Everything since I moved in 2017 I told the council I had mould and they told me it was condensation, even though it was all over my mattress and carpet. We are now in 2025 and it's now black mould and Im disabled. I went out and bought a new b d and mattress that cost me over 1K. I had to throw that out because that also is full of mould. I've reported the toilet which is a wet room for the toilet blocking up about 6 times in just over a year. The dude came and fitted new pipe covers. He didn't apply any sealant so now they are rotted with shit water. My windows are always full of condensation even in the summer. I reported flooding in my living room in 2019. I'm still waiting for them to fix it. I have to put my clothing in plastic boxes and nothing can touch any of the walls. My TV is full of moisture. And they had the cheek to tell me it was condensation.

These people who run Doncaster councils housing department are scum.
All they care about is the rent money and the tenants who's faces fit.
They clearly discriminate against certain people.
Their complaints system is not fit for purpose , the only thing the staff here can do right is lie for each other and stick together like a pack of dogs sniffing each other's bottoms & looking after their own.
Another council housing department who want the rent money but don't want to do the repairs.
Even when st leger homes are in the wrong they lie their way out of it while cowering away in their offices like frightened rabbits hiding behind the parliamentary health ombudsman service.
This council company is mainly female management dominated and they all seem to have no backbone to meet with my girlfriend and myself to be shown their discrimination.
They won't say anything that will incriminate st leger homes.
Even their equalities manager is ignorant and has his favorites.
Its disgusting in this day and age that councils get away with treating tenants like dirt.
Most of this vile company staff think because they are civil servants that they are above the law.
They discriminate against my girlfriend and then ignore us when we ask for a meeting with their housing director.
Honestly I have never met such a bunch of ignorant cowards.
They have their favourites.
If I could some this vile council department of Doncaster council up in one word ? That word would be scum

The Stage One & Stage Two Complaints Response Guidelines are Never Adhered to by this Organisation. Do Not Trust the Executive Team, Directors or the Complaints Process of this Organisation. After you have "Exhausted" the Complaints Process you will be Directed to The Housing Ombudsman. An Organisation that St. Leger Homes is Paying an Annual Subscription to be registered on their Scheme. In other words they are Actually "Funding" the HO and its Staff Members without this Funding the HO would not exist due to nearly all the Funding for the HO coming from Annual Subscriptions from "Member" Landlords of Housing Associations & Local Authorities.
St. Leger Homes currently Run & Maintain Around 20,000 Properties and pay the Housing Ombudsman £9.64 Per Property (Big Business) The HO is simply a further "Delaying Extension" of St. Leger Homes Complaint Process and you can wait anywhere up to 3 years from your original Complaint Submission for a Determination to any Complaint / Investigation submitted to the HO. This Organisation is a "Business" that operates a "Profits Before People" Regime. As long as they are receiving rent from someone they don't care who they are housing or "Mixing" other tenants with in their Shared Accommodation Properties. This Results in a High Number of Complaints & Crimes being reported to the Relevant Authorities & Organisations (Police, RSPCA Fire & Rescue Etc.) The HO "PROTECTS" this Organisation at all costs who are funding them with an Annual Subscription. Tenants living in "Sub-Standard" Accommodation provided by a Social Housing Provider are much better off taking their own Action than relying on the LGSCO or HO St. Leger Homes Housing Officers will "Assist" the Main Instigators of ASB rather than the Person Making the Complaint. This Organisation has 100% One Star Reviews on Trustpilot. St. Leger Homes state "While we appreciate your interest in the background of individuals in the community, we are unable to disclose personal information - such as whether someone has been in prison - due to legal restrictions around data protection" this is Contributing to a High Number of Crimes being reported to the police by other Tenants & Members of the Neighbourhood Community (SLHD Complaint Reference 22939 + 24043) Two Recommendations have been made by the Housing Ombudsman on 30/11/23 & 20/10/25 stating "The Landlord should consider implementing an ASB procedure" Civil Servants are NOT above the Law. SLHD ASB Complaint : 18292 South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Reference : 27-2526MOC

I would rate 0 if possible. Fob off, lie and put people into unsuitable accommodation. They are only interested in who is paying the rent and getting people signed up then run a mile

A company that has if you're face fits attitude and show favoritism they will break or twist thair own system rules to suit thair own agenda (Them selves) a so called professional company and even give permission to an employee (tenant)to have 5 cctv cameras that breach the Data protection and privacy act and break thair tenancy agreement if it was anyone else they would be made to take them down or taken to court the housing officers, if you ask them relevant questions they become evasive and make up excuses tell lies,twist your words,contradict each another and thair policy's the customer services and thair 3 stage complaints system is not fit for purpose (it's designed to be a long process so you will get feed up and drop your complaints) it's a wonder this company has not been investigated and I don't mean by the housing ombudsman.

