Keep working

We finally got in touch after 8 days…
We finally got in touch after 8 days and they explained that it was a system error. Now I've got the course and some bonus materials and hope this was just "one off". The support is really polite, in my case it was Icy. If I could advise something to improve it would be responsivness to peoples messages. Other than that, my commendation.

The tutorial videos are easy to understand and they contain key tips which changed the way I approach questions. I can feel my confidence increasing steadily, and I can't wait to write the exams. I guess the end will justify the means.

Disappointing experience
While the videos are presented by a teacher who explains the material clearly, all of the examples used are taken directly from official OET preparation materials. None of the examples appear to be original, which in my opinion raises concerns about intellectual appropriation.
For me, this resulted in a disappointing experience and ultimately felt like a waste of time, as I was already familiar with the official examples and had memorized many of the answers. I was expecting original practice material that would help me genuinely improve my skills, rather than repeated content from existing sources.

To clarify, the vast majority of the material in our courses is original, in-house content developed by our academic team specifically to help candidates improve and pass the OET exam. This includes our own practice materials, mock exams, model answers, writing corrections, and structured lessons built from years of experience supporting students.
In addition to this, we do reference some official OET preparation materials. This is used deliberately as a teaching tool, allowing us to break down real exam-style questions and demonstrate how to approach them effectively. These are included as supplementary examples rather than the core of the course.
It sounds like you may not have been directed to the full range of our original materials, which is something we would be more than happy to help you with once we’re able to locate your account.

Initially, I was overwhelmed with the tremendous numbers of materials when I opened my portal. Then, as I started watching videos, I learned a day at a time. As days passed, I started to explore my materials and joined the online classes. I patiently watched the recorded videos if I missed to attend the online class. It helped me greatly. How I thanked Grace's recorded videos, Mark's online class for reading and listening class, Fraser's one - on - coaching, and Lisa's speaking class.

I have an excellent experience with Swoosh English. As I was struggling with listening and reading and I was fully desperate. Although, I joined Swoosh just before 2 weeks of my exam,it helped me alot. I believe that joining them at least for 1 month before exam would be more than helpful to get your desirable grades.

The videos should be more straight to…
The videos should be more straight to the point and should contain more explanations about the exemples. Too much talk and very little practice. The quiz are silly, should be a simulation of each section instead about theory. Also one to one classes available only Monday to friday until maximum 6pm. For who works, would be impossible to find a slot. I think the course is too expensive for those youtube videos that it contains. Not happy at all
