I enquired about a mercedes that was up for £13250, i live a distance away so asked for a walk around video of it. This was done and the car had very noticeable marks on the bodywork on the doors and the boot area. The salesman stated that these may polish off, and that the wheels were kerbed as well but that all the marks were to be expected with a car of this age 2020 plate i think with 59k miles. I asked if the car was to be prepared for sale, the reply was that they would get it cleaned up if a made a firm appointment to view. But otherwise they only keep their cars to try to sell for a max of 3 months then dispose of them through the trade, ( i presume through the auctions) and i quote, "so we don't like to spend any money on them unless we have too." i explained that i thought it should be at least valeted to make it look good and to see if these huge marks would just mop (polish ) out. But again just told that this would only be done if i made an appointment to view. This put me right off dealing with them, as if they cant even be bothered to get a car cleaned and polished, it begs the question of what they actually have done or checked in preparation to sell them. I was then called every day for several days to see if i was coming to view, in spite of the fact that i said i was committed with a hospital appointment and wouldnt be free to do anything for a few days. If they were as keen at getting the cars ready for sale as they were chasing a sale i think they would do a lot better. I told the salesmen how i felt about his approach and that i will take my custom elsewhere. Not doing themeselves any favours as i am looking to buy this particular make model etc. but not from them.

The whole buying process for my new car was handled very professionally, and everything about the car was fully explained.
When I picked up the car, it was in pristine condition and had been fully serviced, including a new tyre.
All the staff I dealt with at the branch were very friendly and welcoming.

Great sales team

I enquired about a car I'd seen on Autotrader and whilst I decided not to buy it in the end, my experience of Tangelo was first class.

Fin handled my enquiry and was absolutely first class throughout.

I'm several hundred miles away so Fin sent me a detailed video tour of the car and was very open and transparent throughout.

I never once felt like I was being sold to and when I said I'd decided not to buy it, he respected my decision.

Based on my experience, I'd have no hesitation in recommending Tangelo to anyone. Very refreshing. Thank you.
