Absolute waste of time from start

Absolute waste of time from start. I joined their Business option and ordered a laptop.
Ordering was not straightforward. It was a hicup after another. I was unable to even open the Business Account online, they helped my on the phone. Could be my browser, but works fine elsewhere.
The links I received with quotation didn' t work and wasted another day trying to order. When I ordered finally, DPD failed to deliver: the reason , the package was damaged and the driver refused to take it from HP.
I struggled to find someone at HP to discuss the situation, Their Supporrt CHAT link did not work in my Chrome browser,I had to try on different browser , they asked if I prefer refund or waiting 3-7 days for new stock.
I take my money back thank you very much. I only hope it will be in my account soon. I'd rather pay extra to Currys or someone else.

I decided to remove another star. It's taken HP 3 weeks to process the refund when the order was not even delivered to me.
I received an email with a credit note today 21 days later. I had to wait 20 minutes to speak to someone who confirmed this means the refund has been sent to my bank and it may take my bank up to 7 days to receive the refund.
Absolute joke, every single step has gone as bad as it can.

Terrible company to order from

Terrible company to order from

Ordered a 4220e printer, kept rebooting everytime I tried to print something, or just seemed to randomly reset.

Tried numerous times to get it working, eventually they offered a replacement.

They stated the courier company had attempted delivery, but no one had knocked at my door.

Trying to sort this collection out as well is a pain.

If this fails again today just going to get a refund and order from a vaguely competent company, HP are utterly useless!

Was trying to get a project started off I was really looking forward to doing and now because of this I cant, thanks a lot HP (the most unreliable hopeless company I've ever come across!)

I bought an HP laptop directOne Year of Failed Repairs – HP Laptop Still Broken, Customer Support a Disasterly from HP…

I bought an HP laptop directly from HP Germany and it has been the worst customer experience I’ve ever had.

For over a year, my laptop has had serious technical problems (ticket #5148549899). Multiple engineers have come to my home, but the problem has never been fixed – in fact, since the last visit the laptop now crashes every 15 minutes and is almost unusable.

I have spent countless hours on the phone and writing emails, often being passed between departments with no real solution. Yesterday alone I spent two hours on calls just to get someone scheduled to come – and I even missed a full day of studying because the device failed again.

HP offered me 30% compensation, but only after I pushed them for months. They also suggested returning the laptop for a refund – which would leave me with no computer at all, even though I bought this device to start an expensive and time-consuming course. This is simply unacceptable.

HP’s customer service and escalation process are completely incompetent. Promises are made (like manager callbacks or senior engineer visits) but not kept. Emails are not read carefully, and communication failures are constant.

This has caused me a year of frustration, wasted time, and real harm to my studies. I now urgently need a working laptop, and HP still cannot deliver.

⚠️ Important for others to know: Under UK consumer law, customers are entitled to compensation if a product is faulty and not repaired or replaced within a reasonable time. HP may try to dismiss this, but buyers should be aware of their rights.

If you value your time, money, and peace of mind: do not buy from HP. Their products are unreliable and their support is among the worst I’ve ever encountered.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - 1 month to receive order

I ordered a customized laptop from HP on 8-28-2025. No where during the process was there any indication of delivery timing. I made the mistake of assuming it would be no more than a few days. I used to work for a computer manufacturer that offered custom PCs. We would manufacturer bare bone devices and ship them to the US in bulk for quick customization of options. After all, its only Ram, HD, and Processor model that are options which must be physically installed.

After I placed the order, I received an email notifying me the order is received with an expected ship date of Sep 16th. A note underneath "United States Customs clearance may add 1 day to the estimated delivery for customized and build-to-order PCs." Well here we are Sep 19 and my computer has been in hold by US customs since Sep 13th because according to Fed Ex. "Clearance instructions from the importer are required. Recommended action: Importer must provide instructions.

Customer has requested non-express clearance.
Recommended action: No action required at this time."

I tried cancelling the order and was told I would have to pay a 15% restocking fee. I am contacting my credit card company to dispute the fees.

