Food exceptional, front of house very poor
Saturday lunch.
Service poor to be honest, food sublime, reasonably priced
Need to sort out the interface between the kitchen and customer as is really lacking. Also given the unique nature of the food the staff need to be able to converse clearly about the dishes. Compared to other high end eateries this is way off the mark.
Kept banging on about the concept of the restaurant but without the service the concept is pointless from an experience perspective.
If I owned this restaurant I would be looking to strnongly improve the front of house operations as there is a real risk that all the effort in the menu and food will not be rewarded with the all important Michelin stars. If I was a reviewer I would be concentrating strongly on this aspect and currently they are well off the mark.
If you want to spend £120 on lunch for 2 currently I would go elsewhere in London and given it was quite I hate to think how over whelmed they would be at dinner.
Time to bed in given not open a year yet and given the food I'll be back in a couple of years to see if they've ironed out the customer service side.
