Why restrict disability parking (even…

Why restrict disability parking (even though we also pay for a space) by replacing them with a money grabbing scheme “premium parking” I didn’t ask to use a wheelchair. One day I was like you the next disabled, it can happen to anyone. So now the lifts are even more difficult to get in as the parking level is higher. The wait to go shopping is now 15-30 mins as a direct result of cooperate greed. Thanks for putting profits in front of your loyal customers.

Car Park Issues!

Car Park Issues!

Since the installation of their ‘QuikPark’ system, there has been constant issues every week! I pay a premium to park there so the barriers should open automatically but no! All the time there is an issue and I think its disgusting they have removed the cash option and have gone contactless. I saw an elderly couple scrambling because they didnt notice it was no longer cashless and were trying to find a way to pay as they only had cash! Lots of people still use cash and dont have debit/credit cards, they are vile for switching to card payments only and their QuikPark is beyond rubbish with its constant issues!

Do not use their car park.

Do not use their car park.
It took me 2 hours to get out of the car park today. The traffic lights at the bottom of the ramp are only green long enough to let 2 cars through. If the road besides the arena is full of cars, then no cars will exit the car park.
I googled this car park whilst sitting in the queue to exit as I had plenty of time on my hands and this is not a new occurance. A comment from the St David's management states they were looking at the situation in order to remedy it. Clearly nothing has happened with that.
So first and last time I use this car park.

The car park is a nightmare

The car park is a nightmare - over two hours to get out.
I have seen a newspaper article dated 2017 which mentioned the same issue so I guess this is an ongoing issue.
I will never use this car park again.

Bad security

So besides my daughter cutting her foot in the pool (spa & gym not up to standards)....I was then asked by staff to fill in a "forget it" form basically then was told off by staff for being "noisy" at 12am on a Saturday night with my kids while we were only watching a movie on tv in bed......not that we were particularly "noisy" but I paid to enjoy myself & my kids too......felt uneasy & persecuted after their 7ft "security " came to scold us.....
.would not pay £110 again to be belittled by staff who won't even look at you after said complaint.......also glad I didn't sign waiver of my daughter's injury after the way we were treated

Not good

Now I truly wish I could give some more stars but this is my highest rating I can give. So car park smells of human waste, suprise suprise, homeless lad doing his bizwass in the corner. Starts touching me saying something like "you belong to me sonny" so I pepper spray him because dangerous places call for important measures innit. Get in the lift to the arcade and there's a bald as my dad's dad man shouting nonsense like "I've got a bomb!". Ed's diner isn't open yet but of course there's a family of 7 protesting outside. Overall this is up there with one of my worst st davids visits.

Exceptionally bad customer service

Exceptionally bad customer service. Will argue with you rather than listen and rectify problems. Very amateurish. Don't expect accountability from St David's if your show is ruined and certainly don't expect a refund however small.

3 star is the max I can give St David’s…

3 star is the max I can give St David’s Centre. Plenty of shopping to venture around but the food outlets are always full with at minimum a 45minute wait (which I know is a good thing and shows they are good and popular, but having more would certainly improve this!) my main reason for giving a 3 star max simply comes down the way I was treated as a pregnant woman a couple of months back by a staff member. I heavily pregnant and having walked to the nearest toilet available to me (which was about a 10minute walk for my swollen ankles), I was turned away. Apparently they had closed the toilets although I could see the end of the queue and the disabled toilet being free at the time. I politely explained I was heavily pregnant, and was quite honestly fit to burst. She looked me up and down and said “walk to primark then” me thinking she was just being a little difficult I again explained as a pregnant woman could I possibly be given a little grace on this occasion and be allowed to use the disable toilet, knowing I’d be out before the queue to the ladies had even gone down 3 or 4 people. Again she looked at me… “no… primark is around the corner.” Now I know everyone has a job to do, and it wasn’t that I was demanding special treatment, but I think she was being down right rude and completely unaccommodating to the situation. Safe to say I had hobbled to primark in agony by the time I got there and the Primark staff were unbelievably kind and helped me to their nearest available toilet! This particular shopping Center staff member however was appalling and despite several people telling her she should let me through continued to let herself down. That’s why I cannot give more than a 3. A shame 1 person spoiled it for everyone!

St David’s theatre Cardiff…..don’t buy snacks!

Fancy a snack whilst watching whatever you’ve booked tickets for?

How about a ‘small’ Pringles (in the shops £0.90) for £1.50 or, better still, the smallest (125g) peanut m&m’s (avg shop price £1.25) for a whopping £3.20.

Takes the p*ss!

DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS!!!

DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS!!!! PROBLEMS USING IN STORE IF YOU DON'T KNOW EXACTLY HOW MUCH IS ON THEM. PROBLEMS GETTING A REFUND IF YOU TAKE SOMETHING BACK HAVNG PAID WITH ONE.
EML (THE DISTRIBUTOR) MADE BILLIONS - THAT IS THE LETTER 'B' - FROM CARDS BOUGHT PRE-COVID WHICH THEY WOULD NOT EXTEND DESPITE THE SHOPS BEING CLOSED FOR A LARGE PROPORTION OF THE TIME SCALE FOR USING.
BASICALLY LEGAL THEFT. SHOCKING.

Terrible !

Terrible !! Do not book! Booked a special birthday weekend here. Was promised a lovely room with a bottle of bubbly (I have the email) Room was out dated and the furniture was tatty and damaged. The spa was shocking, grubby, uninviting plus a very odd layout, and you have to pay for slippers ! I’ve never paid for slippers at any spa. The pool area is grubby and badly laid out. The lunch at the spa was shocking, presented in a black box with sections for the unappetising food. I’ve never eaten food out of a box before because I’ve never been to prison. I was stunned. The waiter was rude and made us feel unwelcome. The spa treatment was nice but this is the only thing that was. There was no bread at breakfast or orange juice! Lodged a complaint which was totally disregarded. The hotel staff and the hotel are utterly appalling. I paid £500 for one night and an afternoon spa break for 2 and was treated like dirt.
