Absolutely the worst experience. The website does not work as promised and is practically unusable. Their customer service doesn’t care and doesn’t help at all — no real support, no accountability. To make matters worse, I was billed without any prior notice. This is unacceptable and feels like a scam. I strongly recommend avoiding their service.

I signed up for StudyFetch almost a year ago, but quickly stopped using it after the core feature failed to work. Every time I tried to submit something, it gave me an error. I gave up using the platform within days and never returned - literally zero usage for the rest of the year.

Despite that, I was charged nearly $100 for a full renewal with no reminder or heads-up. I noticed the charge within hours and immediately reached out to cancel and request a refund - only to be told that their policy doesn’t allow refunds, even though I hadn’t used the product in nearly a year and contacted them the same day the payment processed.

What’s worse is that their support refused to take any of this into account - no goodwill, no empathy, no effort to actually look at usage logs or timing. Just a templated response and a link to their Terms of Service.

This is not how ethical companies operate. It’s clear they rely on people forgetting about auto-renewals in order to retain revenue, even when the customer never used the product. I’ve never experienced this level of inflexibility from any other digital service.

If you’re considering using StudyFetch, be warned: the product itself is unstable, the customer service is rigid and impersonal, and if you’re charged unintentionally - even after non-use - you’ll be stuck footing the bill. You're better giving your money to a service that a.) works and b.) doesn't run on unsatisfied customer's money.

Yet another issue with StudyFetch. Each time I write a review they email me asking for more information - which costs me more time, but I send it to them anyway. EVERY SINGLE TIME NOTHING CHANGES. The issues remain, they refuse a refund, and there is usually absolutely zero reply to my email with the issues. So, today this issues are that half of my study sets are missing, or locked and I am unable to access them. OR, the notes are incomplete - meaning that only half of the upload has notes written for it. DO NOT TOUCH STUDY FETCH - the service is getting worse, not better, they will not refund your money even though the service is getting worse (and was never completely functional), and they just do not care.

Tried it, used some course materials to build a visual and auditory content so I can understand what I am working with but then it begins to bring up topics that are completely non-existent to the course I am in. Not worth using.

I used study fetch to help create notes from PowerPoint slides and exam questions. With the notes, it would often skip content entirely, superfluous and useless info would be added into the detailed notes which would add pages unnecessarily. When i used this last year, it wouldn't recognise images, so any text embedded in a diagram or image doesn't get recognised - im not sure if that was ever fixed. Sample questions were repetitive, and the AI bot would mark me incorrect when my answer was in fact correct. I now use chat gpt to create my notes and sample qs, it is much more reliable and free!
Also be aware, the subscription auto renews without warning and they refuse to give you a refund - even if you no longer want or need the service. Their refund policy is they need to be given a chance to rectify the issue first. But that is irrelevant if you no longer want to use their services. On the upside, their customer service team was prompt and replied within 24 hours but was unable to refund me due to their policy. I am very disappointed and I feel ripped off. Surely it wouldn't impact the bottom line to refund disgruntled customers rather than get a 1 star review? There are a few POd ppl leaving bad reviews maybe it's time to revisit the refund policy!

Some of my features like the chat function does not work or respond. The audio recaps make up its own information and does not use the data from the notes. When comparing the summarised version prepared by studyfetch and the original study material, there are various discrepancies. The notes provided by studyfetch is not reliable and trustworthy and now I have to take the time in any event to go through the study material making the time saving aspect null and void.

Awful! The website can't process certain files, and when it does it's extremely slow. The content was also very average, and honestly what they provide for $20 a month is ridiculous

After sharing my comment, I was contacted with a solution and eventually received a reimbursement. It seems I initially spoke with the wrong person from the support team. I appreciate that StudyFetch took responsibility and honored their refund policy.

In early May 2025, I discovered StudyFetch while looking for a study tool to prepare for exams. The tutorials and advertised features seemed perfect, especially the ability to upload documents, generate questions in multiple languages, and get AI support tailored to my needs.

After trying the free version, I upgraded to a yearly premium subscription on 15 May (€86) because I genuinely believed in the platform’s potential.

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the start. Only two days later, I could no longer upload documents, which made most features unusable. On top of that, the platform promised language support (e.g., generating French questions from a French document), but this did not work either.

