After multiple years of not perfect, but good enough VPS hosting, Swiss Made Host or their parent company Solar Communications GmbH has decided to decommission their whole VPS offering at the hardware level. While by their own accounts the decommissioning was planned for a longer time, the customers were informed just 30 days before the hard deadline.
Additionally, as the whole VPS offering is being removed, they don't offer any similar kind of service and expect people to either pay 10x or more of their previous hosting cost or move to a different hoster.
Think twice about choosing a service provider that fails to communicate with the customers and has no actual interest in retaining those customers.
