Impossible to get my identity verified... BIG BUG
A system you can't trust
It's supposed to be a high trust, high security system to carry your ID for online services. Yet, they can't even manage a simple mobile app without many issues. Worse, now that their app is retired, you can't login to their app: their SMS gateway won't send messages. You are effectively locked out of your Swiss Post account because their subsidiary is unable to handle their only mission properly.
I hope Swiss Post realizes the blunder this system is and return to integrated login on their own platform.
Useless, no email verification sent, locks you out of the post site
The worst service you can get. 404 error, bugs, I am trying to use swiss id to log in the swiss post app and it's a nightmare. NOTHING is working, even the forms to send a feedback are not sending anything. The worst is that IF you make this piece of shit of a software to finaly work, 4 month later you id will be expired and you will have to start again.
Resolving basic issues with a customer account seems virtually impossible.
I’ve been trying to log in for months, without success.
Today, I changed my password three times, following instructions from SwissID support.
But clearly, the root of the problem lies elsewhere.
Unfortunately, even SwissID doesn't seem to understand that.
It's just another password to remember or to write it down, it offers nothing more to me and it's useless apart for the Post website where you are forced to use it (and every time I set up a new password losing so much time). So 2010s. AGOV for example is much more user friendly, fully biometric, never an issue.
EDIT: they activated passkeys, meaning I can now use fingerprints. In theory. First, it asks for my fingerprints on desktop, where I don't have a reader. Second, the site keeps asking me to re-login and then redirects me to a page that says "invite only". Third, my identity expired and the procedure to scan documents does not work. No, it's not me, I used the same documents and type of procedure with two different banking apps. Worse than before, I deleted my account.
1. No device compatibility list provided. I had to buy multiple (useless) Android phones, incl. a new moto g35, just to see them fail SwissID's naive 'integrity check' (while actually passing the official API checkers)
2. It can fail in many stages and modes, all without ever telling what the cause is... opaque!
3. It eventually works on an iphone, yet only after many trial&failures, as again SwissID never reports what's the problem (fails every step, silently).
Fazit: A shame hall of (in)fame, likely only a monopoly (Post and CH gov't) could survive such low quality s/w products.
The UI looks good but the CX and UX is terrible > none exciting. They are on a good path but they definitely need to take it up to the next level - in Tech terms too. They should get some professionals in to get this sorted. They could reach DocuSign level.
Customer support is terrible. Took whole week to add a foreign mobile number in onboarding process. Also, CS could not support nor help with alternatives, instead they got offended and rude. Result: User failure on main task (signing a document) due to lack of Tech, CX and Support.
Not user friendly and inefficient.
Just a poor piece of software.
The app is an absolute headache and also obsolete, as it does not add any value to the connected apps as SBB and Post
Dysfunctional system. It started painfully, but I finally managed to "successfully" scan my passport (the system accepted the scan). Then I was prompted to scan my face. In the scanning process the display showed my face 90 degrees rotated, so it was difficult to recognise if the system received the correct views. However it "accepted" it and sent me back to scanning my passport because "the passpord information was too old". Crazy system.
The system does not work, the site is too slow, I have tried 3 times to change my address and the links do not work, the process is completed but then my old address appears again.
They send me a verification code, but then the account shows up again unverified.
Please review your system. it is one of the worst i have ever used online.
I recently ordered an extract from the debt collection register through SwissId, I only realised when I got the document that an upcharge of 12.- was included in the 30.- which I payed for the document.
And SwissId is yet another Swiss Post service to be used only when in diar need.
It's incredible: one day I get a notification that my account had been blocked... reason unknown. I should call the number of the customer support (payable) or send an e-mail. I have decided to send an e-mail. After 3 reminders and 14 days passed there is still no reaction from swissid. Such a lousy customer service and unstable site cannot be partner of the giant Swiss Post. Needs to be improved dramatically or reconsidered urgently!
piece of crap useless service forced by the swisspost one of the worst SSO seen in my life hope they go out of business or swisspost dump them
People beware, for this service is a joke. My Swiss Post account is connected to this useless Swiss ID authentication thing which means it cannot be access with anything but a Swiss ID credentials - do not do the same mistake. When I needed to urgently access my Swiss Post account to reschedule delivery, it was impossible to do so because that Swiss ID app/service was down and customer service was unreachable through all EN, FR, IT language support lines. Spent an hour trying to get a hold of someone, no result. Terrible experience, no reason to use it whatsoever.
