I bought a new Adidas 36.5 Hockey stick for my daughter and within the 3rd practice match the sticks paint is badly chipping, and you can see thick primer exposed. The previous Gray's stick she had since grade 2 and that stick only slightly chipped in over the past 2 years.
Shipped me a used and broken item
I ordered a camping shower because I’m dealing with some plumbing repairs, and figured this would be an easy way to do dishes and things with heated water while the water is off for the plumber. The item said it wasn’t picked up for delivery, thus no estimated delivery date until it was actually delivered, annoying but ok. However, the item that came was used, dirty, and broken. I contacted the site to remediate the issue, and have still not received a response. I tried to review the item, and that review has yet to show up on the site. I ended up ordering a similar item from a different store. I don’t actually have time to go try to return the item, but I also don’t think they should keep my hard earned money for something that is broken beyond use. They shouldn’t have even shipped the item out as of it were a new item that a customer would want or be able to use. It’s pretty disgusting to receive a used “camping shower.” They literally sent me someone else’s used and broken return. I will never waste good money on this company ever again. Im assuming they will accept the return because they sent me someone else’s… but then again I’m not sure I can even trust this company.

A former loyal customer. 25 day turnaround from customer care inquiry. I expected a more timely and effective resolution to my issue. The extended delay has not only caused inconvenience but has also left me feeling undervalued as a customer.
Return policy issue
I do not suggest buying anything from sportsman warehouse that has a combustible engine. I purchased a generator on May 3rd 2024 and it ran fine. I tried to run it again on May 11th and could not get it to start at all. Sportsman Warehouse policy is if fuel or oil has been introduced to the combustible engine they will not take it in for a return. Luckily Firman warranty and customer service techs are very good. It turned out to be a fuel hose torn and leaking all fuel in the tank. They are sending me a new hose to install.
I have a serious issue with Sportsman’s Warehouse policy. How do I know if it work without putting fuel and oil in it. Then I also have a problem with the fact I only had the generator for 8 day (192 hours) before I had an issue. The sportsman warehouse store manger in Columbia, SC would not do anything to help me. I am really disappointed with sportsman warehouse as a whole. I would caution buying anything that has a combustible engine through them. I will never buy another product like that again through them. I’m also contemplating ever to spend a single dime there.
Would not sell woman firearm
Sportsmans Warehouse would not sell me a firearm because I am a woman. I went to my local sportsmans warehouse store to purchase a Springfield 10mm. My local store would not sell me a firearm because I was a woman.
I had looked at the 10mm at a different store and decided to come to sportsmans because it was a better deal and I have purchased several firearms through them over the years. I went in with my boyfriend. The clerk approached my boyfriend who indicated I was there to look at the Springfield 10mm. They pulled it out and I said I wished to purchase, again I had looked at it at another store. I was asked to fill out the ATF443. After doing so I was harassed by the store manager who indicated he was the only manager over the whole store, his staff backed his "credibility" saying he owned/opened the store. I was harassed and accused of purchasing the firearm for my boyfriend. I was grilled with questions that were personal and unfounded. They asked my boyfriend if he had an account with sportsmans because he did not they refused the sell me the firearm. My account/history did not matter nor my honest answering of their harassing questioning. I was accused of being escalated, I was not. I was firm and direct. I was in no way out of line. I was dismissed and disregarded and I belive it was because I am a woman and I am disappointed that is thier brand. Had my boyfriend been buying the firearm I belive my presence would not have mattered, but because I was a woman purchasing a firearm having my boyfriend presence did? On my ATF 443 I legally and honestly answered the firearm was for me. The store said my behaviors of not inspecting before purchasing was a red flag indicator from corporate training. Additionally, I informed the staff and manager harassing me that even if I was purchasing the firearm for my boyfriend there are no legal issues as he can legally own a firearm. To which I was told to calm down because the store manager "came to me calm", again I was not unregulated at any point. I suppose the brand is in thier name sports"mans". I understand I am unwelcome in their stores and will ensure to share my experience.

Sportsman's Warehouse says they were going to give you a $50 coupon if you spent over $200.00 The coupon is not good for ammonition or many other products. So what good is the coupon if you can't use it for stuff you want to buy.

I purchased waders online from Sportsman’s Warehouse on 9/4/23. I used them for the first time on 9/23/23 and they leaked. I contacted customer support on 9/25/23. They formed me the waders are now “used” and could not be returned or exchanged. They could only offer me a $25 partial refund! What??? I paid $125 and have had them less than 30.

Atrocious Customer Service and Unreasonable Delays
My online order was cancelled but the customer service team cannot tell me whether or not my order will ultimately be processed and whether my card will be charged. I was told that someone will reach out in 48 hours....my items would have been delivered in this time frame. Instead, I wait two days to find out if I need to purchase this elsewhere or not and whether my card is going to be charged. I have an upcoming trip that I needed this item for, so this delay and the non-answers are really causing a burden. I just wish I knew whether or not I need to buy this elsewhere.
Deceptive business practices
Twice I’v purchased a product online to pickup at their Bend, Oregon location. Both times, even though they said I could pick it up that day, I received an email from them, after I had paid in full, that it wasn’t actually at the store and was being shipped from another store. Both times it wasn’t available that day. It took lengthy phone calls to discover this and they couldn’t tell me when it would be. The store would not cancel the order and refund it. That took a 30 minute call to their national number. Then they hung up on me. Another call and I found out that the product would not be there until the following week and I could not cancel it until then. At that point it would take 5 to 10 days more to actually have the funds returned. I asked to talk to a manager, was put on hold for another ten minutes and then told a supervisor, due to them being rather busy, would call me back within 24 hours.
Lies and Deception
Ordered a crossbow that was in stock. 4 days later it hasn’t shipped so I contacted them. They said it was out of stock. Tried to order another bow on their website that was in stock, but spoke with rep and they said that one was out of stock. Spoke with supervisor and she was no help. Just kept saying she was sorry. Deceptive business and terrible customer service. NEVER order from them.

I find out you only find out discount at register.
Knowing before purchase would drive my purchasing decision.
Then the Hillsboro Oregon store I think had only one register open, and at least 50 people in line.
Waiting a total of three hours to perhaps get a decent discount is not a good customer experience.

I personally will probably never buy from this company again . I ordered 2 22 rifle for my kids for Christmas. They said shipped but then in a week when I call to check turns out they never even had them to ship. Took them 2 weeks to verify they never shipped them after they said they didn’t , to get my money back. I still haven’t got my 30 back for the ffl transfer fee they charged that never happened because they didn’t have the product to transfer , after all that no apology or credit or anything for all that incompetence

I don't live close to any stores
I don't live close to any stores, its a 40 minute drive. I don't know why they have phones. I called 2 stores for 3 days and no one answered. This is common place with sportsmans. Im not driving 40 minutes to waste my time. Certain firearms never go on sale, that from a sales rep. I don't know how they stay in business.
