We absolutely loved our week in Germany and visiting such fabulous cities. It was great value for money and stress free having someone else book everything for you. We thought the locations of all three hotels was fantastic. Our personal favourite was the hotel in Dresden, the staff were just lovely and so welcoming, and our room had a lovely view of the square. It's made us realise how easy it is to travel around Europe by rail, and we're already looking into our next trip!

The train travel part of the holiday was very well organised and successful, apart from unforeseen circumstances like a problem in the Tunnel and the uncertainty of German Railways. The hotels were well-placed for the stations and city centres. They were also clean, comfortable and helpful. My only complaint was at the hotel in Leipzig, when we arrived hot and tired from a day sightseeing and had to fill in a long form on a tablet before we could get to our room. I finished the form for myself and was then told to fill in the same information for my husband, which I refused to do. At 85, I can't stand around in Reception for ages giving out useless facts, which they could have taken from our passports and booking forms. Otherwise it was all lovely.
