Excellent one to one service, very patient couldn’t recommend Brian enough.

Brain provided me with some excellent swim coaching for an event , very knowledgeable and provided me with some in valuable assistance 👍

My daughter has been swimming with Brian in Spellbrook for a month. He keeps learning fun. Every lesson recaps on previous activities along with new skills and activities.

Brian is calm and explains in age appropriate language.

He is very patient and gives praise which is always encouraging.

Great venue which allows toddlers to stand unaided around the side of the pool to build confidence and doesn’t result in them having to be held to learn.

I regret every single penny I’ve spent with this company. Repetitive classes every week with no concern about your progress. They wouldn’t mind if you stayed with them indefinitely even if you’re not making progress.

I attended a Swimming Crash Course this week, which I really enjoyed. My teacher Eva was patient, funny, and excellent. I now need to put into practise what ive learned. I would certainly promote Brian, Eva and their Swimming Course to friends of mine.

Great option for private classes. The location in the Barbican School for Girls is very practical, quiet and clean. Instructors are all very friendly, including for young children (we have started as young as 3 years old). Easy to book and coordinate. Recommended!

Brian is an excellent teacher who is really calm and helps you build up your confidence with every stroke. My swimming has really improved and my confidence is increasing lesson upon lesson. Highly recommended.

I had a medium fear of water when I started swimming lessons with Brian FitzGerald. Initially, a fair bit of time was spent building my confidence and getting used to having my face in the water, something I was never comfortable with. He has an excellent teaching method breaking each stroke down to its component parts and then building back up to the whole stroke. In my first few lessons, as well as my fear dissipating, Brian has taught me three different strokes which I can do competently including while practising on my own. I certainly wouldn't have been able to to any of this two months ago! Brian is an excellent instructor with a lot of patience, also he is a thoroughly nice chap.

My husband and me are so happy with Brian, he is a very professional swimming teacher. Also the private pool is really amazing that he is teaching us there. I highly recommend him to everyone.

Brian and his team (Eva and Claudio) helped me achieve my long-held dream of learning to swim. With a patient, guiding and positive style, they helped me learn the front-crawl/freestyle technique. I can now confidently swim from one end of the pool to the other and back again without stopping or the use of accessories (fins, paddles, etc.).

Brian instructed me for half the lessons where we focussed on comfort with the water and components of the technique. After this, I was passed on to Claudio for a few sessions to help me with my breathing and to introduce me to the deep. I finally wrapped up the lessons with Eva, who helped me put it all together and swim confidently from shallow to deep and back again.

I am very happy with the result and would recommend swimmingclass.co.uk to adult learners who similarly want to learn this key skill.

Signed up for a crash course at the Barnet swimming pool to learn basics to breast stroke and I finished the week a much stronger swimmer. Brian is a good coach and I would not hesitate to recommend him.
The pool was just ok, the mens changing room is big but I did not use the shower so can not tell you wether it worked or not etc... My lessons were quiet early (6:30am) and it was easy to drive and park to the venue and no traffic but I can't say the same when it gets to 7:30am as you meet the traffic on both directions as you leave car park. Now I just need to follow Brian's advice and practice, practice and practice to get better.
