Very big delay - very high price
Very big delay, in an unacceptable way, something that had never happened in previous transactions with you. Also, EXCESSIVELY HIGH price. In a period (February 3rd, 2026) when the average price, per kilo of silver, including VAT was around +_ €3000, you charged me €4000!!!

5 Perth Mint gold bar "With Certified"
I purchased five gold bars from the Perth Mint labeled "With Certified," but there was nothing to certify their authenticity. Given the huge number of fakes in circulation, this could have caused problems if I wanted to resell the bars at retail.
However, StoneX assured me they would be willing to certify the bars' authenticity if the buyer had any doubts. And more, they removed the "With Certified" designation from their website.
For this, they definitely deserve 5 stars.

The product you ordered is investment gold, which is VAT-exempt. While taxes generally apply to so‑called “white metals” such as silver, this is not the case for investment gold. In your situation, the import charges were applied incorrectly by the shipping carrier and were neither charged, declared, nor controlled by StoneX Bullion. As this matter was handled by the carrier, it was unfortunately outside of our control.
We have already contacted you directly and remain in active exchange to support you in obtaining a refund for the incorrectly applied charges. Delivery postponed 2 months
I ordered some gold, in their website they showed they had stock and delivery date 2-3 weeks. It was delivered 2 months later, so clearly they didn't have stock so false advertisement. Although order was finally delivered but customer service did not help at all when I complained. When your spent a big amount of money I don't understand how they can provide such bad customer service.

They Don't Honor The Contract.
I ordered gold on 1-18-26 and StoneX received my bank transfer the next day. I live in Portugal and their website states they ship to Portugal and it accepted my address. What their website didn't say is that they will not ship to the Azores.
Seven days after placing my order, StoneX sent me an email that my order had shipped. I subsequently received an email from UPS with a tracking number.
Four days later, on Jan. 30th, StoneX sent me an email that my order had been cancelled. That was 12 days that they held onto my money while the cost of gold went up.
I subsequently ordered the same items from their competitor, Celticgold.eu, and I received my shipment, without issue, within 3 business days.
While I find StoneX' handling of this matter very unprofessional, Celticgold, on the otherhand, was very professional, easy, very quick and even better pricing. Celticgold is now my "go to" for buying gold.
As a retired seller on Amazon for over 10 years, i find StoneX' customer service to be unacceptable and they should be ashamed. If a company does not want to ship to the islands or only wants to ship to the mainland then it's their responsibility to state so on their website. It's not rocket science. Otherwise it's false advertising and I would not have wasted my time.
UPDATE: 2-19-26. StoneX called me on 2-18-26 to so call "make it right" although they stated they still could not send me anything. Let's be clear, they CAN send me shipments - THEY JUST DON'T WANT TO. I got the distinct impression they were trying to get me to change my review. I subsequently disconnected the call as I was disgusted.

We currently do not ship to the Azores due to insurance and logistics restrictions, and our checkout system is designed to block such destinations. In this case, the address format entered allowed the order to pass our automated validation as mainland Portugal.
When you subsequently contacted us requesting delivery to a restricted island territory, we immediately informed you that we are unfortunately unable to ship there. We offered alternative solutions, including delivery to an eligible mainland address or a full refund in this case.
We also acknowledge that an automated shipping notification was generated during internal processing, which understandably caused confusion. This should not have occurred, and we sincerely apologize for that error.
As shipment to the requested destination was not possible and no eligible alternative delivery address was confirmed, the order was cancelled and the refund processed accordingly. We also made further efforts to explore a mutually satisfactory resolution. Situations like this are taken seriously, and we continuously review our systems to prevent similar misunderstandings in the future.
