Excellent experience at the clinic

My name is Souad, 52 years old. I live in London and has multiple sclerosis for more than 28 years. For 23 years, my MS has been under control, thanks to the ongoing treatments I’ve received from the public health system APHP in France, and the NHS in the UK. Since 2018, my MS has « accelerated » causing severe mobility issues. I can only walk a few steps with a fixed walker. I was very active professionally, and enjoying life with my family. However, I got to a point now that I needed to make something additional to my ongoing NHS treatment. Explore alternatives. Heard about stem cells but didn’t want the invasive procedure. Found Swiss Medical (MSC stem cells), operating in Serbia through the IM clinic. Rationales to choose them: testimonials, proximity (within europe), interactions with one of their doctor, and a comprehensive program proposal . I’ve just finished it. While it’s too early to share on the effects of the treatment, my experience at the clinic has been excellent.
- Medical staff, nurses, physios, and doctors. You’ll be in very good hands! Professional, caring, focused on your wellbeing, always checking-in, always available.
- Personalised: my doctor, Dr. Aida has been excellent. Explaining everything about the procedures (before and after).
- Kitchen Staff are simply wonderful.

Last: going to Serbia has been easy and is safe! Direct flight from London to Belgrade.

Good experience

I was diagnosed in Sept 2020 with Early-Onset Parkinsons and since diagnosis my condition deteriorated rapidly. In the last year the disease had progressed and we tried everything (HIFU, Herbal tablets) but nothing seemed to respond. Whilst searching the Internet I came across Swiss Medica and after a few weeks of ignoring the urge to contact them, I decided to. What a great decision I made as
all the staff was friendly and professional, from Tanya, to Anastasia, Ruzica, the Physio team, the nurses, the cooks and the cleaners. Special Thanks to Dr. Anna for everything she did and the special care and attention she gave me. The clinic facilities is amazing and everyone there goes out of their way to make you comfortable, oh the food is also delicious. Just a week after treatment my family can see huge progression in my walking, balance, and tremors have reduced.I will definitely be going back in 6 months to get a top up from my own harvested Stem Cells.
I would recommend Swiss Medica to anyone with Parkinsons as its giving me hope...

Charlatans and Quackery!

I came across this organisation on Facebook advertising, this organisation is disgraceful for the falsehood and lack of information advertised on Facebook commercials.
This organisation fails to include the devastating side effects of their treatments and contradicts the scientific fact that no treatment works for everyone.
Swiss Medica wrote a "success story" then put an illustration of a boy at the end. They come up on Facebook again with the same story word for word, it was a copy and paste with an illustration of a girl. I doubt two different people affected variously had identical lives, this organisation is intentionally deceitful.
The success story is full of lies and science fiction, a neurologist would not tell a patient they will die by the age of 6 before trying all available interventions and treatments. It claims a boy having 10 seizures every day, epilepsy doesn't work that way, people don't have the same amount of seizures every day. They don't know how severity is measured, severity is determined by how much damage does one seizure cause, not by how many seizures a person has. One of my epileptic seizures does more damage than someone else having 10 seizures.
Swiss Medica claims there's a cure to autism, autism has no cure and since every individual is affected variously this organisation is putting people in danger.
Medications and interventions interact with each other, as well as failing to mention the side effects, they fail to provide medical evidence and they tell fictional testimonials instead.
The National Health Services provide 6 warning signs it's a fake treatment:
1) It claims to "cure" or help people "recover from" autism
2) It claims to work in most people and have quick results
3) Personal "stories" are used to claim it works, rather than medical evidence
4) Words like "miracle", "faith" and "trust" are used
5) It can be done by anyone without any training or qualifications
6) It costs a lot of money

Swiss Medica is an intentionally deceitful organisation preying on your fear, and your hopes.
Do not trust this organisation with all it's deceit, lies, commercial profiteering, deceitful advertisements, failure to tell you the side effects, failure to provide medical evidence but instead give you false testimonials.
Do not trust them, do research on their treatments and see for yourselves.

Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion. We understand your concerns and respect your right to question any medical organization. It’s important that people do their own research when it comes to healthcare decisions.

However, we would like to clarify a few key points:
Swiss Medica does not claim to “cure” any disease, including autism, epilepsy, or neurological disorders. Our communication (both online and during consultations) focuses on potential improvements, rehabilitation, and quality of life support based on each individual’s medical condition.

All medical procedures at our clinic are performed by licensed doctors in compliance with international standards. Every patient is carefully evaluated before treatment, and informed consent includes a discussion of possible risks and realistic expectations.

As for patient stories, they are shared only with consent and describe personal experiences, not guaranteed outcomes. We believe it’s important for families to hear real voices alongside medical information.

We appreciate your feedback. Transparency, ethics, and patient safety remain our highest priorities.

Best regards,
Swiss Medica Team

I couldn't recommend the clinic highly…

I couldn't recommend the clinic highly enough for anyone considering Stem Cell Therapy. We visited the clinic as a family for my father in law for treatment to help his Parkinson's.

From the moment we arrived we felt very at ease, all the Doctors and nurses are amazing at what they do, very knowledgeable and professional, a true credit to the clinic.

Anastasia made us feel so welcome with her kindness throughout our stay making sure everything was always going well and giving us recommendations along the way for our free time in Serbia.

Dr Aieda who was our main Doctor from our stay was amazing, talking us through each step of the programme and always making sure my Father in Law felt at ease with the treatment, nothing was ever too much. Thank you.

Anatolio who helped us plan the trip made everything so easy with his kindness from the beginning and always wanted to do what he could to cater for our needs. From initial contact to leaving the clinic he always checked in to make sure everything was going well for us. Thank you :)

We felt so lucky to have the opportunity to have treatment for our Father in law at this clinic and this is something we will truly be thankful for a lifetime. He left the clinic with a smile on his face, and we now will wait to see the full positive results from the treatment over the next 3-6 months.

Thank you to all Swiss Medica Belgrade Team as sorry I didn't get everyone's names.

Very Unethical doctor

Before you go the Sonnen-Praxis Klink, Dr Ingrid Riedel, let it be known you will pay for
the treatments as a private patient. And you will probably pay big CHF money
unless you run away after the first consultation.

We looked at other poor reviews and can wholeheartedly agree with them.

A tiny bit may be covered under KVG, maybe 5%. The rest you will need to pay.
You will receive many medications from the klinik, not covered by insurance.
Dr Riedel, in my opinion compared to other doctors, tends to overload
the patient on costly medications, obviously that is her money maker. No
prescriptions to apothoke/pharmacy. There is a question of medical ethics
for Dr Riedel to give so much medication that you will have to pay for at their office.

She did an analytical test on me called Metatronia. I spent an hour on that machine.
The doctor never discussed the results with me. She did not tell me what is going on.
But she then gave me alot of medications. That is very poor.

She will come into your consultation room for a few minutes, and then she leaves.
I am thinking she will come back, the consult is not over. But she doesn't come back.
An assistant will come with a few boxes and bottles of medicine for you.
The doctor has prescribed the medications for 3 X per day. The box and packages
say 1 X per day. Is that proper medicine by a doctor or is the doctor just trying to run
up the bills for refills? Taking all these I bloated terribly, an extreme sharp attack of pain
and I had to run to her. I didn't go to another doctor because Dr Riedel should know the
problems & side effects with her medication.
What did she do? She gave me 4 more medications from her Klinik. Wow, that was ending
this relationship very quickly. We are supposed to trust doctors, they have the knowledge.
I truly believe I was taken advantage of by this doctor. And I am out of my pocket paying thousands of
CHF with only several appointments. WOW !!!

Also Dr Riedel does not give you referrals to specialists, even if you ask to go to the specialist, the Dr will
raise her hands in the air and say what for. I will treat you here.
She will keep you in her klinik and handle everything, give more tests and medications from her
klink. Another money maker.

She will do tests. Never tell you exactly what is the problem, but give you alot of
medications to take home.

