The service provided by Stripe is quite frustrating when it comes to handling disputes. Recently, a customer claimed that their card was stolen and that someone else had made the payment for their order, even though it was delivered to the correct address. To our surprise, Stripe refunded the customer, and we ultimately lost the dispute.

We've only just installed the gateway. We tested it to see if it worked by making a payment ourselves.
Then we got two payments. When they had to pay them to us, they said that the people concerned had not recognised the payment, that
the card or bank account holder did not consent to these payments.
The man who made the payment was surprised to hear this, and in no way acknowledged that he had not consented to the payment. He was able to take possession of his money.
The second payment was made by a former payer who fell out of her skin when she heard about this and to date Stripe is still holding this she is waiting for it to be returned to her so that she can give it back to us. To date : It has never been paid to us, it has never been returned to her, Stripe is illegally holding her money.
You know what money can be used for, you invest it, you make money from other people's money.
Subject to all reservations, including further action to compel Stripe to return this money because, contrary to what they say, none of them has declared that they did not consent to the payment.
To date, they have never more replied to our emails.
