Unprofessional, unlawful breach of contract, and severe data breaches. Avoid!
I am writing this on behalf of a collective group of workers deployed through Starting Point Recruitment. This agency has failed to pay workers their legitimate, authorized wages for three weeks. Despite the hours being fully verified and signed off by the client company, the agency has made constant excuses and completely ignored communications from staff.
Worse yet, the agency committed a massive data breach by contacting workers' personal banks and falsely claiming that payments were made in error. This malicious and incorrect information has resulted in innocent workers having their bank accounts frozen or permanently closed, causing severe financial distress.
We have full evidence of all completed hours, total backing from the client company, and are now collectively launching formal legal proceedings through the Employment Tribunal and reporting this agency to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for unlawful data sharing.
Avoid this agency at all costs—they do not respect UK employment law, they do not pay their staff, and their illegal actions can ruin your financial livelihood.
