Poor service

Poor service - umbrellas took 5 weeks to arrive; far too late for Christmas. The company claims to be based in Switzerland but the goos were shiped from China. No contact, no e-mails they just ignore any correspondence. Also, don't believe any tracking number for your order - they don't work either.

Suprella- super disappointed

So I bought this as a gift- expecting that the company review were legit, but this umbrella is no different than the rest. I liked the size and the concept, but its made with plastic spokes and it just doesn't last. We had it for a bit longer than the other reviewers, but I expected better construction for the price I paid. In fact, I would pay that much again, if there was a company out there with a product that actually stands up to real usage!

we bought two- the handle fell off one…

we bought two- the handle fell off one after a few uses...fixed with no nails but seems precarious. On the other a spoke has come through the fabric and it cannot be fixed. Cheaply made. Terribel products, would never by again. Huge and expensive mistake,

I would give it NO stars

I would give it NO stars, if that were possible. Paid $69 including shipping in Dec 2016, have opened it a total of 5 times and yesterday, the frame broke and a piece of it is dangerously sticking out of the lining, straight down. Do not order one of these....evidently there is absolutely no recourse for a dissatisfied customer. There is no email response and no phone number. Warn others!! If you still insist on trying one of these inverted umbrellas (they are wonderful, until they break), there are many less expensive versions out there now. Don't buy a Sunbrella umbrella!!

Really cheap product and poor customer …

Really cheap product and poor customer service. Mine broke after only a few uses. The spoke broke through the fabric and cut my hand. The customer service was useless and would not replace or refund the product.

Very disappointed with the quality of …

Very disappointed with the quality of this umbrella. The fabric seems poor quality, (already fraying after 3 months), and the handle came off last week.
The spokes do not seem to be any stronger than my 'normal' umbrella, as the arms have already bent. Sold as superior German quality but this is a large con.

The idea behind the umbrella is terrific and if it was better quality it would be a fabulous product, one which I wouldn't mind paying the exorbitant price I was charged.

DO NOT BUY this product

DO NOT BUY this product. Splurged on two $54 Suprella Pros (from their German website so they're not knockoffs)—one as a gift and one for myself. The handle fell off mine while it was hanging in the closet, never used, waiting for the first rainy day. I love the design and the concept, but when I contacted customer service to try and get a replacement, like other reviews here, I received an extremely cold reply saying the 14-day return period was up...and they offer No warrantees. They don't even have the common courtesy to say "We're sorry"! If half the claims on their impressive website and videos were true, why wouldn't they stand by their product...unless of course they know that their umbrellas are little more than elegantly designed garbage and will most probably self-destruct after 14 days...of non-use. Politely, this could be called false advertising, but more accurately, it's outright fraud. At least, so far, my friend's is holding up and she loves it.

Faulty product, terrible customer service

I bought one of these and it broke within weeks of use. I contacted Suprella Pro for a refund and was told that unless I made a claim within three days of receiving the product, then my claim would not be valid. Apparently, 'claims reported beyond this time frame are regarded as guarantee cases, while our terms and conditions and our return policy state that we currently do not offer any warranty on our goods.'
This is preposterous. I am not asking to return the product because I don’t want it; I am not asking for a replacement or an exchange of good; I am wanting a full refund of the money I paid as the product has broken while being used as an umbrella - the only thing it is supposed to do! Your product is faulty and you have taken my money in exchange for a defective item. You owe me $49.99 plus $9.99 for shipping. I want my money back.

Suprella is unsuitable

Suprella is large, bulky, heavy. I want to return mine for a refund but the company has not replied to my emails. I got the email address from a report on Facebook by another dissatisfied customer! There is no contact email or address or phone number on the suprella.com website. The suprella was mailed from a Mr Zhao in China! Who are these people and where are they based?

Worst Customer Service For Online Shopping

I bought 3 umbrellas but only 2 arrived, after 4 months. I have sent messages to the customer support, and they sent me a form that I had to fill out but there's no reference/data about the package. I messaged again and still got nothing after 1 month. I'm stuck!!! Worst online-shopping experience ever!

Worst Shopping Experience

Ordered and paid for Suprella October 28 2016. Now March 2017. Item still not received. Have made negative comments on FB which have resulted in posts from Suprella advising me to follow up with their support sector. Have tried this twice, however it is useless as they do nothing.

A complete rip off

I ordered 2 before Xmas 2016 they arrived end jan 2017 ( weeks) both arrived totally broken with the handles bent over at an angle so i photographed them - did not unwrap them and sent the photos on there Facebook customer service which is non existent in being active and Now nothing will be one so they will go in the bin. Its a big scam - so do not other to buy them. Made in chine sent from china and packaged so badly they just break. I was billed £120 on my master card too and now i see thy are half the price.

Great PR, laughable service!

Experience in common with many other reviews. BEWARE!
Arrived weeks late, from China, not Germany. Poorly packaged, coming undone and spokes unattached.
Received two deliveries instead if one ( both at the same time) and thought i may have inadvertently ordered two or it was their way of apologising for delay.

No! One month later i get an email demanding i either pay for the additional delivery or send it back. And I'm not the only one to get this.

This company is clearly dodgy brothers!

I've put my sad experience down to the perils of internet shopping.