regarding repairs you can e-mail or use the portal or call to report a fault, but not a a cat hells chance of a reply, even contacting dept heads, nothing ! in the unlikely event you get a trades mans to do a repair i can say they are done efficiently and those ive met very nice guys. too many people at leger walking round with bits if papers being paid high salaries, I totally agree with the previous reviews

Completely useless incompetent so called arms length management organisation purporting to be A housing association who's sole purpose is to operate city of Doncaster housing stock cannot even view building plan correctly to work out what flats are where within a building or get works on cladding done with contractor in a timely manner

Absolutely shocking how they can lie !!!!!! I found someone inside our block of 4 flats where 2 people with mental health issues live and when asked where he's from he ignored me carries on video and fotos so eventually he said he's from St ledger I asked 4 id and reluctantly he showed a badge from savvilles estate agents so lied I got him to leave next day I get a call private number, housing officer trying to talk down to ne also saying I threatened to set my dog on this fat elvis but again lied I put phone down to avoid anything next day 4 separate cars pull up like there on a sas mission and came into block of flats fat elvis did exactly the same as before and 3 st ledger robots stood looking gormless in the garden they gave no notice nothing I explained my mental health and they stopped me from getting in my flat and her holy highness Emma oates tell ne I better be careful starting on me straight away I told them to get out but stood laughing like its a joke eventually they left then sent me a breach of tenancy saying they were threatened etc .. and had to call 999 LIES !!! NO POLICE CAME OR WAS CALLED they knew about my mental health but still tried to intimidate me didn't work I would like to add the have broken the 2010 equality act ..ie mental health so be aware of these liein robots who don't care about mental health the like to make people suffer in there system I don't want to give 1 star Shocking p.s apparently this lieing witch said police were were called for assistance... 3 weeks later they did come on the door to advise me how to talk to people at St ledger homes of course I sent them on there way 😁😁😁

I was Forced to move into a dump because I was being stalked and harassed by a member of the lgbt community .
Their vile prejudice estates officer knew what was going on and turned a blind eye in favour of her little Grovelling snitch as they were too busy grovelling up to each other .
All St leger homes care about is the Rent and the profit from such .
Their complaints procedure and appeals system is a joke " INDEPENDENT BUT DONE BY THEIR STAFF AND THEIR TENANTS " you Won't get an honest answer here , from Estates teams to senior management their is no honesty here.
They are Doncaster council's housing department regardless of what they say .
The staff at St leger homes think they are above the law , they are rude , arrogant , liars , ignorant , backstabbers and cowards who will lie through their back teeth and do anything to defend their cronies from any wrong doings , despite all the evidence that proves their staff are corrupt they bury it , these scumbags will always take the word of their cronies over a tenant .
They don't care about a Tenants Wellbeing , safety , security or the condition of their properties.
They are Cowards who treat tenants like dirt while hiding behind the Corrupt complaints & appeal procedure and THEIR BACK UP the Parliamentary Housing ombudsman.
Nobody here has the backbone to meet with me to discuss my predicament , I've been here 12 months forced to sleep on the floor it took them 10 months to do the repairs , now I'm left with mould , half my door lock mechanism missing , told to wait 4 months for the broken window to be fixed and now its been cancelled indefinitely , had red rust pouring down my living room wall and the best I got was
" Well you wiped it off and it hasn't come back " any decent landlord would send a plumber out to check the pipes in the loft , or to see if there's an hole in the roof .
No not st leger homes they don't give a damn about anything but certain people and screwing their £68 and a few pennies rent money each week.
Even when their equalities officer came to see me at home and saw the state of the property , he promised the world , and delivers nothing , and got some scumbag estates office to fobb me off over the phone
(Another liar) then avoids my girlfriend and me ignoring our phone calls and emails .

They are nice when you stood in front of them , then they treat you like dirt when they are on the phone to you .

St Leger Homes of Doncaster and the Housing Office, allows certain Anti-Social Neighbours to, Harrass and Intimidate vulnerable people, by allowing anti-social Neighbours, to use their Dogs as aggressive Harassment.
This is a problem in Scawthorpe Doncaster.

Careful when dealing with this organisation. There is a culture of dishonesty with no accountability for staff who lie and specifically accused me of benefit fraud. Managers Janet Walter's Laura Robson Jackie Linaker cannot be trusted to be truthful and work within customer service. Therefore gives them no credibility. Rest assured I have the evidence and even customer service Director would not Let me appeal their dishonesty. They believe offering me 100 pounds and saying sorry is sufficient

Dont trust this organisations complaint system. They have culture of dishonesty with many things covered up many management staff all the way to the director of customer services who will not allow a complaint to go to an appeal and is also prepared to back up and cover up lies by his senior management staff. It's a shame there is no accountability because they do have many hardworking staff especially within the repair system. As I say be careful no integrity or honesty. How these staff be allowed to hold positions of authority when there are no checks and balances where they can say what they want without transparency for them to account for the things they do and say.