Sometimes you will get an IV of vitamin C with other ingredients in it. This they tell you
is not covered by insurance. They are between Chf350 - Chf500 for one simple one.
You may be recommended to receive several. Your bill (that you will need to pay) will
add up into the thousands CHF very quickly.

There are not many patients there. There is NO waiting room. There is
only one chair at the door for one patient to sit before their appointment.
There are several treatment rooms. Not busy.

I guess people who pay alot for medical insurance don't wish to pay more
out of their pocket, they stay away.

Unqualified doctor, Trickery. Avoid her at all costs. I went to see her in the same area.
She did the Metronon test, but did not care to analyse it. She pops in for a few seconds & leaves me in the room with the nurses to finish the selling of vitamins. When I asked for her, she came in with a BUNCH of vitamins.
She prescribed extremely high doses. She gave me 10 vitamins and others 3 x 3 each x 10 vitamins.
I bloated terribly, an extreme sharp attack of pain, had to run to her, she gave 4 more. I

Great Customer service =Great experience

So, we arrived on Saturday the 6th of May 2023 and left on Saturday the 20th of May. Coming from Australia, i dint want to stay just one week because i would be too tired.

1. Customer service.
The administration is well organised. They handle the little stuff that needs to be done so we can focus on the big task ahead which is the therapy. They picked us from the airport and handled my lost baggage situation. Anastasia was awesome in following up my lost/delayed baggage because i was just not in a mental space to call the airline and the airport to trace the baggage. She went to the airport and collected it when it arrived. so grateful! They also made sure that i had a hotel room that was suitable for me and son and had all that i needed. The hotel i stayed in is private and yet, the service and the people there we all so helpful and accommodating to my son. The admin also handles the transportation to and from the hotel and malls or markets if required which is great and because you don't need to be thinking about extra $$.

2. The Kitchen staff
They are awesome, they have special meals for the day and you have three options. If you aren't feeling the menu, you can order something else. My son and i don't eat variety and the kitchen was always accommodating and i making us what we required. The food is always on point and tasty. We even tried some Serbian food which was awesome. They are all so friendly so please do speak up if you need something else. The cleaning ladies are also great and makes sure that the place is always very clean. because my luggage was missing, they gave us some kids clothes so my son can have clothes while we wait for the luggage .

3.The Doctors
Dr Rosmy was the one looking after us. She explained every step of the way. She was ready to answer any questions we had. I have a different way of approaching the therapy and they were able to accommodate my way despite it being a bit challenging because my son was not always cooperative. Patience was needed in our case and with patience we got there in the end.She gave a detailed explanation of every procedure that took place and explained what and why. My son didn't want to be in a room that looks like a typical clinic room, so they did the procedures in a bedroom that looked like home. They were so flexible in following my son wherever he would go and do the procedure there. He made them follow him. so cheeky!!! The nurses are all awesome and flexible with my cheeky little angel. Thank you to the wonderful nurses who were so kind and patient to help him.

4.The clinic

The clinic is in a house setup and not your typical i am in a hospital vibe. This is such a clever way to get kids to relax and not feel like they are in a medical facility. There's a pool at the back and cats and new kittens which is awesome for the kids. My son didn't want to participate so, i told him that if he did, i will let him swim. He let Dr do his job and got his pool time. Too bad we went in May when its just starting to get warm and the pool was not as warm yet. There's always refreshments around the clinic, for the coffee lovers and soft drinks lovers. fruits and water always there. great internet service which you need.

5. The Serbians

Serbian people are just wonderful and ready to help a foreigner. I walk everywhere and for long distances. when got confused or unsure, there would be someone to help. That's why for me it was important to support small business and little shops around. I also love how small and easy to get in and out of the airport. that is a plus for me!

