Insanely bad customer service
Insanely bad customer service. In the end, I repeatedly had to request for them to close my account, but they could never quite do it.
Eventually, I did it myself using their website, but even then, I had a balance of 0 CHF, but they wouldn't let me submit the form unless I gave my full bank details and address for them to.... errrr... refund the remaining balance to me.
And even then, when I cut'n'pasted my IBAN number into the form, it didn't recognise it. I had to delete the final number and manually re-type it in. The address was fully filled in, but I had error messages everywhere saying "This field is mandatory", even though the textboxes had text in them.
I did tell Swissquote about my issues, with a screenshot showing my problems and, as expected, I didn't even get a reply.
Dreadful (non-existant) customer service.

Good and bad thinks
The only good thing about the application is the range of colors and access to Swiss companies.
There are many negative aspects, I will only write a few that are the most critical:
- The charts on the mobile app are totally ugly, not user friendly.
- Fees for electronic annual tax report when competitors offer it for free.
- Quite high custody fee when competitors have zero fees.
- Exaggerated fees on each transaction when competitors have them much lower.
- Incorrectly displayed data regarding performance, regarding how much money was invested. This also refers to the 3A pillar.
- Quite a lot of mobile app errors.
I don't see any reason in using Swissquote for trading/investing as I can get exactly the same thing but with 80% fewer fees.
Guys, you should do something about the services you offer.

Swissquote is more advanced on offering…
Swissquote is more advanced on offering trading tools to its clients than Brock and mortar companies which I consider the regular Swiss banks to be. They are more innovative easier to get access to and way less expensive than regular banks. Even they are well ahead of their competition there is still place to add some additional free analytical tools eg like it is been used by fidelity Schwab and other US financial institutions. I love the Bloch barriers!

Very good banking and trading account! I am using Swissquote since 9 months now. When I had an issue to verify or to buy a stock that was not jet available for trading I spoke with real people from Switzerland at the phone and got great support. Probably the best bank account I ever had

For Trading on the stock market the best in Switzerland.
But for normal Banking with payments to other IBAN accounts, money exchange for currencies a REVOLUT is far better and faster

In general I am satisfied. Maybe the following can be improved:
- Its difficult to find right ETF in your page. For example fees are very important in selection of ETF but it is not possible to see it in the etf list.
- 1% fee for stock exchange is quiet high. Especially in saving plans.
