A trip well planned
Trip very well organised. Top quality accomodation, beautiful food. Tanzania specialists figured that the original, agreed, itinerary could be improved on, and suggested a late minute change, which we applied. As an example of the level of detail and aftercare TS goes through. On completion of the safari
Katia organised the shuttle that took us to Nairobi once safari completed and a TS specialist vehicle dropped us off at the bus depot in Arusha. Emanuel the guide/driver very knowledgeable and pulled all stops to give us a brilliant time and we saw the great 5.

Tanzania Specialist couldn’t have set up a better Safari for us . Our Guide Hamadu was so knowledgeable about, animals , birds , flora and fauna, the history of Tanzania. He was very respectful to us and everyone else we encountered ( even rude and obnoxious people) Kudos to him. Our stays at each camp, or Resort were perfect for the situation ( in the heart of action ,quiet relaxation or site seeing adventures) Katia Michaela was our contact and she was very attentive to our needs and set it all up for us .Thank you!! Dream Safari
My husband and I, along with another couple, used Tanzania Specialist for a 10 night trip in Tanzania and Zanzibar. We spent 7 nights on safari, staying both in and out of the Serengeti Park. Not only was our trip fantastic - we saw the Big 5 along with 30+ other species, but Tanzania Specialist was great to work with from our first inquiry. Our questions were always answered and we were given plenty of options to make our trip exactly what we wanted it to be. Our guide, Julius, was fantastic. He made it his personal mission to make sure we saw as much as possible. Highlights include seeing leopards and cheetahs, both black and white rhinos, several Mara River crossings of zebra and wildebeests (including crocodile attacks!) and so much more. All of our accommodations were lovely, as was the staff at each one. We were all pleasantly surprised by the delicious food options too. This was a bucket list trip for us, and it was so much better than we expected. I would recommend Tanzania Specialist to anyone looking to book a safari.

Our entire trip was absolutely amazing…
Our entire trip was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. From the very first step of planning, everything was incredibly easy and well organized. Understanding the quotes, reviewing the itinerary, making changes, and organizing all of the details through the website was seamless. Being able to communicate directly with someone through WhatsApp was also incredibly helpful and made the entire planning process feel personal and effortless.
We loved every hotel that was chosen for us, but the property in Zanzibar was especially exceptional.
The staff there was incredible, and a special mention has to go to Atu. She went above and beyond to make our stay so special. Anytime we wanted to add a trip or excursion, she found wonderful partners and made everything so easy. The food was fantastic, the views were beautiful, and the rooms were amazing. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
We then spent the second part of our trip on safari, and our guide, Stephen, was incredible. We told him everything we hoped to see—and what we weren’t particularly interested in—and he somehow made it all happen. We were extremely lucky on our very first day, but Stephen’s knowledge and experience made such a difference. He knew exactly where to take us and when, and we were able to see everything we had hoped for.
On our final day, we saw the last of the Big Five—the rhinos—including both black and white rhinos in the Ngorongoro Crater. It was such an incredible way to end the safari.
Every lodge we stayed at was wonderful, the staff everywhere was kind and welcoming, and the entire trip was incredibly well organized. Stephen was not only an excellent guide but also extremely knowledgeable. Whether we were watching elephants, zebras, or any of the other animals we became fascinated with, he always made sure we had extra time to enjoy the experience.
We are so grateful for the entire trip and for everyone who helped make it so memorable, especially Atu and Stephen. We would absolutely do this trip again, and we’ve already recommended it to so many of our friends. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

The African safari of our dreams comes true in Tanzania
The safari of our dreams comes true! The Tanzania Specialist was easy to work with customizing our dream safari to some of the most beautiful parks in Tanzania including the Arusha, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks. Travel logistics, keeping personal safety a top priority, was well coordinated by our experienced guides and the Tanzania Specialist agents.
Our safari guides Charles (unknown last name) and Hassan Mussa made our dreams come true with their excellent experience in finding wildlife. Hassan especially led us to see some of the most memorable encounters of wildlife! His experience in wildlife identification and behavior was invaluable for discovering many unique wildlife scenes. On our first day of safari in the Northern Serengeti, we witnessed a major wildebeest crossing at the Mara River! Thousands of wildebeests and zebras gathered and then crossed the river in a cloud of dust! What a magnificent African wildlife scene captured by photos and videos and better than any National Geographic TV program! We also experienced a rare sighting of the elusive leopard coming out of the bush and passing our vehicle. Many other memorable encounters with the Big Five: elephants, water buffalo, lions, leopards and a rare rhino sighting made this a memorable African safari.
In addition, the landscapes of Tanzania are truly remarkable! Traveling through the vast wildlife-rich savannas of the Serengeti, the magnificent vistas from the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater and its unique wildlife habitat in the caldera of an ancient volcano, the geologically remarkable East Africa rift valley near Lake Manyara, and the swamps and rivers of the Tarangire National Park made this a memorable safari adventure. Not to mention the many "African massages" on the unforgettable bumpy roads!
All of our lodging was exceptional including both the luxury camps and the hotels. There is no other place in the world where you must be escorted to your camp tent at night because of the nocturnal creatures that might be lurking nearby!
The people and the food of Tanzania are unforgettable! Our cooking class in a banana plantation near the village of Mto wa Mbu left us with a better appreciation for the everyday life of the local people. Our travels through the countryside viewing the Masai villages and learning about tribal life was fascinating!
Our safari adventure in Tanzania was truly a memorable experience designed with the help of the Tanzania Specialist team. Our group is very grateful and blessed by the time we spent on safari in Tanzania!

Communcation very very poor, several issues during the trip with no communication from Tanzania. Still waiting on refund for events that we paid for and were just never schedule by specialists. Had many logistical and schedule issues during the trip that made no sense and could have easily been avoided.
