The hearing aids themselves are adequate but the documentation of features is woefully non-existent. Every little question requires you to contact the audiologist. Also, the AI noise cancellation as demonstrated in their online examples is simply fiction - they do not not work that well.

With both hearing aids in and I speak it sounds like I am in a barrel or I have water in my ears. When I am chewing something (like potato chips or carrots or anything as far as that goes I can’t understand the person beside me) . To me it is like chewing ice cubes.I have had experience ever since acquiring them.

The gentleman that handled my new hearing aids was quite polite and knowledgeable about the product. He explained how to use them simply and easily.

I'm so glad I found All American Hearing! After 6 ys. of dissatisfaction with trying out hearing aids, I recently had to get back in the game and find the right hearing aids for me (my Husband was sick of my constantly asking, "What did you say?"). After researching, I found All American Hearing located at 10001 SE Sunnyside Rd. in Clackamas. "Casey," a Hearing Instrument Specialist there, is wonderful. She really takes the time to listen and discuss all options with me. After much testing, I received my new hearing aids and was pretty happy.
Unfortunately, after doing extreme gardening for many hours in the heat during the last days of summer 2025, one of my hearing aids began falling out. I was able to get in fairly soon to All American Hearing. Since Casey is very knowledgeable in the hearing aid industry as she has been in it for awhile now, she knew my insurance coverage probably covered a "molded" pair of hearing aids. After she checked to be sure and found they were covered, she made molds of both my eardrums and ordered me a pair. While that pair fit like a glove, I actually ended up going with the first pair I tried but with a slightly larger end piece that fit better in my ear canal.
With all that I have put Casey and Sarah (front office) through in "finding the right fit," they both have continued to treat me with a ton of patience and respect as, like I stated above, I've had to make a couple of unexpected appointments (and got lost twice). Regarding Sarah in particular, she always returns my call when I've had to leave a voicemail. She is friendly, sharp, and goes out of her way to be as helpful as possible.
I would recommend All American Hearing to any of my friends and relatives. They care about professionalism. I'm one happy customer.

Too expensive.
Waterproof, I thought would apply to water aerobics where splashing is possible but no dunking or underwater time. But not recommended by seller.

I've used hearing aids for years and this is the first time for Starkey. The hearing is good, similar to other brands and better after adjustments with my audiologist. I am very disappointed with the health features which I use to monitor health issues. The measurement for steps, standing and exercise are wildly inaccurate. So much so that I have to totally disregard them - such a loss for a quality hearing aid. In conversations with the tech team, they admit that the measures are off and have no suggestions for correcting them. I'm disappointed and wishing I had my old hearing aids.

The volume and program settings are backwards for me. I would like to get the next program with 1 push and volume with 2. I have more use for changing programs than volume. I also have trouble using the "double tap" feature and have no idea how to reverse it fi I do it accidentally.

I really like them, they are better than the previous version I had. I actually gave up on them about 1 year ago. In Fairness though, it turned out that’s big part of my problem was fluid behind my right ear and a needed drain installed.
The issue I am having now is in that ear is noise like a bird chirping and having to turn them down to low. I will address that in my upcoming checkup.

I am able to select the volume I need which helps me a lot. It did take me some time to get used to putting them in but I have since mastered it. I would recommend them.

Flimsy sound tubes will not support aids. Also ,shape of the aids does not fit the back of my ears as well as my old Starkeys. Feed back is very annoying when i get close to someone or something.

I dealt with the Starkey hearing aid dealer in soldotna Alaska. They were very helpful and nice during my first visit however after I had made the purchase they were rude and inconsiderate of me.
Lilly at the Kenai has been very helpful and caring and considerate. I have recommended her to my friends and I will continue to do so.
