As an adobe contributor, I'm worried and tense because my 4 years work and struggles went within a second with just an email for Adobe stock. Such an horrible experience.

Frequent crashes and bad business practices.

Frequent crashes. Underhanded business practices.

It's a shame what's happened to a once great company. I've noticed in the past 3 years products are getting slower and more buggy with frequent crashing.

Meanwhile, their business units continue to be more difficult and scammy outsourcing billing to India where they try to charge you the full yearly amount for a monthly subscription when you try to cancel.

Another debacle was when I tried Adobe Stock for free and then they tried to charge me for a year's subscription as soon as it ended. When I tried to cancel the cancellation fee was almost the year's value and they made it very difficult. Not only that they divided my enterprise account into separate free and paid accounts ruining all my CC cloud libraries and connected features.

When I complained on the forum and with support they said there was nothing they could do as the system was set up that way and I had to contact my internal IT supervisor. When another user had a similar issue as mine on the forum they admonished both of us for being the problem and to stop spreading negativity.

It's clear they don't care about the customers anymore and value gipping their users into every last nickel to prop up their purchases like Figma and cushy top-level management compensation tied to stock.

Stay away from this scammers

Stay away from this scammers. It showed me a button saying that I would get a 10 images free trial, I pressed it and it signed me into a one year contract and charged me.

I reached out to them immediately and took me 1 hours and half to cancel cause they keep insisting on keeping the membership I didn't want or signed up for active.

In the end, they canceled and said " Also initiated the refund of USD 29.54
as a goodwill gesture which will credited to your saved payment method with Adobe within 5 to 7 business days." are you freaking kidding me, goodwill gesture? is my money and I didn't signed up for this, what do they mean by goodwill gesture, seriously?

Just stay away from this scammers, go to Dreamstime instead, lots of the same images of all the other sites at a super affordable price.

Adobe stock is a SCAM

Adobe stock is a SCAM. I got the annual billing (around £20 a month) and because I haven't used the service for 2 months I wanted to cancel and get a refund. Even though I haven't used ANY of the assets available, they still didn't want to give me a refund and wanted to charge me a cancellation fee. In the end Adobe stole £40 from me and the moment I cancelled the service I not longer can access the assets they provided. Horrible service, deceiving the client and benefitting over our heads.

Got suckered into a 12 months…

Got suckered into a 12 months subscription after missing the free trial cut off date. Accumulated 120 assets and due to lack of variety on the platform, only used 25 credits- upon cancelling my service I found out that I would loose the assets ive paid for and there is not a dam thing that I can do about it accept to continue the subscription. Online and phone customer care was absolutely shocking and no one wanted to help- only upsell me on a service I am clearly not using. Disgraceful and disappointing. Save your money people- so many better options for stock images!

Customer Service Very Poor

Customer Service very poor unless you're leaving them when they will talk to you sometimes. I have a technical problem and there is no useful way of addressing this with them. Chat doesn't work and there is no phone or email version. The forum is worse than useless. It is SO disappointing as the product is good. But gosh the service that backs it up is dreadful.

Absolutely shoddy service from Adobe…

Absolutely shoddy service from Adobe stock, I ticked the free trial, I wish I hadn't. I have been charged twice for a service i never used and now a penalty of £119 for cancelling the policy. Please avoid Adobe Stock! It is like pulling teeth to get any support, I typed to a virtual assistant that explained that I would receive a refund and my account was cancelled....... obviously that was not the case.

Don't Get Sucked In!

Don't get sucked in. Trial period isn't long enough to really determine if it's a service you'll use. I would highly recommend NOT using it if you aren't a professional designer or editor in need of stock footage on a weekly bases. You'll end up paying a huge cancellation fee if you decide it's not for you!

Adobe will try every trick in the book…

Adobe will try every trick in the book to get their hands on your hard earned money. Locking you into terms and conditions through free trials; theres a good reason why they are villified throught the internet in creative communities. their subscription model is also a rip off. look elsewhere for superior alternatives or free software that is almost as good.

Worst scam

Worst scam - signed up for free trial, but without knowing it signed me up for a yearly stock subscription. I found out and wanted to exit, but that would cost me $400, and would loose all credits. I was almost crying.

Problem solved: Then I realised I could just change to another cheaper plan, and then I could cancel that plan right away.

What everyone else said and more!

What everyone else said and more!

1. Misleading 12 month contract after free trial

2. Colossal fee to cancel early

3. Loss of all unused assets after cancellation

4. I spoke to customer services via the chat option twice, each time being disconnected after rejecting their offer and asking for contact info for their complaints department. By law, every company needs to have a complaints handling procedure, but I guess thats pretty difficult if there is no way of leaving a complaint.

5. THIS is the kicker. Upon cancellation request on the website, there was an offer button presented to me for 60 days free. To anyone reading the offer it looks like 60 days added to the contract in order to have more time to use up unused assets. Just to be sure, I contacted customer services via chat once again. Turns out that accepting the 60 day free offer signs you up to ANOTHER 12 month contract!

People seem to misunderstand what Adobe Stock is

People seem to misunderstand what Adobe Stock is for and how it works. its a subscription service where you get access to tons of useful images, templates, illustrator designs. it makes no sense to use it if you just need a couple of pictures (that's what google is for) but as a hobby or professional designer it is an absolute essential tool, and good value if you make use of it.

Very shady policies

Very shady policies. If at anytime you wish to cancel your subscription they make you forfeit all unused licenses that you have already paid for. How is this not considered theft!? Don’t waste your money.

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company, they are just trying to scam your money. I had annual plan subscribed and January I stopped using it and it got renewed in April which I did not notice. I paid for the service I didn't use for the last 7 months and now I realized this service I was subscribed to and they are making me to pay for the early cancellation fee. There are lots of good other substitute, stay away from this company.

Adobe stock is a SCAM

Adobe stock is a SCAM! I just fulfilled my one year annual subscription (tricked into signing up as free trial, cancel anytime ) of $400+ Canadian dollars for photos that are sub par and quite literally unusable in a professional projects.
I don’t know who I should report them to but they should be shut down.

One of worse services of human history

Extremely expensive service. They also made blackmail to me, saying that ALL the resources that I paid for in the last 2 years would be canceled if I delete my subscription, and even if I had credits for 102 pictures more (which I paid 30€ per month for), they would cancel the credit, and they would also apply a fine of 45€ if I cancel my subscription.
THIS IS A SCAM! The world need to know about it!
I have ALL EVIDENCES TO SUPPORT WHAT I AM SAYING AND I HAVE SCREENSHOTS!
