The bike's materials quality is not the best, I already had to replace 4/5 of them over almost an year of utilization, nevertheless I always had no kind of problems with the operator on explaining and then fixing the issue. For the city experience is perfect!

I don’t usually submit reviews but particularly at Alexanderplatz swapfiets these two guys who work there are so nice and helpful and so happy and chill it was such a great experience renting my bike again for spring/summer season. Disappointing
Unfortunately swapfiets doesn't provide a decent way to return the bikes if the shop is closed. Even though it was a usual working day and within swapfiets working hours (Friday afternoon) I stood in front of closed doors and had no chance to hand in the bike on my last day in Germany. At the end of the story I had to pay for it. Definitely not fair.

I’ve been in Berlin for business since…
I’ve been in Berlin for business since October 2024, and choosing Swapfiets has been one of the best decisions I’ve made! Instead of spending €140 per month on public transport just for commuting, I get around effortlessly for just €25 per month—an absolute game-changer!
Sure, I had three days of rain and sleet, but every other day has been dry or even sunny, turning my daily ride into a pleasant 6-mile workout instead of just another commute. It’s been a fantastic way to stay active and enjoy the city at the same time.
Service-wise, Swapfiets has been outstanding. They operate from Monday to Friday, which is fine once you’re aware of it. When my key broke on a Sunday, I couldn’t lock my bike, so I had to wait—but first thing Monday, I got an entirely new bike at their Berlin Mitte station. Now that is top-tier service! The staff? Knowledgeable, friendly, and well-mannered—a rare find in today’s world, and something that truly makes a difference.
Being 60 isn’t a big deal, but I have to say the Swapfiets app has been incredibly helpful and easy to use! Communication has been impeccable, and the best part—you can even talk to an actual human. Great experience!
I had a minor payment issue twice when I switched banks at the beginning, but a quick chat with support solved it right away—no hassle, no hidden fees, just excellent service. Highly recommend!
I signed up for a six-month plan, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Huge thanks to Swapfiets—keep up the fantastic service!

Very knowledgeable and helpful person in the store. My only complaint is company policy: it is just AWFUL that you do not provide helmets. No one should ride a bicycle, especially an electric bicycle, without one.

Unfortunately, the service at Swapfiets has significantly worsened lately. I now have to wait a week for a repair appointment, which is far too long. The service used to be much faster and more reliable. Very disappointing!
