Everything that was sent for this sauna by your company arrived in many boxes of all sizes and required extensive assembly, particularly the electrical components. Anything involving small parts, wiring, and electrical configuration has been left for the electrician to figure out on-site.
The licensed electricians we have hired have spent considerable time attempting to assemble and configure the electrical system. They have reviewed the instructions and numerous video links that were provided; however, the information is fragmented, incomplete, and difficult to follow, with one set of instructions often not corresponding to another. Despite their best efforts, they have been unable to successfully complete the installation as delivered.
They have advised that the setup requires two 120-volt blocks to create the required 240-volt service, and the current configuration is proving extremely difficult, if not impossible, to complete. They have also commented that, in their experience installing saunas, the electrical control panels typically arrive fully assembled and only require connection to the power source. Instead, they have been expected to assemble and troubleshoot the system themselves with limited and inconsistent guidance.
Quite frankly, this entire process has been extremely frustrating. This sauna was purchased as a gift in December, and here we are approaching July 1st with a product that is still not operational. After months of delays, confusion, and additional expense, our patience has been exhausted.
In addition, the sauna itself is showing signs of deterioration and it has not been assembled yet. The wood is cracking and splitting in various areas, including around the door and along the sides of the unit. Given that the sauna has not even been fully operational, we do not believe this is indicative of a quality product or one that will provide long-term durability and reliability.
At this point, we no longer wish to continue attempting to assemble or troubleshoot this product. We request that your company either provide a complete replacement unit that arrives fully assembled and ready for installation, or issue a full refund and arrange for the sauna to be removed from our property at your expense.
In addition to the purchase price, we have already spent approximately $2,000 on licensed electricians attempting to complete the installation. We have also incurred costs associated with removing landscaping and preparing the installation site.
We have made every reasonable effort to complete this installation using the instructions and materials provided, but we cannot continue to absorb the costs, delays, and inconvenience associated with a product that has never functioned as represented.
