I am happy to recommend Staykool if you are thinking of using this service.

The online booking system worked well and ahead of my appointment I received SMS and email reminders; the email contained full details of how to find Staykool.

I arrived 5 minutes early but was seen immediately so they do not cram the diary with appointments and then subsequently run late.

The service was concluded in less than 20 minutes as advertised, despite my car having a leak that required sealing and then a full charge of refrigerant.

The total price was £76 including service, refrigerant and leak sealing - all as advertised and very reasonable

I initially took my VW T4 to the Kwik-Fit centre in Derby to get my air con re-gassed....never again!
The guy (who could barely walk without tripping over his shoe laces I might add) hooked it up for over 40 minutes and then said they couldn't do it as there was a leak somewhere and suggested I take it to Parkway. He also admitted they didn't even have a proper air con technician to do the job anyway.....

Having looked online for somewhere else to sort the air con out, I came across Staykool and having read the reviews I took a chance and made an appointment.

We arrived at Marks this morning and were greeted with a friendly smile....this goes a long way in my book. After we explained about the whole Kwik-Fit issue Mark shook his head in disbelief with a face that said 'yep i've that before'. Anyway he hooked my T4 up to his equipment and was horrified to see that they had over filled the gas way above the recommend amount as shown on the sticker under the bonnet!

Mark talked us through the process and explained every step of what he was doing and why. He very professionally rectified Kwik-Fit's mistake. The system was de-gassed, vacuumed and re-gassed. We also had the UV dye and an anti-bacterial treatment done...all within a matter of minutes

Mark certainly knows his stuff and is very knowledgeable, he answered all of our questions. We were also given the number of a guy who can help to fix our cooling fans as they are not working. The air con it's self is a thousand times better than it was before and its even better to know that the gas is at a safe amount, especially with the cooling fans are not working. On that note Mark explained that we can still use the air con but only when we are travelling at speed as the engine will pull in the outside air to keep it cool (just in case anyone reading this wondered).

I am very grateful to Mark, with a long journey to Devon planned soon, and too much gas in the air con and no cooling fans, it could have been a very dangerous journey for us and our children.

If your air con isn't working as it should and you want someone who knows what they are doing to sort it, Mark is your man! oh and his prices are just as fab as his service. Thank you so much Mark

Very professional and efficient service.
The booking procedure was quick and easy to follow. I had an email of the booking which I could download on my calender. I got reminders near the appointment time. On the day Mark explained everything step by step, checked that it was working. Brilliant service at a good.price. I recommend Staykool to others who need to service their Air Cons.

My aircon was blowing too warm so I needed it sorting, Mark informed me of what the issue most likely was and fixed it in 15 mins. He's knowledgeable and runs a great service. My air con actually keeps me cool now! The service came to only £37 (£29 for the service and £8 for the gas). This is very inexpensive compared to other places like Halfords start charges at £60.

Would use again and recommend to anyone looking to fix their air conditioning

Within 15 minutes my aircon was working as it should. Mark delivers a thoroughly professional service. All costs were clearly explained in the booking confirmation. I was sent a reminder before the appointment. Mark explained everything clearly as he carried out the service and there were no hidden costs when it came time to pay. Outstanding service, Mark tells you what is happening, and what he's doing from start to finish, all prices clearly marked, and he tells you what all your options are on any additional thing you can go for, loads better than the let's see what else your car doesn't need fast fit garages. Excellent service. Mark is friendly and professional and had my AC system back to its factory best in no time at all. My system was working, just low on refrigerant and "cool" not cold. The service included removing and weighing it to determine how much had been lost then refilling it after vaccing it down to be sure there was no water in there. My AC is cold enough that I have a small colony of King Penguins taking up residence in the back of the car.

If your AC is hissing when you use it, or is struggling to really chill the car then I can highly recommend Stay Kool. With the base cost of the service plus nearly 3/4 of a tank of refrigerant added I still paid less than other big garages are charging for a regas. Great value all round.

My decision to go with Stay kool, was primarily their excellent site with everything explained so precisely and clearly with all likely costs. Their online appointment service was so easy and precise, with subsequent reminders as text and email. On arrival to the premises, it was clearly apparent that this is a professional business. everywhere tidy and clean, his van, tools, property, and that tells a lot about someone. He explained everything, gave advice on the use of the Air con, and what to do. Excellent value for money, very very satisfied and truly and highly recommended by me.
