Composite door leak
I paid around £2,000 for a composite back door from STYLEGLAZE which was installed on 2 June 2025. Within a few months the door started leaking and I reported the issue in December 2025.
After being fobbed off with ridiculous reasons why the door was leaking, what followed was a three-month ordeal of chasing emails, waiting for responses and being told the issue was with the supplier rather than STYLEGLAZE. Eventually someone attended in February 2026, but instead of replacing parts as previously suggested, the “repair” simply involved resealing the glass with 4-5 tubes of silicone.
For a £2,000 door less than a year old, this was extremely disappointing and does not inspire much confidence in the long-term quality of the product.
The most frustrating part of this experience has been the customer service. Despite the stress, time and inconvenience involved, STYLEGLAZE refused to offer any goodwill compensation and simply stated that the matter was closed.
Even now I have no way of knowing if the problem has actually been fixed until we experience heavy rain again.
Based on my experience, I expected far better service and accountability for a company selling products at this price level.
