customer line then worked out.
There’s a lack of willingness to work in this Place -AWFULL-
Anyway I’m now going somewhere else as there are lot of choice in Tooling.
Carry on with your arrogance and see how you go!!!

I ordered 5 kg of this mixed mutton. To my surprise I found it had big bones with 70% of bones and 30% of meat hanging on. It was perfect for making bone soup and definitely not other mutton dishes. When contacted customer service they told they checked with their team and they have met their standards. The level of meat was as per their standards. They r deceivers. I paid £55 for these bones. Beware don’t buy this from here

Ordered so much food that has been wasted, because they have sent the food with the expiry dates cut off, or a sticker stuck over the expiry date, like they are trying to hide something. They also freeze food which you would expect to be fresh, like steaks. They don't advise that anything is frozen, so by the time it is delivered it is defrosted, meaning it has to be consumed that day. I got really ill from eating food which was defrosted and then frozen again (wasn't advised it was frozen, so was under the impression it was fresh when delivered). I emailed the company to be told that some of the order was sent frozen and some fresh. Nothing was labeled to say it had been frozen. They are taking away from the customer the option to freeze themselves. The customer service is crap, a fair bit of money has been wasted, should have spent my money elsewhere.
I would definitely avoid this company.

I went into the shop few weeks ago and I see the 3 guys working behind the counter taking the Mickey out of a lady customer she could see that they were and they still carried on she was red the face as far as I'm concerned this is bullying behaviou!
Also and more to the point since tarik halal meat range is in the supermarkets there stores that were their bread and butter that build a reputation this company has gone completely downhill I ordered some chicken via deliveroo because I couldn't make the shop it turned up OLD DISGUSTING AND SMELLY some bits were YELLOW and some bits were GREY I called them to complain and then they said I have to take the chicken back to the shop so I said I could not and just ordered some more via del8veroo and told them Please send fresh chicken breast but what they sent was one GONE OFF CHICKEN breast grey and yellow in color with one semi-fresh chicken breast over the top thinking that I would not realize this absolutely gutted about this because it was my favorite halal meat shop in Crawley as you can see from my previous review about these after seeing the BULLYING BEHAVIOUR and the ROTTEN MEAT sent the third time I am regrettably saying I will never go back into this shop and we'll tell everybody I meet to stay away from there I am definitely not sending my nana back in there and we'll stop my family from Red Hill Worthing and Crawley for shopping here!

I'm very honest on these reviews, as u can see,This Tariq meat shop is the CLEANIST halal buthers in the whole of Crawley and the surrounding area, The meat from here is FRESH every time , NEVER once had a problem,I buy Chicken breast And mutton Mince, Also buy things from the freezers and their fiidge never ever had a problem, also the staff are very polite and on point,Some of the best service in Crawley, I've seen thses gentleman serving other customers and and it perfect customer service, would be happy to send my nana here ,see some one on reviews is complaining bec it was busy and they had to wait, but that just life some one In front of u in the queue u have to wait , no? Just go in Taj and the smell from there meat is Disgusting, there using insent sticks to mask the smells, then you know how nice it is here, also when I need to order some thing and there a problem thay have qlwasy sort it out, Long may they say here in Crawley as they our family buchers now.

Avoid them if possible.
I am shocked a big business like Tariq Halal Meat is getting away with such unhelpful management and misleading weights and prices.
I placed and online order on 19/01 with notes how I want my meat to be cut, which seemed a straightforward but received completely different weight for the price they charged and my order notes were not followed, they claimed notes were missing.
After calling 6 times only one time call was answered and asked me share pictures and then never answered my calls.

But for me most annoying part is if you are charging a double the amount for online meat then atleast provide the exact amount don’t rip people off.
For example. Online Lamb shoulder is minimum 1.8kg £39.99 and I received 1.3kg, 500 grams less.

Overall felt cheated, and misled.