Ordered the laptop on 31/08/2025

Ordered the laptop on 31/08/2025. Today is 19/09/2025. Still not delivered, should have been delivered on the 03/09. The company does not apologise, does not help. The only offer from support after 2 weeks, do you want to cancel the order. Raised support case. No response, though they should have responded after 48 hours. Nothing. Tried to contact them on chat again, they now does not assign anybody to me as soon as I put my email. It just says, all consultants are busy. May be they blacklisted my email in their system.

Please be WARNED

UPDATE: Well, I finally got this issue resolved! Apparently, one of the problems was that HP wasn't getting my emails. I just don't know/understand why that was happening. Eventually, a really nice HP guy took ownership of the issue and sorted it out.

Please be WARNED: 'HP's Price Guarantee' found on their website...

I bought a new OMNIBOOK 5 from 'HP Store UK', and two days after receiving it, the price dropped by £100! I have spent over a week trying to get HP to honour their commitment to the 'Price Guarantee'. I have had multiple phone calls to Sales and Support lines, plus emails to all of the following contact points: ukstore.postsales", "hpstoresalesuk", "hpstore-uk"

I supplied FULL invoice details and a datestamp screenshot of the website price drop to all the email contacts. I have had NO reply whatsoever from HP, even though I have email delivery receipts for all the emails sent.

The contact phone numbers given to me by HP Support Lines are just not helpful in any way, with the HP Agent/Advisor saying they cannot help. Resulting in me just being given the "telephone runaround", we've all experienced this, I am sure.

I am disgusted with HP over this and truly feel scammed by them in every sense of the word.

I have deleted my previous 5-star HP review published 3 or 4 years ago from Trustpilot, as HP is now not the same company.

Post Sales Line Not Working

Yesterday, I ordered an HP laptop from your online store via Klarna, but I noticed that the order was placed twice.

I cancelled one of the orders after receiving the confirmation email (Order Number: SCEO19297754), but I want to ensure that both duplicate orders are fully cancelled so I am not charged twice.

I have called your support line twice and waited for over 30 minutes each time, but I was unable to speak with an agent.

I purchased a PC and within a month it freezes and stop working. I bought an expensive device with good features and reasonable reviews for an online exam. Now it's not working and I tried to contact HP 100s of times by every possible method but no response. My exam is in 10 days time and I don't know what to do.

If I could I would give HP zero stars

If I could I would give it zero stars.
I ordered a pc on 4th September last week and the order summary said ‘next day delivery’.
Foolishly, I imagined that it would be delivered the next day, as per eg Amazon.
But no, it appears it means ‘next day after we have got round to processing your order’
My order was placed 5 days ago, and apart from an email confirming the order I have heard nothing. The ‘track my order’ just says ‘processing’ so I asked for an update on 6th Sept which was ‘due within 48hrs’ but 96 hrs have passed and still nothing. The HP store chat bot is woefully over-subscribed (you are 25th in a queue). The HP store customer service number (+44 (0) 20 7660 3859) says ‘due to unforeseen circumstances we are not taking calls’. In other words no way of checking order status.
Altogether one of the worst customer experiences I have ever encountered? HP: WHAT is going on??

Needs to be no stars

Needs to be no stars! I ordered an ink cartridge 10 days ago and was told it would arrive in 2 days. It hasn’t arrived, there has been no reply to my emails and it’s impossible to get through on the phone. HP have my money but I will have to order ink from elsewhere.

Absolutely appalling customer service

Absolutely appalling customer service. Laptop is faulty, WhatsApp customer service team will not help you after 4pm as they close at 6 and ‘they wont have time to help’. Phone team not much better. Laptop went to repair centre eventually and came back with the exact same fault. Trying to get a new repair booked has taken over a week and I’m still no further forward. I use this laptop to assist with my work as Treasurer for a charity and it’s beyond frustrating. Would never buy another product from them again!

