So much more compelling for my son to study with a team of French instructors than some of the offerings in the US with non-native teachers who've "lived in France" and style themselves as experts.

Wasn’t so happy that part of my intensive class turned out to be online. I was not aware of this when I booked. Also the online part was not very good. Large class numbers , not very interactive. I didn’t enjoy it.

Also for the cultural tours done as part of the some of the lessons I found a bit of a waste of time. Lots of walking around and not really learning french. They were a little disorganised with not much plan / structure.

However the teachers were good over all.

I had an incredible experience with France Langue (Victor Hugo location). I was promptly assisted with an entrance exam to determine my level of French upon arrival. The examiner encouraged me to join the higher level, which greatly benefitted me and pushed my boundaries. My B1 professor, Geraldine, was a wonderful woman and teacher, who fostered conversation during every class and engaged us with useful exercises, such as iconic French cinema, music, and local traditions, like Galette des Rois after Christmas. Even though I took the class for only a week, it has stayed in my memory for a long time and I am especially grateful to Geraldine for getting me over the fear of speaking French. Merci beaucoup à tous!!

it is good and has helped me a lot everytime

I enjoyed the course and felt I learned a lot through my classes. The teacher spoke exclusively in French, which was a real bonus. The class size was small and each student had opportunity to speak. I felt there was a good mix of grammer and practice.

not easy for me

The methodology created for the classes online with the quarantine is not so good, need to improve and organize better.
I am Aupair and I am not working only in the afternoons, so it's being complicated to be on time at the course.

It's been a real pleasure and interesting at the same time. In a friendly way, I felt free to find my path in developing while being encouraged to take that next step in grammar or vocabulary.

Would love to continue.. also online!

Great staff, great location, lots of opportunities for students to get out and see Paris

It’s okay but really school like. One topic after an other without constant repeat of the already learned topics. And the most important thing my teacher was not even able to speak English good enough to understand my questions. Not going to extend for further levels.

Great week in Paris Victor Hugo, just before the Coronavirus lock down.
Morning group discussions were very useful with surreptitious introduction of grammar topics.
Afternoon one-to-one private lessons were excellent to make me talk and to improve listening and understanding.
Lots of useful tips and links to radio, podcasts and other spoken word media to continue listening and comprehension.
Outstanding really.
Highly recommended.

Awesome teachers, and a great experience. 10/10 would come back.

I was hoping for more opportunity to speak, though my prof was fun and made the class interesting. The grammar was mostly a review for me, except for the pronom partitif. I will be taking another couse in Bordeaux the end of May. Hopefully there will be more conversation in those classes.

The school is in a perfect city centre location - close to everything but in a quiet street. It is an excellent environment to study with clean rooms and fast, reliable IT and WiFi facilities. All the staff are very helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They even gave me an extra lesson at the end of the first day to build my confidence! In sum, a very pleasurable experience where I learned a lot in a beautiful setting.
