Tail it was unreliable, often failing to track or inaccurate. Customer service for trying to fix the poor tracking issue was beyond slow. There was no phone number to speak to someone directly. It usually took them 3 days to respond to my emails. My pet tracker now sits in a drawer gathering dust. I now use Tractive and love their app which shows my pets activity over the last 24 hours so I have insight about his regular patrol zones. Tail it does not offer this feature. I would not recommend it.
Update: The live chat is great if you have basic questions to ask...like price, features etc. But! If you need help because your tracker is not working they tell you to e-mail their technicians. This is where the true delay in getting information/help occurs. I have now sent the tracker back for a refund. It has been weeks since I sent it back and I have not heard back from them...except for their reply to my review here. Funny, they responded so quickly to that!

Tail It Pet has been a great choice after my last tracker service failed badly.

Customer service is a breath of fresh air. Nothing is too much trouble for the team and they are always prompt and friendly when replying.

The tracker itself is perfect for my cat, who can wander a reasonable way, especially during the summertime. Occasionally it may take a little while to locate him, but after a few months use, so far it hasn't failed me!

I would definitely recommend this company and their pet tracker.

To begin I had a few problems setting the device up .but mainly as I am not used to computers etc.
I got in touch with support tailit via email and Staff are very helpful understand patient and very kind.Also very quick to respond and give you very clear instructions. when they could help with device end they did.Such a excellent customer service. gold star deserved.

Poor product. I have tail it which is the pet tracker. I've lost confidence though, hard to tell if its working, no battery low reminder, takes GPS ages to update with a location..

I reported my concerns and was asked to send images of my tracker taken apart. Most other companies would simply ask for the item to be returned to be checked.

I have verified my order with trustpilot and sent them my receipt to prove my review is real.

I am now back to using my old tracker.

Although I had a few issues with the product (Kickstarter backer so first batch) The overall customer experience was great, the team are very helpful and will do anything to get your issues sorted (if you have any). I'd highly recommend

Tail it offers high end commercial technology products for a fair price.

The software features of the Tail It App are somewhat extensible (I am missing a logging feature, as well as a browser-based access), but the software is solid and reliable and works well on Android Emulators (such as BlueStack).

The design of the devices follow a slim and elegant line, decent and lightweight.

Battery life is as limited as that of concurring devices of other brands. The powered devices warm slightly up (due to EMF radiation).

Overall a very pleasant experience.

I have to admit that initially, I was a bit concerned when I couldn't get anyone to reply on the live chat because apparently all the agents were too busy or what-have-you. Eventually when I did finally get someone on my 4th try, I was told that they couldn't answer my question and they would forward it to someone who could. All I wanted to know was if the Tail It Pet could be attached to any collar or if you had to buy the one they sell. Hardly a big deal.
All that said, I got a reply by email very quickly and after that, every time I have emailed back with additional questions, I have received very helpful replies very quickly.
I've been using the tracker for almost a week now and I am very happy with it and with the support I have received.
The only thing I am disappointed about is that the pictures on the website show an old version of the pet tracker and what I received looks much bigger. Support has assured me that it's actually smaller but unless the cat the used in the pictures is huge, the old tracker was smaller. Regardless, the pictures are misleading. But, my cat seems to be ok with it and, in fairness, the dimensions they state are true and correct.

When we bought the Gator 3 watch, it wasn`t syncing with my phone.

Chatting with tail it was super easy, and their response time was good.

They sent an update to the watch and now it works perfectly.

Nice trackers. Good to keep track of your valuables( pet, bike,etc) .Trackers have been realiable so far. Works as promissed.

Very usefull product - perfect when travelling. Good accuracy, battery time and easy to use app.

Only drawback is that turning on/off is not really intuitive.

Works really good! Especially since the latest firmware update, which was needed!

Fast pos update, accurate and the livetracking is awsome!

Love this products, ordered one of each from kickstarter and received it with mail. Makes me feel safer and will strongly recommend them ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I bought 2 tailit pet for my 2 dogs. The activation and installation on the tailit app was user friendly. I have used the trackers every day for one week and the functions works great: livetracking, turn on sound and turn on light. Fun experience remote controlling on the app. Outdoors the GPS function gives an accurate position. Indoors they switch to WIFI or LBS according to the tracking logic explanation. These small light trackers fits nicely on the standard collar and my dogs don`t notice. I wish the battery would last longer in live tracking, but I can recommend this product.
