Very disappointing
These guys did a good job of laying the patio slabs but failed to finish off all of the job despite being paid to do so. On further investigation the concrete slab that was to be used for a shed base is not level and too rough despite informing the owner that it was to be the floor of the shed. They helped themselves to our tools: spades, brushes etc and left them muddy and outside in the rain. The stumps of the trees that they were paid to remove were not ground down. Instead of taking all the soil and rubble away they tried to hide it behind a row of trees and despite acknowledging this and promising to remove it they have failed to return to do this along with the rest of the snagging.
The workers were very pleasant on site and the owner very helpful initially but refused to answer my calls and eventually blocked my WhatsApp messages when I repeatedly asked when they were coming to finish off. So much for a five year guarantee on any work done! I would have been happy to discuss this with the owner but his lack of response has meant I have not been able to do so.
