One star – unsafe work and intimidation.
I brought my car in for a routine service after an MOT advisory, specifically to have the brakes inspected and repaired. I was charged in full and told the work had been completed.
Less than a week later, the brakes failed while I was driving locally. An independent mechanic later confirmed that the recommended repairs had not been carried out at all.
When I returned to the garage to raise this, the mechanic was dismissive and became hostile, suggesting I was “looking for trouble.” As an older resident from the Erdington area, I found the situation intimidating and upsetting.
No explanation, no apology, and no refund were offered. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to take their vehicles elsewhere.
