No confirmation email, no order number, card charged an expensive amount. Seems to me this Company is on sketchy legal ground here.
People need these things for study, exams etc - this is a real pain.
Poor customer service
Bought a notebook which lasted a few pages before it started to fall apart, I made a complaint to which they acknowledged. I then sent pictures of the notebook and also the product number, I also sent a brief description. In the description because I wasn't sure of the size of notebook I made it clear I only believed it was a certain size but I sent pictures and the product number anyway. They sent a replacement out but what arrived was the wrong product. I got back in contact they then blamed me for providing the wrong information. I proceeded to reply stating I had sent them the pictures plus product number so how could they get in wrong. They have not replied any further. Poor customer service, the notebooks are not cheap either.
No product, no refund, just frustration
Made an order on the 24th of November. Never received it - have EVRI tracking saying not delivered. Meanwhile, moleskine insist it has been delivered and have so far not issued a refund.
Avoid this company like the plague.

Moleskine: like moles have gone deep underground, avoid at all cost
This company should be closed down, a total scam. I bought £140 personalised notebook, which arrived, but which was not personalised.
After jumping through several hoops to return within 14 days, track return etc.(costing another £30 ) .
They have not refunded me anything.
I have now spent £ 170 .
They do not return e mails, they promise to call back with 2 working days, nothing at all.
Total scam company.Avoid, Avoid, Avoid, any on line purchases.
Really upsetting experience...they have stolen my money, made even more distressing as the personalised notebook was supposed to be a very special present for someone

Faulty Diary (£34). Only way to contact Moleskine is via the website. Automated reply saying they will contact with in 2 days. Nothing happened. Email again, no reply. Email again. No reply. You can't return to a store. There is no phone number. DO NOT BUT MOLESKINE ON LINE. Totally hopeless company.
I purchased the Sakura edition notebook…
I purchased the Sakura edition notebook and some charms on a Monday, and the next Monday my order arrived! I got in touch with the customer service over email and instagram messages and I received a response on both platforms within a day. I was worried that my order has shipped but the tracking wasn’t updating, turns out orders are sent from Italy which I wasn’t aware of but the customer team informed me quickly and my order arrived in the next few days. It might be an older production, but the page quality of the Sakura notebooks is very good, and the charms are high quality & easy to assemble too :-) overall I had a really positive experience and would recommend the online store.
Why would you compromise paper quality
I would have ranked Moleskine in my most beloved brands and have bought a diary every year for the past 10 years. This year they have gone for cheaper quality paper and the ink now bleeds through the page. I feel so annoyed that a quality company would ruin their product like this.

Ordered pen refills which the website claims fit all Moleskine pens, which was not the case when we received them; did not fit our Moleskine pens. Can't initiate return online and instructions that came with the package said to call customer service number for returns. When tried to call the phone number was a non-working number. Eventually reached out to them via online inquiry. Had to pay for return shipping and provide them with tracking number. Refused to reimburse shipping despite false advertising. Great products but would not order from this store again.

Selling out of stock items; really?
I ordered some items during the sales, and received a confirmation email. After a few days, I received another email saying the order is cancelled due to SOME items being out of stock. Really? What is wrong with their stock management that they sell out of stock items? And why not partial order fulfilment? Probably to save on postage. Very poor customer service.
Return process bogus
Purchased online in pounds, shipped from uk. Return item needs to be sent to Italy at 50% of the cost of item. Not fair. Only buy if you have no doubt that you’ll keep the thing.

Worst company ever ! Placed an order before Christmas and still hasn’t arrived . Their customer care service in non-existent. I have written countless emails and made phone calls - no one ever replies. They have basically stolen my money. Will never be purchasing from them again !

Ordered a diary on 7th December - I thought in plenty of time for a Christmas present. Now 31st December - still no delivery. When I checked the 'status' - still with sender. Not been shipped - no explanation and have tried contacting MOLESKINE on multiple occasions - to no avail. Do not order from this company. A scam.

Seriously, if you are reading this and looking to buy a journal, there are better options than Moleskine, but I found this out all too late! I took some consolation that I was not the only victim.
The quality of the product was poor, and the elastic band came loose from one if its attachments after 3 days. The other end of the elastic band is still firmly attached to the book, so I no longer have a journal anymore but an elasticated Yo-Yo. This is an organisation too arrogant to acknowledge its own faults. Rather ironic that within each product you are provided a pamphlet extolling their own virtues of 'quality control'. You are even invited to report if it does not meet these expectations by providing a unique quality control number that serves absolutely no purpose, as when providing it to the business and its representatives, they just ignore it.
I'm also surprised such a financially rich organisation, flowing in profits has a sub-standard IT architecture. You can't reply to their emails because "they don't receive them" (they don't give you an email address to respond to), and your only other means of communication is an online form as if registering for a Newsletter (of course this is all intentional and serves to undermine customer resolution and satisfaction when poor service and quality is actually provided). But I wouldn't worry about that, the agents are well trained in obfuscating the truth in many languages and keeping your money for poor quality products!
