We went for a lunchtime slot between Christmas and New Year with friends and absolutely loved the atmosphere of the place. Our waiter Andre was knowledgeable about Turkish wines and was extremely attentive. The food was fabulous. We all went for the 3 course lunch offer which is good value for money. We will definitely go back.

Unacceptable service

The service during our visit was completely unacceptable. Although the food was decent, everything else about the experience was handled badly.
Our mains were brought out before our starter plates had been cleared, overcrowding the table. Despite it being obvious we had finished, we had to ask for the plates to be removed. As a direct result of the table not being cleared, a waiter knocked over a full glass of soft drink while trying to place items down, soaking both my sisters.

Broken glass and spilled drink were left on the floor and table, with no attempt to move us, properly clean the area, or address the obvious safety issue. The apology was minimal and insincere.
During the rest of the meal, plates were dropped repeatedly by staff nearby, creating ongoing disruption and showing a clear lack of control on the floor.
Despite this, the bill still included a 10% service charge and a charge for the replacement drink. These were only removed after we complained to the manager.

I eat out regularly and have never experienced service this poor. I would not return.

We went to Table 5 to have dinner one evening and enjoyed excellent food. The starters and main courses were beautifully presented on the plate with a pleasing range of tastes and textures. The service was perfect, not intrusive but always at hand. The staff go out of the way to ensure that all is well and offer helpful advice as necessary.
