Too many negatives. Find another place.

After my introductory session, I negotiated a discounted two month program of two sessions per week.
I was not given a receipt or contract.
Later, upon checking my bank account I noticed I had been debited more than the agreed price.
After a couple of sessions, I felt pain where I felt I should not.
After extensive research, I realize that given my age (78)and my history of a total of six surgeries in the area that was being treated. I could possibly be doing more harm than benefit.
I was told by the gentleman performing my treatment that employees do not require any kind of medical background or physio training and simply take a two week crash course.
I contacted the salon manager who told me he would take care of the matter. A week later after no contact I started calling repeatedly for the next three weeks and no one answered the phone. I visited the salon and noticed the manager uses his cell phone to answer business calls thus I concluded is the reason he wasn’t answering my calls.
He blatantly told me there was nothing he could do.
Considering I had told him I no longer wanted to continue with treatments, I assumed his company had some sense of integrity and honesty thus I did not cancel my debit card. Unfortunately I was wrong and in fact, not only did they take a second months payment but increased the amount significantly.
Repeated attempts over several weeks to contact someone in upper management or perhaps Helen Martin the franchise owner were unsuccessful. I have contacted my bank to dispute and I’m hoping for a positive outcome. My advice would be.
BEWARE just say no and stay away from these people. Having read about several other negative experiences I am convinced that this company is nothing but a con job. They have no contact information for customer relations and have isolated upper management making them almost impossible to contact.
What they are doing seems almost criminal. For many I am sure stretching could be very beneficial, but the ethics of this company are such that it’s not worth the risk.

Be careful with their membership…

Be careful with their membership because they are making it hard to cancel, they wont help you so you will go over the period and they can collect money. This should be illegal and i hope someone would look into this company. I went to their physical clinics to cancel on jan 2026 the staff told me i already passes my cancellation period so i have to pay febuary, so that same day they took out 400 dollars to include febuary, what theives. So i decided to let it go and thought that me going there and they took 400 dollars, that its already cancelled but come febuary, i received a text reminding me to cancel, i was there in the clinic and tgey did not cancel but took 400 dollars, then they said i have to do an online cancelation. Their website or app does not have that option to cancel by the way, you have to call or be in person, then they will send you a link, which i never got until its almost time to pay for march. They claim they sent reminders i can prove that they did not send any reminders. Be careful with these theives.

Very dubious business policies

Very dubious business policies, very difficult to cancel membership contract after 30 days notice, uncredentialed technicians not recognized by the general medical industry, ambiguous policy terms made to deceive, did not negotiate in good faith after cancellation notice, marginal expertise in the industry. I would not recommend anyone to do business with this company especially senior citizens.

Never use this company

My mother has been trying to cancel her subscription at the Reston location since November. They keep charging her, and now she has sessions she has paid for but cannot use because she has prevented them from continuing to charge her. Their business model is unethical and customer service is poor. They may have a contract, but that doesn't mean their business practices are ethical.

I’ve had a great experience at Stretch…

I’ve have nothing but great things to say about Stretch Zone in Pikesville. The practitioner Josh is very knowledgeable and attentive, and each session he tailored to my specific needs. I walk out feeling looser, more mobile, and refreshed every time. This place has truly helped improve my flexibility and reduce tension. Definitely worth it!

Buyer Beware

Although the stretch team is great, Stretch Zone, as an organization, has terrible customer service. The subscription cancelation process is very confusing. I thought I had canceled my subscription through the app, but later found that the subscription was not in fact canceled. The manager, Ryan, was very unsympathetic and refused to give a refund. This organization must be operating on a shoe string budget, I got the sense that refunding the $240 charge was going to make or break them. Buyer beware, you will be forced to pay for sessions you never intended to signup for if you're not extremely careful.

Stretch Zone in Crofton MD not ethical

On December 29, 2024, I purchased 8 sessions for $440 with Stretch Zone at the Crofton Branch and paid with my Health Saving Account (HSA) debit card.

On January 30, 2025, there was another withdrawal of $440 from my HSA debit card even though I still had 4 sessions remaining. I called the office and was told it was their policy to automatically debit my account every month until I cancel. I immediately told them to cancel my membership since I still had 4 sessions left. The General Manager, Nik, apologize and said “that is not how we do business”, and that he would cancel my membership and I would receive a refund for the January payment.

However, on Mar 1, Stretch Zone again debited my HSA for another $440. I called the office and they assured me they would take care of it. Because I had lost confidence in Stretch Zone and the General Manager Nik, I withdrew the remaining funds from my HSA account and sure enough, Stretch Zone attempted to debit my HSA account again on Mar 27, then Mar 28 and finally Mar 29.

Once they realized they were unable to debit my account, Stretch Zone cancelled my remaining 3 sessions even though I had affectively paid for 16 additional sessions with 3 remaining.

