Check and research on Chess groups before joining

I joined this club a few years ago where there are different ages of people playing, most times of youth and elementary ages playing; then after been with them 1-3 years, I noticed after one of the people who wasn't coming much came back to challenge some people. I felt I was getting treated unfair in one of the tournament games compared to this person coming back. I complained to the person in charge or owner, Richard, but it didn't go nowhere further. Little does he rememberr I paid for his lessons online and have off and on paid for other things there this was not what I expected from this club at all even though it shows '5' on google reviews; but I saw it differently from how I was treated from another person who I complained about to him where he doesn't know well about this person having helped him move things over a weekend where that person seem to be making up convincing story to me when now I saw he was like a 'pervert.' I haven't been back a good months there because of the way this owner let the issue go and not have been concern of the people coming in to play chess as long as people are coming to pay him as an income or as extra income.
