STRUGA is a brand of dark, experimental silver. Founded in 2018 by Dmitry and Ekaterina Strugovshchikov, it works in sterling silver 925 and makes objects out of it: rings, bracelets, chains, necklaces, earrings and ear cuffs. These are objects rather than accessories — things with weight, form, surface and an inner logic, made to be worn every day and through the night. The design comes from the founders; the pieces themselves are made by hand by master silversmiths in a workshop on Bali. The process is plain: a wax model, a silicone mould, silver 925, then finishing by hand. Traces of the tool and the solder seam stay visible — they are the character of the object, not a defect. The silver is left uncoated. It darkens along the hand and takes on patina: that is Living Silver, a property of the material and not a flaw. Raised edges lighten with wear, recesses go darker, and the surface becomes a map of how the piece is worn. If you want the metal brought back to light, that is done with care rather than re-plating. STRUGA does not sort objects by gender. Sizes follow the body — form, weight and fit. Most pieces are made to order and ship worldwide.