I stopped by the office on several occasions and left notes for Nik, who was absent from the office and requested that he call. Nik never responded.
I was finally able to speak to Nik in person several days later. Nik’s comment was that he was just a middleman and that there was nothing more he can do.

On April 7, I received an email from Stretch Zone apologizing for the mistake and assuring me I would receive the entire amount of what was due to me from those three payments. As of today, January 15, 2026 I still have not received my refund.
I just filed a claim with the Consumer Protection Division in Maryland .

Based on my experience, I do not recommend the Crofton Stretch Zone.

Employee review

I am an employee and we never get paid on time. Our paychecks have been short and they haven't given us our pay stubs so we have no idea how much PTO we have. This is for the WI locations. They have clients that we should not be stretching but they don't care. Most of the employees stay because of each other and needing a job.

I had a very disappointing experience

I had a very disappointing experience. After an introductory session, I signed up for six additional sessions. Shortly afterward, my physical therapist advised me not to continue due to an existing injury.

I immediately tried to obtain a refund and made five phone calls, sent five emails, and had two discussions. Only after all of that was I told there was a 24-hour cancellation policy—something that was never clearly communicated at signup.

The organization was poor overall. My appointment started 20 minutes late, and no questions were asked about injuries or physical limitations, which felt careless for a physical service.

I would not return and would not recommend this business based on my experience.

Stretch Zoned Out —-I should have read the rest of these…

I should have read the rest of these reviews before signing up admittedly our schedules didn’t work out and I didn’t have the time to devote to it that I should have. However, like the other reviews say it’s difficult to cancel and I lost about $500 in unused credits. They told me they would give me another six months instead of 90 days cancellation but then when I went to use them, they ghosted me in my 9 o’clock appointment. The doors were locked and nobody responded to my texts. I guess I’ll have to join the class action lawsuit when it comes in the mail .

Very Unprofessional lack of service

Got my free stretch was great, but no place to put you stuff down, get some benches or tables to lay your things down. Downloaded the app, couldn't make an acct because didn't know my customer number (how would i know that?) Went to the shop, was told to use the app or call for appt. When i call, no answer, voice mail and no call back. Using the app, since i can't make an acct, registered as guest and guess what....they try to make me a member (got to give a CC). I wanted the separate sessions (2 for $65/each). While their price list shows that (its' not online took a pic of it at the salon), can't pick that in the app. This is clearly the MOST unprofessional service i have used. The stretch was good, the professionalism was terrible. I was at the colonie NY location.

BEWARE...Stretch Zone Pinellas Plaza

I've been going to Stretch Zone Pinellas Plaza in The Villages, FL for over a year...loved it, until Nick Pumroy returned as manager. He was our original stretcher-moved to Clermont and back to Pinellas. We were on a recurring payment plan and had 55 stretches in 'the bank'. The last charge was in April. On Nov 21, we were charged the recurring charge of $432 for 12 additional stretches which was supposed to be put on hold until we could revisit our future needs. I called SZ and also visited there in person and was told no problem' we can reverse the charge. Third attempt, I sat with Nick and he claimed that was the 1st he'd heard. He sent me an email showing refund and cancelled the recurring charge account-email said remaining visits had to be used in 3 mos. Over a week has passed since my one on one with Nick-no refund and there are 0 visits available in my account. Something very fishy going on here...not happy AT ALL! Buyer beware!

Sales will TELL YOU that you can cancel…

Sales will TELL YOU that you can cancel on the app anytime. That is NOT TRUE. When signing up you don't get a copy of the contract. You have to beg for weeks in order to get it. Cancelling your membership means that you will be jerked around for weeks before anyone responds via email. Then you you cancel via the link they will take another week or two to confirm. Then when you're trying to use the pre-paid final visits the application will disconnect you. FOR FAULTS SAKE. At this rate the place will be out of business by Mid summer.

F for CUSTOMER SERVICE

The service itself is good if you have a well-trained practitioner. Look for people with a background in personal training and/or other disciplines of body practice.

The business practice and customer service are well below modern standards. For example, even though they bill you online, you cannot cancel online. In my case, after 6 months at their highest tier of membership I wrote that I wanted to cancel future billing because my schedule had changed and I had enough sessions for the remainder of the year. I was immeditately told, sorry, we billed you two days ago but we’re going to bill you one more time — you signed a contract. Rather than express sorry to hear that, or can we find an alternative together or — you’ve been a good customer, I’ll ask the management to waive the final charge… straight to “you signed the policy.” It was abrupt, rude, and not the level of customer service one can expect for a $500/month membership. The manager/management does not care about customers, only about charging as much as they can. The service isn’t good enough to warrant the attitude. Stay away.

Rip off

They took my money for an advanced package. Every time I make a appointment, they canceled it the next day. I cannot get them to answer their phone. When I go there, they are closed. One time from a human being he said he would take care of it and he never did Now when I try to make an appointment I am blocked. They owe me money and refused to contact me. Stay away from them. This is the Kildeer store.
