While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

NEVER AGAIN.....

I've used StubHub for years to sell extra college football tickets....NEVER AGAIN.
Buyer and Seller beware: if you go to StubHub's website and search for tickets for a specific game, StubHub automatically assigns a filter to only show you tickets that their "proprietary visibility filter" has assigned a visibility score of "Recommended". This is not disclosed anywhere, to you the prospective buyer, that I could tell. Upon inquiry to StubHub, they told me that the algorithm that assigns the 'visibility score' is undisclosed and the agent cannot override it. Somehow, magically apparently, you the buyer are supposed to intuitively notice that there are filters and determine to check that area, even though you never set a filter.
For a Seller listing tickets for sale, StubHub assigns a 'Visibility Score' of either 'Hidden' or 'Recommended' to your listing, but again, will not disclose the specifics of what determines which designation a particular listing receives, other than to say that "pre uploading (upload prior to sale)" may help. That was not my experience, as on multiple listings I did in fact pre upload my tickets, received an email from StubHub confirming their receipt of the upload, but still my listing in my dashboard on their portal continued to ask me to pre upload the tickets, and showed my visibility score as "Hidden". Multiple phone calls to their customer service resulted in only frustrating experiences, including when I finally spoke with a manager.

As I Said...NEVER AGAIN!!

Scam!! Avoid at all costs!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Stubhub is the definition of a scam wrapped in a fake smile. I ordered tickets they claimed would be delivered via FedEx — spoiler alert: no FedEx, no tickets, no trace of anything but my money leaving my account.

I contacted their so-called “customer support” (read: a black hole of excuses and ghosting), and surprise, surprise — no refund, no help, just automated nonsense and radio silence. Every response felt like a bot trying to stall until you give up.

Let’s be real: we didn’t buy tickets, we made a fake company richer. They took my money and vanished like a magician at a low-budget kids’ party — poof, gone.

Save yourself the trouble. Unless your hobby is donating money to fraudsters in exchange for absolutely nothing, stay far away from Stubhub. This isn’t just poor service — it’s deliberate theft dressed up as a business.

I'm doing some work with my lawyer…

I'm doing some work with my lawyer right now. I ordered tickets from you for 350$, I flew to the event, I spent on air tickets + hotel 4000$ and I generally on the day of the event to send tickets to email, I did not receive tickets, you screwed me. We'll meet in court - it'll be a matter of principle.
