I've purchased from Swallowtail Garden Seeds for many years, and have had really good germination results. I appreciate that they provide planting instructions on their packets that is specific to each seed variety. While sowing the first seeds from my most recent order, I was happy to find they added QR codes to their packets. It is nice to have an easy way to access the more detailed information on their website with my phone, even when my fingers are muddy!

I've been ordering flower and vegetable seeds from Swallowtail Garden Seeds for 6 years. Their seeds are freshly packed and germination rates are excellent. They have MANY new varieties each year and their large collection of zinnias is seriously amazing. I also appreciate that they have real humans (!!!) available by phone or email that are knowledgeable gardeners themselves. I'm getting ready to start my seeds under lights this week. Last year's favorite was 'Fireworks' Gomphrena. This year I'm looking forward to 'Fondant Fancy' Cosmos and 'Starflower' Scabiosa.

I've been ordering from Swallowtail for at least 5 years and I'm very happy with the seeds. Good germination and they have some hard to find flower varieties.

This is the second time that I have bought there petunia seeds. They are suppose to be the trailing seeds that are supposed to be in the blue, burgundy, pink, red rose mom, rose star, salmon, and white. Theses have been purple the last two time I ordered. FALSE ADVERTIZING so please be aware before you order from them.

I purchased 12 packets of Columbines, multiple packets of Campanula seeds and none of the seeds have grown.

VERY FRUSTRATING!!

I ordered a package of Maverick Quicksilver seeds (a pink geranium) last summer (2023). I bought a whole lighting and seed starting setup because I was so excited to add these to my white and pink garden. After 4 months of growing the seeds, they ended up being the Bullseye Salmon. Not anywhere close to pink. There is not time to regrow these seeds so I will have to purchase plants. Quite a disappointment to say the least. You would think a seed company would at least label their seeds correctly. I certainly won't purchase any more seeds from them and would caution anyone else who does.

Order a variety of impatiens seeds in Early March. The seeds were well packaged, and received as promised in a very timely manner. Planted the impatiens seeds in 2 inch peat pots under grow lights using a heat mat. The germination rate was excellent. Transplanted the impatiens from 2 inch to 3 inch pots as their roots developed. About 2 weeks after our last frost, transplanted impatiens outside. Did not harden them off prior to transplanting. All impatiens plants are doing extremely well, growing and blooming nicely. Swallowtail will be my go to company for flower seeds and will explore vegetable seeds for next season. They did a good job, and very reliably. Thank you for a hassle free purchase.

Very fast shipping and even gave a few extra seeds than mentioned (27 instead of 25).
They have a phone service and a great selection of plant seeds you won't find elsewhere. I look forward to my Lisianthus!
