The classes are a good way to get immersed in the language and to get to know other people who are going through the same experience. We were 6 people in class so the groups are quite reduced. The other students were very friendly and we often hanged out after class or visited other cities that were close-by.
Shout-out to Gregg as he was very invested in our learning and asked us about what we felt were our weakness in French so that he could provide some exercises.
I chose the diving program, which was supposed to offer a PADI certification according to the website. Despite confirming this via email, it turned out to be impossible. The communication about this topic was very unclear and disorganised. At the end, I managed to get the French Diving certification but I think it's partly due to my persistence.
The scheduling was tight, and I often had to eat on the way to the diving school. However, it was a nice experience and the classes were very interesting.
As for the accomodation, the location was perfect. The eating schedules were complicated, cos if I didn't make it on time I wouldn't be able to eat since the host mom slept on the coach in the kitchen (it's was an open concept kitchen). That happened a couple times. I also had to have breakfast while the host mom was sleeping there, so that wasn't ideal.
Additionally, I requested a non-smoking environment, but there was occasional smoking, However, my room wasn't smelly and the host did try to smoke close to the window. As for the food only one day it was a home cooked meal, the rest was store bought food. It was a nice accomodation but I would have changed some things.
Overall, it was a nice experience in the small and cozy Nice.

They made us go there the first day at 8:15 and then let us sit in silence for forty minutes doing nothing. when they arrived the introduction was more or less like this: "we are a school, there are classes with different levels, now you can go to class". Instead, they could show us around the school (I discovered the terrace only after 5 days I was there) and show us around to get to know people and feel welcomed. all the activities organized by them were held in the same hours as I had class. so it was impossible to participate. One day I was having lunch in the same room where the staff had lunch. As soon as I walked in, they started talking in a low voice like they didn’t want me to hear their speeches: how to make a person feel welcomed. changed 3 teachers to general French lessons, changed two teachers to thematic lessons in two weeks.

It was good that you could change Class after one week.

I cancelled it one month before and you didn´t return my reservation fee of 200 euros. How do you justify it?
200 euros for doing what?

Staff good
Location medium
Facilities (WC/Rooms) good
teaching metodics BAD.
Too many songs played at the class, not much practicing on speaching or writting.
It´s a summer course if you want to kill time.

The information provided on lodging and meals was highly inaccurate, almost to the point of being fraudulent. On the “RULES FOR LODGING IN A HOST FAMILY” provided, it indicated that: “Dinner: You will be served a complete meal including a starter, a main course, cheese and/or a dessert. These meals will be varied and adapted to any particular health requirements you may have.” It also states: “This is a single bedroom in the apartment. Your bedroom will include the following as a minimum: 1 bed, 1 bedside table, 1 desk, 1 chair and storage areas.” No such varied or 3 course meals were provided. In fact, I understand that the most unhealthy food was provided. Furthermore, it was not a single bedroom- rather a large room shared by more than 5 people. I cannot believe that such information is being provided when the reality is completed different.

Even though I informed in advance that I should take the C1 French course because I had an exam to take, they placed me in the B1+ course. I complained but they didn't change the level until the second day. I had the feeling that I'd completely lost one day and my first experience was awful.

Naomi did not enjoy the food at all - she honestly said it was inedible which is not OK - it was strange to me that there weren’t even croissants for breakfast. She also did not learn much as far as I could tell and everyone spoke Spanish so the teacher translated into Spanish. Otherwise seemed good. Thanks.

The pace of the lessons was very slow and the content was uninspiring and boring. In the first two days we just did exercises from a textbook, sometimes with no introduction or a starter activity. There were also 13 students in the group and a wide range of ability ( from B1 to C1). The language school was not able to provide lessons that cater for an advanced level (C1) despite what they have written on their website. When I complained about the content not being suitable for a more advanced level, the teacher gave us longer texts to read but these texts were not more complex in terms of vocabulary and language structures. We spent an hour reading a text and discussing the meaning of 5 words. Many students were on their phones, exchanging messages or doing other activities as they were waiting for weaker students to finish reading a text or completing a task. The teacher did not have a clear understanding of how to form the basic present subjunctive and struggled to explain exceptions. The Kahoot games we did at the end of lessons were full of errors - the games were chosen from the ones already created by other teachers and they were not even checked prior to being used in class. We were asked to send all written work to the teacher so she can mark it but I never received any feedback. In the Les ateliers thématiques there were also students of a very wide range of ability (from beginners to advanced learners). I’ve attended many other language schools in France and also in other countries but I don’t recommend this one and I wouldn’t go back there again.

I was enrolled in the Paris school and it closed down suddenly without warning, explanation or reimbursement. Very disappointed at this level of service.

Choosing this school was a big mistake. I booked the course and paid for it, but because of the visa denial, I had to cancel the reservation. This was six months ago. I still have not received my money back. The management of the school does not answer questions related to refunds. It seems that only the police and the court can help me to communicate with these people.

I’m very pleased with the learning experience at FL-Biarritz. Both instructors were knowledgeable, and personable with a desire to help you learn. The administration was helpful. I recommend FL-Biarritz without hesitation.

After having spent 3 weeks at France Langue Nice I can only recommend this experience to everyone willing to work on a language! The teachers are able to work out your individual level and keep the balance between having fun in class and creating an environment for progress. Also the topics are very interesting and fitted for the group. There are also lessons outside the school incorporated, which is nice. And having the possibility of using the just learned on a day to day basis is key and super satisfying. Since we barely spoke French in class in my hometown I was a little scared of talking to others. But I can tell you, my French developed so quickly since the first day, it was really cool. And I've also met people who learned the language for the first time there which was super impressive! Like you can see, with France Langue you can master anything :)
Also greetings to my teacher Marion, you were awesome. Merci beaucoup!

Good school with great teachers! located in the beautiful 5th arr. There are a lot of students from all over the world, they were all adorable and the interactions with the other students during the classes were interesting.

I was only 2 weeks there. It was a good and relaxed experience for holidays. I recommend the additional afternoon class if you want more challenge. You will learn more from students of higher level. The school was small and pretty in an older house with a court, close to the golden triangle of Bordeaux. Some rooms are small, some rooms are ok. During the summerholidays there are more students. So the classroom was full and we sat closely together.
