Fraudulent service

Fraudulent service. Signed up for monthly subscription. Didn't get any helpful use from reports so I submitted a cancellation. 4 months later I see that I am still being charged. When you click cancel, it says a cancellation is requested, but clearly it did not actually cancel. I have called my bank to submit the fraudulent transactions. Everyone should STAY AWAY from this platform.

Why one day I can access data that is free, and the another day it says that is premium when yesterday was not premium? SCAMMERS, you just want to force people to buy statistics that are at a crazy price.

I've been charged for 5 months withot my acceptance

I've been charged for an additional subscription that I've never accepted.
I bought a year subscription, and use it for a couple of months only. But after a year, they started to charge me for some monthly subscriptions without my permission or acceptance. I've tried to reach them 5 times via mail, but no one answered me. Also, I have sent a request for cancelation but my account is still active. Awful service

Just as other's reported

Just as other's reported, the Statista web site promotes a $39 monthly plan "Personal Plan" but when you click on it, it charges you $468. I immediately cancelled the subscription (within an hour) upon receiving this email but Statista is unwilling to issue a refund. I did not download any reports. I am currently contesting the charges though my CC company. The fact they use such tactics to charge consumers is dishonest if not outright fraud.

Fraudulent- no one want's a year subscription.

I was charged for the yearly plan without my consent. I'm reporting it as fraud, and my bank should side with me. i recommend everyone do that. If everyone is unhappy with the product they received, it's the companies fault, not the users. I cant look at this company as a legitimate company due to how it operates- I can only urge that no one use this service so that it can extinguish itself amongst the other legitimite services.

Disingenuous business model. Avoid Starter Plan

All too similar experience to the 1-star reviews below... Charged over $500 (which was advertised as a monthly price by charged annually = misleading). Limited data and graphs on the Starter plan (more or less information that can be found on Google); any insight requires a massive price jump to a Corporate subscription. I'll own my mistake and make use of my plan as best I can. Hopefully, my recommendation is to avoid the Starter plan; there's minimal value for the cost.

I also imagine if you're a large corporate, you're better off commissioning your own primary research or purchasing specific secondary research reports. The Statista business model is disingenuous at best...

I accidentally purchased a year's worth…

I accidentally purchased a year's worth of subscription (the price was advertised monthly initially)
Proceeded to ask for a refund in the next 2 days with no response. Luckily when I purchased the single account I got an email "You're finally getting started at Statista."- title which was from the customer relations team. I wrote an email to them and they replied back that they canceled my services from the next year 2024 and also mentioned that they can't refund me.
Paying 550+ USD I still don't have access to a lot of data which requires an enterprise upgrade.
Bad service! Bad business model! They should focus more for individuals.

Scammers

Scammers. Misleading. You show a monthly price and then charged for an entire year. After 2 days I noticed that the information was useless, statistics are useless for my business. When I cancelled my subscription they notified me that no refunds will be issued. I was charged almost $500 for a useless platform. You should do better.