I have been using the Tariq Halal meat shop at Northolt Road for the past 3 years. I have always been dealt with by Javed and recently by Ahsan I could not have asked for a better customer service I was always greeted politely and with respect. I always get fresh meat and if there is something i do not like Javed is willing to address any situation arises with respect. i do not think I could go any where else to buy my meat.

I went to their Shop in Southall (Broadway) with my English friend whose roots are from South Asia (Close to Nepal). The butcher behind the counter , instead of following the protocol to serve customer and keeping the conversations low. Suddenly assume that my friend was Chinese and I am Indian. He first asked me that why am I with a Chinese man, and then asked me that why Indians do not like people from Pakistan. It was so awful experience. I wish he could simply stick to the conversation like -

1. What would you like ?
2. This is much it would cost - Cash or Card.
3. Here is your receipt and Have a lovely day.

I am going to post my reviews on other websites with the receipt too. YOU REALLY NEED TO TEACH YOUR BUTCHERS THE ENGLISH WAY OF SERVING CUSTOMRES.

When I chose to buy expensive cuts of mutton (without bone), butcher was sceptical about me if I could afford that or not.

i buy their minced lamb via sainsbury. i have to say it tastes and smells funny i wonder if it is genuine lamb meat. i now buy from local halal shop have to say tastes and smell and looks much better.

Chicken , and other meat okay but I have very bad experiences to buy frozen food from Tariq Halal Shop.
I bought Potato Cutlets and get long white hair in it I took picture for proof.

I ordered meat via deliveroo. When it arrived it was well packaged but the was a slight scent to it I didn't recognise but thought it was the packaging. I rinsed and cooked it for a stew hoping the smell was due to the packaging and would disappear. It didn't. This morning that smell was still in the kitchen with a much stronger chemical tint to it. Having read other reviews I'm not going to waste my time chasing after them. I will bin the meat and buy elsewhere from now on. Very disappointed.

I ordered mixed goat meat on line. it was basically bones and fat, hardly any meat. if you put a bad review on their web site, they don't publish. wont buy from them again

This the the worst ever faced customer service. I ordered whole sheep which I should get 14 kg, they said after taking fat I should get 11.5 to 12 kg. But I received 9.7kg with lot of fat. I called them over 10 times for 2 weeks almost. They always says the manager will call back but never … don’t ever order the whole or any meat with them, they send you less quantity ( they thinks who is going to weight) and they don’t respond if you call or they don’t care you

Very disappointing service. Firstly brought prepackaged meat from the Covent Garden store to find they had changed the expiration date. Gave the benefit of the doubt and ordered via Deliveroo when they failed to fill the order but still charged full price.
Stay away from Tariq Halal Meats as they are not customer focused and dishonest.

Just went in today to pick up Tandoori chicken! The staff member at the till on woodgrange road branch refused to serve me after waiting in the shop because he has a delivery that showed up all of sudden! This shop should be closed if you cannot serve customers? The staff does not know how to put customers first! How rude and unprofessional! Please train your staff!

Poor quality. Wrong cuts and generally waste of money. Awful delivery practices. Just left the meat outside without knocking. If I wouldn't discover it it would go off. Ribeye is cut think paper. Is that from Halal school?

I bought a whole goat from this shop in Wembley. I made few calls before hands. They were very polite and called me back to confirm that they had what i was looking for. When I got to the shop, The guy behind the counter was very polite. I got a frozen 6kg kid goat, just the right size for my rotisserie. Very happy!

So I ordered half baby lamb as usual and received some packets of sheep or another aged lamb and not all from 1 baby lamb.

I didn't ask for refund etc but just emailed tariq halal so they are aware and to ensure its not repeated going forward. But their customers service simply washed their hands away saying it was all from the same lamb which is untrue and this really put me off.

I have used tariq halal for the past few years and really like them but after this incident I have decided to go elsewhere and will never be back. I think there business is growing so they don't even care about their customers now.

I don't recommend Tariq halal meats.
