Where do you start with Ebay

Where do you start with Ebay? Great if you want to off load some unwanted items but not so great if you want a decent price for them. Then there's the enormous aftersales charge, which I believe is 30% not including the postage label. Ebay, in my view has become too complex; it gets somewhat confusing on their seller's page. there's just too much going on. Don't even try to contact them, that's when it gets really frustrating and stressful. If you only want to sell clothing items then go to Vinted, much easier and what you make is all yours. And another thing, do they pay taxes in UK?

E bay Blues

Locked out of my account, customer for 15 years;given an American telephone number (I am in the UK) to contact . Used the online helpline in India I think . They said I would get a telephone call, but faulty phone but it was replaced but no phone call. Online chat abruptly terminated twice (an OAP I am a very slow typist and I have to gather my thoughts) with me having to repeat the same story. This is kick em in the teeth capitalism at its worst do they give a toss - no.

Why can I no longer speak phone eBay

Why can I no longer speak phone eBay? I have done hundreds of transactions on eBay with only a few problems but now they seem to be robbing me of £46and I can't speak to them. I am disgusted and seriously thinking of closing my account.

Terrible customer service.

Shocking robbing company! I have been doing eBay for many years however the new policies are terrible - sold an item, buyer wanted to return, paid for label - however several hours later eBay simply sent a refund despite me following all the return details correctly - what was the point of purchasing and uploading a return label if eBay simply go over your head anyway. Impossible to contact them too!!

Robert is magical healing professor definitely not a hacker. He healed my good tanned friends back and closed demon portal, then had a smoke and a 💩 while playing his magical flute. Thank you Robert magical healer, sex magician and student of sun god ra . Also I brought your cd you sell on your website , the one with the healing sounds , I listen to it at work and everything asked me what this wonderful sounds . I said it’s Robert the Greatest Shaman to ever live , they then all brought the cd . And then they all had lovely tracks Thank you Robert

The packing was very good no damage all we did was unpack it and found it wasn’t working we did nothing to it. Ebay dident want to talk to us and any resolution was cancelled by ebay. Buyers be wear when buying via ebay authentication process, the seller on this occasion was excellent Ebay did give any consideration to our problem their customer service is none existent i for one will avoid purchasing from ebay in the future.the watch is now back with seller they are going to look into the problem but they advise us Ebay have washed their hands of it got money that’s all they are interested in

Egregious Ebay

Bought a watch in April from ebay, through emmys_4596.

Ítem No. 125231068244

It is a WITHINGS move health watch. It should have a 12 month battery guarantee, and it is faulty. Contacted WITHINGS and they say the battery is defective and EBAY is NOT an approved WITHINGS supplier.

So why are EBAY allowing dodgy dealers-emmys_4596 will not respond-to sell items that are
NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

EBAY refuse to intervene saying it is out of their 30 day guarantee.

How is one supposed to be a clairvoyant and see into the future.

Bad form EBAY, you should not be encouraging dodgy dealers🤔

Shall report on Facebook and to Office of fair trading

ZERO STAR. DO NOT USE EBAY TO SELL! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

ZERO STAR! DO NOT USE EBAY TO SELL! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

I have had an issue with my account for about 6 months now where it asks you to verify your email. Once you recieve a code to your email I input this into ebay to verify and an error always occurs. I must have tried this about 50 times.

To get around this I then click the back button and it automatically signs me in. I am still able to buy products.

Now the problem is it is impossible to sell anything upon clicking the approve listing button because it redirects you to a page to verify your date of Birth and banking details. These are all in 3 stages and on the last stage it states

"Something went wrong. Please try again later."

Raised 1st ticket no. 1-437534423589 on the 16th May

Raised 2nd ticket no. 1-437829739408 on the 18th May

Raised 3rd ticket no. 1-438860140646 on the 24th May

Was promised each ticket would be resolved in 48 hours

8 days later from the first ticket, no email and nothing has been done at all.

Spoken with 7 representatives in total already and all keep repeating opening tickets but there is NEVER AN OUTCOME WITH THE TICKETS.

AVOID THE HASSLE AND SELL YOUR ITEMS ELSEWHERE. YOU WILL GO AROUND IN CIRCLES WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I WOULD ADVISE READING THE OTHER NEGATIVE SELLER REVIEWS TOO

Very poor service from eBay

This review is based on my most recent experience (in the past I have used eBay without issue). I ordered and paid for an item which over a month later still hadn't arrived, so I asked the seller. The seller replied that the courier showed the item as delivered. (This seller has a 100.0% Feedback rating.) The seller then passed on the issue to eBay. eBay say 'the case is resolved; you will not receive a refund' - I appealed, and got the same response.

Failure to deliver within a reasonable time and after the agreed deadline is a breach under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This is nothing but theft, and I am extremely dissatisfied to say the least.

Never using eBay ever again!

Never using eBay ever again!
I sent the purchased item immediately, over a month later the buyer opened a dispute without me knowing. eBay is not only charging me but has sent it to their debt collectors! I have proof I sent the item but eBay doesn't even want to see it.

How can I possibly be charged for fulfilling my duty as a seller perfectly?? Utter disgrace.

eBay UK are FANTASTIC when there are no…

eBay UK are FANTASTIC when there are no problems with buying. When problems arise, eBay are a DISASTER. An unmitigated disaster. They offer details of refunds if things go wrong and state they will ensure buyers don't lose out... absolute tripe! Trying to get help from their chat system is a nightmare of epic proportions. Even once connected to a rep nothing improves. Their reps spin yarns faster than the cotton industries. Their reps try everything they can think of in the hope customers don't bother pursuing the claim for refunds. Have they been trained to do this? Their promises are worthless and one has to also keep repeating, over and over again, what has already been said in previous contacts. The system is beyond frustrating. They also ask buyers to print their own return forms. Why do they think everyone has access to a printer? Instead of taking the responsibility for rogue sellers and (in some cases) inferior goods they push it back onto the buyer. These tactics are simply designed to frustrate even more in the hope that the buyer disconnects and accepts defeat. Even pointing out that the seller is in breach of UK law means nothing to them. The buyer ends up out of pocket and is left bewildered and dismayed that a company that is supposed to be World Class is the total opposite.

Rude Customer Service

Rude Customer Service. Awful experience with ebay in general. Holding on to my refund from a 3rd party. The Customer service man was breathing down the phone and talking to me like I was stupid. Never again will I be buying from this shamble of a company. If I could give no stars I would.
