We had a problem with our boiler recently, and I have to say, they responded quickly and sent an engineer to fix it. The engineer, Dewey, diagnosed the problem and took the time to explain it to me. He was friendly and professional, and we're so grateful to have hot water again! I can't recommend this company enough.

We received excellent customer service from start to finish, from discussing the design and making adjustments to installation. The scaffold team and panel installers were great, and the electrician was equally impressive, very neat and tidy. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

Stellar energy appoints Heatforce as their heating installers. Unfortunately, the advert on their van about being professional, did not reflect in the job carried out at my property. My heating did not work properly, almost from the next day the job finished. It took 4 months and one week to determine the ongoing fault. Few weeks later, it went wrong again. I asked for compensation. They offered me one year free servicing. I said it was not enough. So Heatforce sent me an itemised cost of the work they did to find the fault, and tells me. This is what we have done for you. It is easy for someone to put a good remark, but if like me. It is negative, then one must have facts to speak out. Stella energy has compensated me for bad workmanship, and I accepted. However, I have on many occasions spoke to Stellar energy about my problems with Heatforce, but they only spoke with them to say. It was unacceptable. However, Stellar energy, work with Heatforce. So, if your looking for an ECO company, and going by my experience. One can do better.

ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES - SCAM- AVOID. The experience I have had with this company is beyond words, they are a complete shambles , a disgrace and have scammed me into thinking I had been approved for Ecxo flex funding for the past 9 months, it is literally disgusting they way that they have mistreated me. they have strung me along with complete deceit and lies since October 2023. November - Booked Survey , nobody showed up , no email call nothing. January – rescheduled survey, received a call from Ashley after advising new boiler and loft & wall insulation will be installed in 2 weeks. Weeks go by not heard anything chased up, alarmingly I was advised im not entitled to anything and survey was wrong. Then I was promised a free boiler due to the errors provided but advised to remove the bad review, which i did. Few weeks later I chased Ashley but again ignored, I spoke to Simon the director he told me yet again I had been misinformed and I’m not having a free boiler and I had to wait for funding. April 30th - Simon text me " Great News and that they have received funding, May chased again to be told still waiting, I therefore spoke to RCT council and was advised there is no such application and they are not improved installers of this scheme. I confronted simon and he said he would use a 3rd party for funding instead. Absolute joke. June boiler has broken down i have no hot water , they offered to repair until funding received, 4 appointments later still not working, faulty parts, wrong parts, etc and awaiting new parts. 28th June spoke to RCT council again, and yet AGAIN shockingly advised no application has been received by Stellar or a third party absolutely disgusting behaviour. Many messages have been sent to Simon, I've explained I have 2 young girls here with no hot water, all ignored now blocked. RCT advised to go to Ofgem, Ombudsmen, I will also seek legal advice for distress and inconvenience to myself and my children. Thank god it Is not winter we would all have pneumonia. I advise anyone thinking of using this company to use other alternatives, I have been truly let down and feel like I have been totally scammed. The whole experience has been extremely stressful for myself and my children, This is just pure greed, rather than lose a sale they would chance being approved with RCT council, or use someone else rather than me find locally which no doubt would have been completed by now. I since have had to move out of the property until something is sorted , I am outraged to say the least. BEWARE DESPICABLE COMPANY !!!

We have had internal insulation installed and our experience has been excellent. The installation team from Griff’s Plastering did a fantastic and professional job very quickly. They explained the installation process and were friendly and helpful and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards.

My Dad was surveyed on 3rd April but then heard nothing. He phoned on the 16th and was told that essentially there not enough in it for them to do the work so told to approach my Local Authority. Never had the courtesy to let me know this though. A total waste of time & space in my opinion.

My grant work has been completed and my previously cold old home is now comfortably warm and cosy. I was unsure about how much I would benefit from an air source heat pump as I had heard that they were less effective in an old property. Don't believe it! The insulation work done by Stellar before the new heating was installed has made a big difference, and the solar panels on my roof generate power even on dull days, which offsets the bills too. All told, I'm much warmer and my bills have gone down. Total win-win!
All the various people who came from Stellar Energy and their contractors were super helpful and friendly.
I couldn't be happier.

We had our survey carried out in August 2023. I was told someone called Ryan would follow up with us about next steps.
After calling multiple times in September I received a call in October explaining we would need to contribute to the measures, which I was happy to do and asked to have this information over email. He said he would do so in 48 hours and I have not received this email.
Called again multiple times November-December, always told someone will call back but they did not. The woman who picks up the phone when you call is incredibly lovely, helpful and was always very apologetic.
I had a look at these reviews and saw the company replies with a custom service email address so I emailed them in November but again received no response.

The company has done a very good job of upgrading my loft insulation and cavity wall insulation and retrofitting trickle vents and extraction fans. The teams are all efficient, friendly, hard-working and explain clearly what they are going to do and why. When there was an unexpected issue with excess insulation dust getting blown around my loft, Ken and Dan drove all the way from Wales (I’m near Oxford) at 6.30am on Saturday morning to sort it out. All done with a smile and a lovely Welsh accent. 😄