Very poor service

Very poor service. Placed my order for a laptop, bag, mouse and extended warranty on 19th August 2025.
It’s now 29th and still no update on shipping.
Customer service said they couldn’t understand it and that the warehouse had failed to respond to their requests for an update so they were gonna email a supervisor.
I went back onto chat to cancel the order and was told it was due to be shipped today 29th August. It’s now end of day on the 29th and it still hasn’t shipped.
If it’s this difficult to purchase an item I can only imagine how difficult it will be to get any sort of warranty help.
Save your time, money and stress levels and purchase another brand locally

Never again...

Never again.... I bought an ALL IN ONE OMNI STUDIO.. the best one out there currently and most expensive. It broke down within 48hours. HP support wanted me to do a master reset and asked me to go and buy a memory stick to do it..I asked for a replacement (as my work IT said this should not be happening on a new machine). I cancelled the replacement after i got angry with their call centre staff who refused to help. They still havent bothered collecting their own faulty machine.. I was told its only parcel force that can collect and its now the third time I am having to rearrange collection as the first 2 times they just did not bother coming. I called today to alert them to collect but HP said we cant do anything if they dont collect and I would have to rearrange again if they dont bother... that just left me really angry.. Why should I be the one having to chase them to collect their own parcels. its just ridiculous. I complained to their call centre staff. The gentleman rudely said do what you want. I dont care. Apparently the call centre is based in Barcelona (thats what he said) but I just got staff with Indian accents who were extremely rude and told me to do what the hell I wanted. They refused to put me through to a manager in the UK and they dont have a call centre in the UK. I said I hope the calls are recorded and he said no and laughed it off... I am now at my wits end with these people. If you want peace of mind dont bother .... at least your local currys has someone you can physically deal with and talk to.... and are based in the UK. PS I am still waiting for them to collect their faulty item 2 weeks on.. and yes I have still not received my refund of over 1500 GBP and I am chasing them... and yes they refused to refund me in the interim even though I said I am having to pay interest on my credit card for an item due a refund! what an absolute joke...

Worst Customer Service !

Hp Care Pack Registration – Wrong Serial Number Issue:
I am writing this feedback as an extremely disappointed customer. For the last five months, I have been trying to get a simple issue resolved. Wrong serial number registered with 3 Years Hp Care Plan and I have provided the correct serial number by phone, email and chat support several times with all the documents and images of the printer with the correct serial number.

I have contacted sales, post-sales, and technical teams through phone calls, live chat, and multiple emails. Every single time, instead of taking responsibility, Hp agents have simply pushed the matter to another department. I have been given different phone numbers, many of which are non-functional or lead me back into the same endless loop of unhelpful transfers.

Not a single representative has taken ownership of my case. This has resulted in a complete failure on HP’s part to deliver even the most basic standard of customer service. For a brand of HP’s reputation, this is both shocking and deeply disappointing.

After months of wasted time and effort, I still have no resolution. The lack of accountability, ineffective communication, and repeated misdirection has completely eroded my trust in HP.

At this point, I expect immediate escalation to a senior manager who can take responsibility and resolve my issue without any further delays. If this does not happen, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter outside HP through consumer protection channels and share my negative experience publicly.

I sincerely hope HP will finally take responsibility and resolve this long-standing issue.

This HP laptop gives lots of problems and poor customer support

HP laptop has a lot of issues. It runs slowly, the battery drains quickly, and both the keyboard and screen are disappointing. Worst of all, customer support was nearly useless when I reached out for assistance. I regret not choosing a different brand. Given the price I paid, I expected much better reliability and performance. I would not recommend HP.

Didn't ship on time, agreed to cancel then didn't, now im waiting weeks

I ordered an item that showed available for fast shipping. Order confirmation email gave estimate of 19th. Didn't ship and on 18th showed stock issue but kept delivery estimate as 19th. Called on 19th to cancel if not shipped in 24 hours. Said it wouldn't be so accepted cancellation. It then shipped the next day and now have to wait for them to put in a claim, take it to post office and wait 8 days from then. Oh and also their support system is a mess and its not clear that you cant use chat or what's app for orders and they give you an incorrect number.
