On Sunday, I attended the first photography workshop with Alex at Studio496. We met at a stunning location that Alex selected, which had a variety of scenes to practice our new learnt skills on. Alex started us from the basic concepts of photography, then onto using manual mode in different scenarios and building on our compositions for the perfect visual perfects. We would highly recommend a workshop with Alex at Studio496, he is knowledgeable about all aspects of photography and can help you create great images. Looking forward to our next trip out!

A fantastic photography workshop. Al selected a great location which provided plenty of challenges for the photographers. Al was very knowledgeable on what settings should be used when and how to get the most out of your camera but also the subject. Looking forward to the next workshop.

Wow, what a great choice of location, early morning walk in the sunshine.
This was the first workshop I’ve attended which was run by Alex and it was very informative, great support and tuition along the walk. I have learned to get the best out of my camera, shutter speed, light and dark, positioning yourself to get the best shot. Highly recommend Studio496 and can’t wait for the next workshop.
