Great company

Great company! The communication from start to finish was brilliant, we were never left wondering about next steps. Overall, our survey was extremely quick with our results sent extremely detailed within 48 hours. Would highly recommend

Awful company - avoid

Awful company - would avoid.
We paid for a level 3 survey and the report was light, they also didn't let us know that we needed to replace velux windows so a £4k bill followed. And they didn't identify the electrics were out of date and needed replacing. When we complained, they missed their own complaints deadline - awful service and can't even follow their own procedures.

Me and my partner was very happy with the service and report we got , all smooth process and within booking the report it was all done in the matter of a week .
Adam Atkinson Did our report and it was brilliant went into a lot of detail . Also spoke to Phoebe who was easy to talk to and deal with when booking the survey .

An easy process done well

We recently used Syderek Survey Solutions for a Level 2 RICS survey by Barry and were thoroughly impressed with the service. The report was very detailed and clear giving us advice that really helped us.

They arranged the appointment with the vendor, picked a day and showed up exactly when they said they would.

A really good note was they surveyed on the Friday and the report came back Monday. They also responded to a follow-up question almost immediately.

An easy process to go through and done in a professional manner.

Our experience with this company was great in the sense that they gave a very detailed survey of the house, and their input helped us in terms of decision making as they didn’t leave any issues unattended

RICS level 3 survey

I had a Level 3 survey on a property I was going to purchase recently. The content in the survey was impressive. I couldn't thank Abdi Ahmed enough. It has saved me alot of money, time and worry. I highly recommend the company if your looking for a quality survey. It was worth it. Thanks again.

Efficient and thorough survey.

Our survey was scheduled and completed within 14 days of booking. The report was thorough and included images with detailed descriptions of the property condition. I would highly recommend Syderek to anyone looking for a surveyor.

Lack of detail and not good enough

Engaged for a level 3 survey on an older property.

Report was very light on detail and very superficial. Referenced there being no loft insulation when there clearly is. Feedback from the owners was that the work was brief and the surveyor didn’t take the chance to garner extra information. Various other inaccuracies or missing detail.

Have raise concerns and complaints and there is little appetite to hear issues or respond quickly.

Don’t use, go somewhere else

Good, Quick, Detailed and Professional

We recently used Syderek Survey Solutions for a Level 2 RICS survey and were thoroughly impressed with the service from start to finish. The report was extremely comprehensive, offering detailed insights and clear, practical advice that really helped us understand the property.

They arranged the appointment directly with the vendor, turned up exactly when they said they would, and handled everything smoothly—making the whole process completely hassle-free. In the midst of the stress that comes with buying a home, it was a real relief to have something run so seamlessly.

Although we were told the report could take up to a week, they went out of their way and exceeded our expectations by delivering it within just three days—a turnaround we really appreciated.

A pleasure to deal with—professional, efficient, and highly recommended.

I had a positive experience

I had a positive experience. My surveyor Adam was very professional and he provided me with a comprehensive and valuable report, including follow up conversation which assisted me greatly in purchasing my home. As someone buying alone I found the service informative and reassuring, knowing what to query further. I’m due to complete soon and I took all advice given. I’m happy. Thanks!

Great experience all round

Great experience all round! As soon as the company was instructed we received a welcome phone call and email the man I spoke to was very friendly while taking our details and talked us through the steps as it was our first time. We had our slot booked in within the day for the next two weeks. A few days before the survey we received a text message from Adam Atkinson to tell us he would be the one surveying the property he was lovely and told us he’s free to answer and questions before or once the survey was carried out. The report was very easy to read and the pictures were very clear, over all really happy!

Poor Service Overall!

I was recommended to use this company by my mortgage advisor. Everything started really well I always dealt with Phoebe who was really helpful. The problem started on the day of the survey. I got a call from our surveyor his name was James Winton. He was unprofessional in every aspect. He sounded distracted and was driving while telling me the issues with the house. He said at one point its unfortunate mate but I wouldn’t buy the house. I was so shocked that he is allowed to say something like that to me. Especially when we had paid just under £600. He continued then to tell me the estate agent was still showing people around the property and doing viewings. I was viewing the property the next day (Saturday) but he was almost trying to put us off in every aspect. I then called and spoke with Phoebe who was shocked also with the call she advised to put it all in writing and send it across. At first, I wasn’t planning to because we have enough to sort. But we did on reflection. I got a complaint acknowledgment which could take 28 days, which was ok. But I had a thought that the survey may then be delayed due to the complaint, I called spoke with Phobe who advised I would need to email in and she can check with the head surveyor. I then revoked my complaint because I didn’t want to have any delay in the report coming out. When I spoke to Phoebe later that day, she then advised they would never delay the report coming out only in exceptional circumstances. I felt like I was misinformed and was almost coerced in removing the complaint or it could just be lack of knowledge or training. I’m not sure. But my overall experience hasn’t been good. We will unlikely need a surveyor again but I would think twice before using this company. My Experience was based in the West Midlands and my surveyor covers this area. Please look into this company before proceeding with work or instructing.

Update - We have since had a damp report done from a separate company who have advised humidity is high in the property but no damp is present. I told them about this report and showed them these finding's and they were pretty shocked how awful the surveyor has made it sound. The property has been locked up since March with little ventilation. This is just to prove the service from James is awful and really shocking.

Update 2 - I have been contacted today by Phoebe this morning via email to ask for the damp report I paid for myself with a separate company. I called and spoke with Phoebe as I wanted to know what this would achieve. She couldn’t answer my question and said she had showed the surveyor this review and he had asked for the report for the damp. But she couldn’t tell me why. I said he is free to call me and discuss this further but he won’t do this it’s all over email. Then she asked me to pop this all in writing to her, I don’t think she understood she had reached out to me to ask for this report. My side was all done and I had closed my side and wrote the findings off and the money. I don’t know what they are trying to achieve still in the report coming across. But from my side it’s all closed and this review can show other people to avoid this company unless they are willing to part with a large sum of money to receive a substandard report.

Approach at CAUTION!!

Excellent Service

My mortgage advisor recommended them. I was very happy with the service received. Barry Symms the surveyor, knew there was some urgency to get the reported completed and it was provided the next day. What an amazing turn around! I am a novice to house buying and he was very helpful in explaining the contents of the report; what to take to my solicitors and what to have further inspected. A really helpful and competent service.

Great service

Great service . Easy access to login to portal provided. Very happy with Adam who carried out the survey. Had prior conversation before survey and Adam updated me following completion. report received within days . Adam was available for further queries / clarification.

Found Syderek on a search

Found Syderek on a search. Called to ask for details and spoke with a very friendly lady who help with all my questions. I instructed them to conduct the survey and the whole thing was great. They arranged the appointment with the estate agent, contacted me on the day of the survey to confirm they would be attending. Then provided me with a full and thorough report which I was able send on to my solicitor.
Highly recommend (and have already for a friend buying a local property!)

Avoid

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Syderek Survey Solutions. The surveyor instructed to survey the property I have purchased missed some fundamental issues. Some examples,
1.The property is clearly a four bedroom house and he recorded it as three bedroom.
2. In the report it states the property has solar panel, when it clearly does not.
The rear doors are misaligned, don't close properly and a glass panel is notably cracked. The surveyor did not identify or pick up on any of these issues.
3. The garden fence panel is leaning on a flower bed casing and is a safety hazard, the surveyor report states the fencing is in acceptable condition!