I reported these issues and received replies on 19 and 20 May, claiming the upload problem was resolved. It wasn’t — or at least not fully — and the core functionality remained broken. I kept trying different features and prompts, but the tool continued failing. For example, asking it to generate 50 questions would often result in dozens of repeated or identical questions, which defeats the point of studying.

I sent detailed emails with screenshots and explanations. On 2 June, I followed up again. On 3 June, they replied, saying they were looking into it — but then they stopped replying altogether. I sent a final message on 12 June, requesting either a solution or a refund, which they state in their Terms of Service is possible if they cannot resolve technical issues. As of 25 June, I have received no further response.

At this point, I’ve asked for a refund and even suggested they keep €7.17 (the equivalent of one month) as fair compensation. I feel let down by both the product and the customer service. It had potential, but right now, I cannot recommend StudyFetch — especially not for students relying on it during stressful study periods.

I had already cancelled my subscription but then they withdrew money from my account for 3 months. Dont trust them they are scammers!

I subscribed to studyfetch a month ago, and my experience has been incredibly disappointing. Not only was the service completely useless, but it also wasted a crazy amount of time. The AI is slow, ineffective, and takes forever to upload content. The user interface is clunky, laggy, and stacked with frustrating bugs that make the experience even worse.

To top it all off, they renewed my subscription without sending an email reminder or any form of notification. When I tried to contact their support team, I received no response, they completely ignored my emails. This level of service is unacceptable, and I would strongly advise against using this studyfetch thing...

The Study Fetch platform.... Initially i was impressed with the platform. But now that I have used it since February, I would not recommend it. The "explainers" feature really helped me because I am a visual learner, but the "Tutor Me" have never worked. The platform has answered my email. explaining that the reason why it does not work is because of high traffic. But no matter what time or day I use that feature.... it simply does not work. The "Tutor Me" was the main reason i used this platform and paid for it. Overall a 4 out of 10 for me. NOT WORTH SPENDING money on this platform

I really enjoyed using studyfetch, the flash cards were the most helpful for memorising what I needed in my finals the last 2 months.
Didn’t realise how helpful it became till after a week I started seeing results when I was doing past papers and kept getting better results

I’ve been using StudyFetch during my latenight cram sessions and honestly it’s been a lifesaver. I love that I can jump straight into summaries without reading through pages of notes. The flashcards and audio recaps make reviewing less boring and sometimes even kind of fun.

During this exam period, i have been super greatful for having this new study method. Its been fantastic, helping me become a better student Quick. The videos really helps you undestand Way better

I don't know why the app keeps crashing. I was so excited to use it but it just kept disappointing me.

My experience with StudyFetch has been wonderful, My studies have become way more easier and organised with methods such as summaries flashcards and live lectures, and I highly recommend using this app!

I have a premium subscription since the start of the year and it states unlimited Tutor Me sessions but today, when I actually needed to study with it, I found out that I am only allowed 1 session in 17 hours and even that does not work. And if I want it, I have to pay extra $30 a month.
A few weeks ago, I was having difficulties uploading documents but I brushed it off as connectivity issues.
Now, I am extremely disappointed because I have an exam tomorrow and this AI could've helped a lot. Thankfully, I can still rely on myself to study properly.
I considered paying the extra $30 but I read a review here that said that the Tutor Me does not work even after paying.
So, I created the Trustpilot account today, only to leave this review. Please DO NOT pay for this unreliable app.

This app has been a huge disappointment. It crashes constantly — sometimes right after opening, other times right in the middle of use, which makes it basically useless. I’ve tried everything: reinstalling, updating my phone, clearing the cache, and nothing fixes it.

To make matters worse, I requested a refund three weeks ago and still haven’t received anything. I even sent video evidence and screenshots showing the app crashing repeatedly, but there’s been no response or follow-up from the support team. The lack of communication is just as frustrating as the app itself.

At this point, I feel like I’ve wasted both my time and money. I don’t recommend this app to anyone until the developers get serious about fixing the bugs and supporting their users.

so basically its just like perplexity ai but worse. it always glitches out, outputs the wrong language, site always lagging etc etc. the ai is awful like straight asscheeks. i told him to do the questions for me and it just did everything wrong and i knew it because it wasnt even the same subject anymore. my input was math and the output was history. SO DONT BUY IT!!
