Brilliant race organiser, I have attended a number of their events by the grimsby 10k and the fun run are by far the best ones.

Ran every Grimsby 10k its kit only a big running event but so positive to the local town with the people traveling

Tape to Tape's Grimsby 10k is a great race with the best support. I always enjoy this event as it is well organised and always has a positive atmosphere (and I also got a PB!)

The atmosphere was amazing and the supporters were awesome too! It's only a few minutes drive into Cleethorpes afterwards for fish and chips - bonus!

Having just completed my second Grimsby 10K, I felt compelled to share my thoughts on what has become one of my favourite events on the running calendar.

Having participated in a number of races over the years, I can honestly say that the Grimsby 10K ranks among the very best when it comes to organisation and communication. From the moment you sign up until you cross the finish line, the flow of information is excellent. Regular updates keep runners informed, motivated, and excited about the event, creating a real sense of anticipation in the weeks leading up to race day.

I can only imagine the sheer scale of planning and coordination required to organise an event of this size. Yet the team behind the Grimsby 10K make everything appear effortless. I'm sure that behind the scenes there are countless challenges, stressful moments, and last-minute issues to overcome, but none of that is visible to participants. What runners experience is a professionally run event that feels welcoming, safe, and enjoyable from start to finish.

A huge shout-out must also go to the volunteers who generously give up their time to support the event. Their enthusiasm, encouragement, and hard work contribute enormously to the atmosphere on the day. Whether directing runners, handing out water, or cheering from the sidelines, they help make the experience special for everyone involved.

And on both occasions I've run the race, they seem to have managed to organise the weather as well! Whether that's good planning or pure luck, I'll leave others to decide.

Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved in making the Grimsby 10K such a fantastic event. It is a credit to the organisers, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who come together to make it happen. I am already looking forward to returning next year. Runner #481

Great atmosphere!!
The meet point by the town hall was a great space to meet. Good music being played, there could have been a few more toilets, but the queues did move.
There were lots of crowds supporting around the course which was amazing. And the live music on route really kept you going!!
The event village at the end of the race was a great space to meet up with family and friends.
We arrived early and had no problems parking which was a relief, not sure how difficult it was a bit later.
I would recommend this race to anyone who was a serious or fun runner, I would definitely do it again!!

the Grimsby 10K was a delight. Lovely atmosphere at the beginning, around the course and the finish. They are runners and know how to put on an event, with great signage and pacers as well as visible marhsals around the course. They stay true to themselves and take pride in putting on superb events. Already signed up for next year

Tape to tape is the best at organising your race day experience, very professional everything run to clockwork and the facilities are amazing just how race day should be, definitely will will book a race again in fact me and my wife have already booked again for next year as we both thought I was a well run event very professional and most of all very well organised. Big thumbs up for us 👍

I have run this race since its inception in 2016 and the experience just keeps getting better. Well done to Nicola and Neil who work tirelessly to make the Great Grimsby 10k a fabulous race day for all. I completed this years under the number 1036.

Absolutely brilliant event my first Grimsby 10k but second event with tape2tape and as usual they’ve knocked it out the park again brilliant atmosphere loads of stewards to keep the runners and spectators safe very well organised from the team and will definitely be involved with future events great work tap2tape 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me

My first time doing a 10k race. It was really well organised, lots of volunteers which was really helpful. There were hydration stations throughout the course and at the end.
My kids did the fun run which was on around the same time as the 10k and they really enjoyed that. They got their own medals and donut when they finished so they felt involved which was great. At the end there were coffee vans, ice cream vans and other pop up stations so there was no rush to leave after the race had ended.

The Grimsby 10k is such a well-organised, family friendly event. All information is shared in a timely manner prior to the run and the organisation on the day is faultless. The organisers and volunteers make this event one to remember every single year. Thank you for all of your hard work to organise such a fabulous and feel-good event for thousands of participants. The Great Grimsby 10k is simply Great .
The experience from start to finish is fantastic, the volunteers,the route is great,
the support and the finish in the park is amazing. Fantastic support every year.
Plenty of information via emails from start to finish
One small critique , change the supplier for the finishers tee-shirts , designs great , sizes poor!

I have been running in the Grimsby 10k for 9 years and it never fails to amaze me how fantastically supported this race is. The route is clearly set out and the Marshalls so encouraging.
It is my favourite race every year.
