The best hobby and teacher ever!
It’s hard to believe, but a friend and I have been taking private lessons with Malcolm for seven and a half years now. Although I was a complete beginner when I started, I fell in love with it immediately. It is the class where, instead of watching the clock and waiting for the end, I actually wish it would keep going. Malcolm has a brilliant way of adapting to the student; he gradually increases the complexity of the routines so that you always feel like a star, it drives you. He is well-mannered and friendly, sincerely happy for the students' successes, and gives 100% every single time. He creates new moves, routines, and various styles into our core one —Afro House. On days when I dance in the morning, I feel so much energy and such a great mood that it carries over into everything else I do. When I post dance videos on Instagram, many of my friends get inspired to take up dancing for themselves. My body feels light and full of energy. I was worried that the jumping might eventually cause knee pain—as some people had warned me—but the opposite happened: my knees have actually gotten stronger, which really helps with my badminton practice. I am happy and grateful!
