fella didnt even put lettuce on me roll and took ages to make it if he took any longer i wouldve had to have a shave absolute disaster

Still no Gluten Free bread in Ballsbridge shop. It’s 2023, no excuse for this. Very disappointing.

I love the food but none of the Waterford city shops open past 6pm

Brought kids here today. One in carrickmines and I got a shock when I saw the prices. Should have left but did not want to disappoint the kids. 25.60 for three meals. Sorry they are not meals. They were 6 inches " of flat squashy bread with ham and cheese in them , a small cookie and a 7up ! Appalling do not go here !!!

Just need to subway in Applegreen in Jobstown and looked at the menu up high. The footlong meal is advertised as €8.70. At the check out the girl said €9.20. When I quoted her about the price an other one came over to say the price is wrong as advertised and put everything on the till spectate so now I had to pay €10.50. Disgraceful what they are doing to customers. If its advertised it should the price you pay. Won't be going back to subway again

It’s bad enough that the cost of a 6 inch Sub meal has nearly doubled in the past 4-5 years but what really takes the biscuit is that they skimp on the veg - used to be three pieces of tomato, cucumber etc on a 6 inch … now they put two pieces on the sandwich and charge you almost double.
I used to buy my lunch everyday in Subways across Dublin, that stopped about 1 year ago as the increases in price are beyond a joke!!!!

I got a job in a Subway on 41 Paul Street, Cork (Ireland) as a sandwich artist. I was on a job only for one day, when I realized that whole place is managed by familiy and they were expecting of me to be a slave. When I say I will work full time, I mean for work of 8 hours,but apparently their meaning of full time is 12 h. No one told me that on interview. Second, the husband of the menager was also woking there and told me that I have one lunch break of 30 min (afer working for 4 hours straight without taking a breath once) which is not paid, and if you eat there during bank holiday, you will not be payed duble (his words). I was very angry but needed the job, so I didn't say anything. That day is suposed to be a training, but I didn't even touched the sendwiches. I was washing dishes whole day, and doing errands. I didn't apply for the job to be a slave. After shift, that supposed to finish in 7 pm, he told me that we need to finish other stuff, but I'm not paid for overwork, not that I know of. When I told him that I'm done with cleaning, he told me that I don't need to bother coming next day. So he expect from me, on the first day, to be a leading role in the kichen and told me that person in the kichen must finish everytnig before in order to go home. You can't expect that from someone who just got there, how the hell I supposed to know where all the stuff is. And you can't hold anyone more than you should, it's inhuman. Hopefully they won't find anyone to work for them. I was really happy to get a job, but thank God I don't have to be there a minute longer.

Went to the Subway, Ballsbridge branch. I was waiting in line behind one guy. As he was leaving two guys entered the shop. I may as well have been made of glass. The owner completely ignored me and offered to serve the two guys who had just walked in. It's was obviously due to racism as the two guys just happened to have been Middle Eastern just like the owner. Needless to say I walked out and I will never go to a Subway shop again and will make sure to recommend anyone I know avoids the places.

As always great customer service ! I always get my points and always get the the nicest people, I walk in my order is already being made no need to even ask me what it is !

Recently got a SUBWAY card, purchase items, went home to register the card, and its coming up not a vallid physical card. Whats going on? If we cant depend on your cards at your cash register to be useful.

Went to the Nutgrove branch the Subs were ok, not a patch on US branches, what let them down here was they were dis-organised, no proper queue management.

They refused my wife which has disability. Had bad experience with manager and company. We were shocked after the encounter. Never again.They discriminate their clients, so not getting any business from me and they will also hear from my solicitor as well.

Not if I was starving would I go near a subway outlet, I can definitely trace my bout of food poisoning back to subway, how are they getting away with it

Subway cork road Waterford ... I went into subway today .. asked for my sub.. sub assistant never asked me if I wanted cheese went to put it in the sub heater and I had to ask her to but on cheese ..3 times she asked me did I want bacon I never said bacon ever is this lady under pressure to get rid of bacon before it goes off or what ?? In the middle of a global pandemic she had no mask on while she’s making food for others ???? Bring back roli he makes the best subs and atleast he has common hygiene ?

I love the food here. I am vegetarian and it is my favourite place to get 'fast food' and still not feel too terrible about it.
Only issue I have is that the quality of the food and restaurant can vary place to place. One time I went to a Subway in London around Westend and the guy behind the counter got very stand offish with me when he put tomatoes in that I told him I had not asked for.
The bathrooms if there are any are never in great condition, and bathrooms often affect my decision to eat in a restaurant drastically.
In Tralee there are two, the central one often hands out burned and stale bread with ingredients that have been left there for a while, while the store at manor west is much better, fresher, and most importantly cleaner, with the staff being far friendlier.
Ultimately I will keep returning to subways where I find them because I love the food and I am addicted to bread (its my cryptonite) but there are certainly some stores I aim to avoid.
the sub card is great, it takes a while to acquire points but it is great when they pay off and you get a free meal. They do not offer the entire selection of free foods for points as advertised online though so check that with the store before you order.

Subway Carrick on Shannon is my favourite place to eat when I'm out shopping in Carrick,The manager is from Pennsylvania and we always have a good chat after he has returned from his vacation back to work in subway,all food is great and all staff members are friendly.
