Completely unreliable. They just didn't arrive at all to pick me up. After 20 mins waiting I phoned them - they first just put the phone down - finally they did make an arrangement with a taxi, but no explanation as to why, no apology.
Landed at 1am, had booked a shuttle maybe 4 days prior. 4 shuttles came and went taking loads of people who had also booked, One shuttle driver advised me my booked shuttle was 10 minutes away, and then nothing.
For an hour we sat there with another group waiting for our prebooked shuttles. They ended up taking taxis and me and my family took 2 Ubers home.
They were too busy to keep up with their bookings, I think the website blindly accepts them with no balance of how many drivers they have available.
Never again.
Today I made use of suppershuttle and my shuttle driver dropped me near 81 Waimairi Road instead of the address I requested (2 homestead Lane).
I kindly explained the driver that Waimairi road was not the entrance to my address, as the road is split in two by the construction site, and that he had to get into Homestead through Ilam road. The driver argued that he was not doing so, that “this is your place” and that he was unable to turn around in Homestead Lane.
So here I was, basically forced to walk 300 metres to get to my original destination, at almost 1 AM after having my flight delayed for almost two hours and being more than 4 in the airport. Having my flight delayed was the reason I made use of your services because there was no public bus at 12 midnight and payed 31 NZD to be dropped at an incorrect address.
I wanted to express that I am extremely disappointed by this event and the bad quality of the service received. I will not be using this company ever again and would advice everyone to steer clear from them.
Highly do not recommend this company. I booked a service to be collected from Queenstown Airport and to be dropped off at Haka Lodge in Queenstown, 15 minutes down the road. I provided flight details and paid them $30. Flight arrival was 7:40pm, they did not collect me until 11:20pm. Numerous phone calls with a unacceptable excuse. Told me to arrange only a green taxi and that they would cover it but not other taxi. There was no green taxi and after all of the stuff around I requested a refund which they refused. I wrote 3 emails with no response as they have decided to ignore me. I have wrote to the Ombudsman.
Pre-paid transfer from Christchurch airport but SuperShuttle did not turn up to meet us. Very difficult to then contact but when we eventually got through to the company we were told that they would send a taxi but that also never turned up. After wasting a lot of time at the airport we finally got a taxi ourselves, the price of which was not much more than the quoted SuperShuttle cost. The company representative, who was disinterested and quite rude, said that they would refund our money but that hasn’t happened as yet. We wish we’d never booked with the company; far better just to get into one of the many taxis waiting at the airport.
