Survivor Gaming 

I have used Survivor Gaming for several Valheim worlds and have been impressed every time with the performance of the server and ease of use of the control panel. When I did have an issue, the response was nearly instant and resolved within a few minutes.

In contrast I have used Shockbyte managed and DigitalOcean self-managed. Shockbyte has spotty performance and tickets take days for a response and require a fee if you want to be resolved faster. Survivor Gaming's performance is consistent and their utilization of Discord for tickets is brilliant because its instant messaging and easy to have a conversation about the issue.

I had tried Digital Ocean thinking having more control over the process would lead to a smoother experience, but it was a lot of setup with little performance because those are more general purpose VPS's. I can confidently place the process in Survivor Gaming's hands and its smooth every time.

Brandon provides fantastic server performance, server tools and customer service. These are rare things to have all in the same place. I will stay with and support this service as long as it exists.

I have been using Survivor Gaming's services for over a year to run our modded Valheim server and a vanilla server before that. We've had very little downtime and when any issues or questions have popped up we've been given a quick helpful and friendly response. The servers are capable and configurable giving us more than enough power to run our server with the atrocious amount of mods we've slapped on.

The server is awesome. My friend can’t stop himself from building absolutely massive projects in our world, and even though he does it takes no toll on others connections whatsoever. This is all accompanied by extremely swift and efficient customer service through the Survivor Gaming discord. Couldn’t ask for a better host.

Had a few issues at times with server setup but was quickly resolved by staff. Great service!!!!

Excellent customer service - I am new at using a server hosting program and I'm used to waiting a LONG time for assistance. Seconds after using the discord service, I had someone talking to me and INSTANT help. It took less than 2 minutes. Steller customer service and the server is working great. My only suggestion is some dumbed-down information for newbies who have little computer-server experience :-)

Survivor Gaming was my first dedicated server experience and I can't imagine it being any better. Brandon is available and has the know how to fix almost any problem. He genuinely cares, which makes it a pleasure to do business with him. As far as his equipment, it's some of the best there is for an awesome price. Will keep using the service as long as it's there.

Satisfactory Game Server
This was all new to me (utilizing game servers), but I was excited to try this out and play Satisfactory with friends! Brandon has great patience and walked me through every step! The server was up and running very quickly with a user-friendly interface. The servers were a blast! Worked out very well with no lag or downtime. My friends and I wrapped up our playthrough and cancelling was just as easy. No doubt we will be returning again for Valheim or 7 days to die.

Beats the heck out of any mega server providers.

Fantastic performance for the price. Haven't had a single issue with lag or disconnecting, much better than peer-to-peer connections. Latency is in the low 30s to at most max 50 ms. I haven't tried mod support, but since the game is still in active development, mods have a tendency to break the game so we've been playing vanilla. It's perfect for having friends play not only together, but also during separate times when our schedules don't align.

This is probably the least user friendly server hosting service I have ever used. If you are not fluent in computer programming or are not at least familiar with DOS then this is not the service for you. There is no customer service to be found to help bridge the gap of my programming knowledge. Really wish I had used the trial first so I didn't waste my money, but there's nothing that can be done for that now. Save your money and go elsewhere. I used this for a Valheim server and there is no way to change your game seed or to grant rights to use developer commands. People are disconnected from the server after 30 seconds of not moving, whether you're playing or afk. Just a complete waste of money, you're better off making your own dedicated server on a computer than using these scammers service.

Edited since I got a response: I have been attempting to contact you ever since I purchased the server and have not had a response through email or discord. That's why I said customer service is no where to be found. The seed I was given is unusable, which happens sometimes in Valheim. But now I'm stuck with a world that I can't use because of where certain bosses generated. And it isn't an issue of my lack of knowledge, other servers allow you to give people admin access. And the server manager screen just gives you a wall of code with a spot for you to input data with no tutorial about how to use it or what coding language I'm supposed to use.

I just came here to warn people to do their research before spending money online, I didn't expect a round of gaslighting from the owner. Be warned people, a company that gets rude and disrespectful when you point out flaws, after emailing for over a week with screenshots of the problems, maybe isn't where you need to spend money. Especially when there are many companies who don't get defensive when their customers have problems that go unanswered. The only email contact I have received back from this company was the one asking me to fill out this survey.

I am sorry that you felt the need to go on the offensive here in response to my review. In the future I might suggest responding to your emails when customers ask for assistance instead of trying to have a virtual pissing contest.

These guys are responsive and the service is solid. What more can you ask for.

Getting up and running was simple. Server performance has been great.

We had one issue after a recent game update. Brandon responded quickly, which is unexpected in the late evening in my time zone. He was very helpful and resolved the issue quickly.

Amazing server so far. Used it for about a week now and have only had one issue and by the time I got to the discord server to report it, he already had an annoucement explaining the issue and when it will be fixed. They are very good about keeping everyone updated and the servers themselves are fantastic. No issues, easy to manage, easy to setup for the first time. Great service for a good price.

Great service, stellar customer service

Had an issue setting up a trial server, problem was resolved within minutes, very friendly.

Tried them out for a Valheim server on the recommendation of a few reddit users. Servers are fast and easy to use control panel. Had an issue with our server where we needed to have the instance reset with a fresh install, and had Brandon help us, and he was awesome.

We wanted to switch server locations from Dallas to Chicago, emailed the admin and within 5min everything was switched over. Did not expect the immediate response so I was pleasantly surprised. Servers are fast, we haven't experienced any dropping or rubber bandings either. Would recommend for sure.