I'm no not going to lie

I'm no not going to lie. I was anxious about the whole getting treatment abroad with going into the unknown almost. After having the luxury of speaking to a colleague who filled me in regards to the whole process, I felt comfortable and confident in booking my ticket and taking the plunge.
From my point of arrival at the airport and meeting Anastasia to my departure it was totally professional and friendly experience.
The facility was fantastic with everyone so welcoming and courteous from Ivan the physiotherapist/chiropractor to the amazing Dr Romi to the kitchen staff and the nurses.
So much care was put into collecting as much detail and giving regular updates regards to treatment.
I was impressed with the speed and timing at which everything was done.
The knowledge base of Dr Romi was very Impressive who was not shy in sharing as much information as I could digest.
Anastasia was amazing in coordinating the whole experience for me.
The nurses were so empathetic and gave a great deal of care and attention. It almost felt like visiting family.
Thankyou all for making it such a wonderful experience.
The treatment has allowed me to start living my my life the way I did before I developed facet joint syndrome in my lower back so happy days.

Review Swiss Medica clinic XXL:
It might well work for other diseases, unfortunately it did not work for me, in fact it made me much, much worse. In total it costed me over 45.000 euro. I went to the clinic in Belgrade twice, I have severe brain trauma.

I am not rich, it costed me all my money. My advise: do not spent your money here!!!

You need to train your chat…

You need to train your chat agents/"medical advisors" to provide better service for people like myself who want to start stem cell therapy and explore their options. I was asked for my diagnosis, which I provided. I was asked for copies of my medical reports. When I asked what was needed so that I can obtain copies of said medical reports from my doctors, the "medical advisor"/chat agent was unwilling or unable to answer and told me there is nothing they can do for me without the reports, yet would not tell me what reports I need to get.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry the communication with our medical advisor didn’t meet your expectations. That’s not the level of clarity we aim to provide.

To ensure every treatment plan is genuinely safe and personalized, our doctors must review each patient’s medical history in detail before discussing options. Usually, this includes recent MRI or CT results, diagnosis confirmation, and any relevant specialist notes, but we completely understand that this should have been clearly explained to you.

We reviewed this case with our team to make sure all future patients receive clearer guidance about what documents are required.

If you’d like, we’d be happy to reconnect you directly with a senior medical coordinator who can walk you through exactly what’s needed. You can reach us anytime at info@swissmedica21.com

Malpractice and threats

The review below is written by my wife Trine Lise B.:
For 12 years I have had serious back problems. In 2019 I received treatment from Swiss Medica at their IM Clinic in Belgrade, and got better. In March 2020 I was doing very well, but went back to the clinic for what was meant to be the last treatment to really get me on my feet. I should never have done that. After 12 years of problems, my back was really sensitive and I had to be very careful with my movements and what exercises I was doing. I always had the feeling that staff in the physiotherapy department did not respect my sensitivity, and looked at me as a difficult patient. One day when I had finished my normal treatment, suddenly 3 physiotherapists and a doctor stood around me, wanting me to do exercises. When I said that doing so would have serious consequences, they physically pushed my legs and arms to make me do what they wanted. The result was that my body was so traumatized that they had to prolong my stay with four days, and they put me in medical sleep because I could not rest. I have never recovered. After I came home, I have spent my life lying down. I get worse and worse, and as of today I am not able to leave the house, I have to have help with everything, even eating has to be done lying down. My life is in ruins.
The IM Clinic offered me new treatment, but as I am not able to leave the house at all, it is impossible to travel. Apart from that, they take no responsibility for what happened. It is important to know that when you sign a paper stating that they give no guarantee that the treatment works, to them it also means that they have no responsibility if they perform malpractice, damage your health and by that ruin your life.
In my case they say that they have made an internal investigation, and that their treatment of me is within their normal procedures. When I said that I would put a review on the net, they threatened me with economic repercussions through their lawyer.
Of my 3 visits to the clinic, 2 have resulted in prolonged stays due the poor quality of the treatment. First time I got a serious infection and had to stay a whole extra week to recover. The last time after their enforced physiotherapy exercises I had to stay 4 extra days before being able to travel back home.
Be ware that no guarantees for improvement also means no guarantees for not worsening your situation.
