I have called 4 separate times now, been put on music wait for 15 minutes and than get the same message to leave a phone number and message and they will get back to me. Hire some phone help! Answer the customer issues ! late shipment, dead tree, and one from last year that did not come back.

We placed a $300+ order on feb 20th. Raspberry bushes, 75 strawberry plants and peach trees. It is now May 15th. You still havent shipped our order.
I've called customer service, multiple times, only to sit on hold for ten, twenty minutes, and then get sent to a voice mail. I never recieve a call back.
Instead of communicating with us, you sent an excuse laden email with a coupon code for 15% off our next order 🤣 We were loyal customers. We've ordered multiple times over the last 15 years. I can assure you that we will NEVER order from Stark Bro's Nurseries again after this experience.
You have now forced me to leave reviews, reflecting our horrible experience, in every place a review can be left. We wasted an entire growing season waiting on Stark Bros nursery to disappoint us with gross incompetence and nonexistent customer service!!!!!
Edit: I was finally able to speak to a real live person and get a refund. If you need to get ahold of someone at Stark Bro's Nurseries, call and act like youre intending to place an order. This is the only way you'll be able to speak to a human.

I have ordered from Stark two years in a row. Both times, promised trees by a certain date. They update the order information without informing customer of updates. Only find out when check the order wondering why it's not delivered. Two years in a row, shame on me for trusting them to deliver an order on time. Same thing this year, never again. Sent inquiry asking why they couldn't inform me of the update, asked for information and if can't be on time, cancel order. They cancelled it without any explanation. Never ordering from this company again. Waste of my time.

I ordered 2 fruit trees in march that were supposed to be here in april, then first of may then mid may now end of may still nothing.tried calling just music. I ordered from stark years ago and had great results this is horrible never again will I waste my time on ordering from them. horrible customer service.

I am a first time customer and placed an order March 1 (#2915690) for several bareroot fruit trees with an original est ship date of March 23. Since then, my order has been delayed TWO MONTHS with only one notification email of the first delay back in mid March.
While I understand delays, I also trust a 'reputable' nursery to ship bareroot trees within their optimal dormancy period - planting time matters! I have waited as long as I can, but with yet another 2 week delay that means I won't get my trees on time to do our group planting project we had planned. So a major disappointment across the board.
Imagine my surprise when I follow email instructions to create an account so I can manage my order - and my ordered didn't even show up! Without any way to manage/cancel my order, my only option is to get in touch with their [overwhelmingly busy right now] customer service. I just want my money back so I can order trees from an online nursery that actually fulfills their orders on time (like Raintree who I already received my specialty varieties from on time.)
What bothers me most is that while our orders are delayed for months, I still see Stark facebook ads for tree sales - they seem to have no problem SELLING trees while they struggle to fulfill their existing orders. As a business owner myself, that just kinda rubs me the wrong way - take care of the customers that have already spent their money with you and trusted you to get their order in a reasonable timeframe first.

I made two orders (#2922616 and 2924947) in early March with an ETA of week of March 23th which was changed to 3/30 and 4/6. It was for 19 trees and totaled $1,135.56. Didn’t receive the trees and in the middle of April the website said they would ship end of April. Didn’t ship. Now says end of May. I sent an email because you can’t call them and they said I would receive an answer in 1-2 business days. Now it has been a full week later and still nothing. The dormancy season is over and I have spent money for this year and will not have any growth. These orders for were for my 5 married children so they could start getting their own or hardship established. The lack of communication is appalling and disappointing.
They have my email and have not tried to communicate when I used their method of contacting them. What am I to do and what will the response from them be?

Amazingly, Stark Bro’s responded to TrustPilot, but to date has not responded to me individually. I have continued to reach out through their email which is the only way I can contact them. I have given them my phone number but they do not call. How can I communicate that their discount which is less than 10% of the purchase price is not changing my mind that I need a full refund with damages which they can decide is right. They have taken a year of growth from the trees I purchased in March and have had my money for over 2 months.
Sorry, but the lack of communication is appalling.
By the way, a company can’t use having too many orders as an excuse for not delivering when the daily send 1-3 emails advertising sales and encouraging patrons to buy more.
Stark Bro’s, as soon as you personally call me and make these orders right or I’m given a full refund with damages, I will change my review. Trying to mislead others with your patronizing responses on TrustPilot is not a way to conduct business.

I see a lot of reviews complaining about not getting their plants for nearly 2 months. Well, I’m at the 2 month mark now. I ordered my plants March 9th. It said they’d ship. They were supposed to ship it March 23rd. I specifically cancelled one item from another nursery because they were out of stock of the one I wanted. Then the shipping got changed to the week of March 30th, then April 6th, then April 13th, and then they stopped bothering to send emails and the date just changed constantly. I tried to call them as at 1.5+ months after ordering I would be gone when they were shipping. I only had the option to leave a voice mail. It changed afterward, but I never mentioned the dates I’d be gone. It keeps changing. Now it’s an estimate of June 1st!!!!!! It was May 25st yesterday. May 18th before I left on vacation. These are dormant Apple trees. I’d cancel if I didn’t need a second Apple for pollination. This is unacceptable. I get that it is an estimate, but 3 months later and maybe you get a dormant Apple to plant in summer? This is unacceptable. No communication anymore. To make it worse they keep having more and more sales. Get your existing customers sorted out please before your sales and quit emailing me about them. I have a second order I’m worried about too.

Don’t buy anything from Stark Brothers! I ordered some branch spreaders over two months ago and have had to pester repeatedly to find out what happened to my order. Stark Brothers has responded with multiple delivery dates and repeatedly missed them for over two months on items they said would be delivered in one week from order. They don’t answer their phone and give no real response to my inquiries. I believe they are a scam business and warn anyone to never buy anything from them!

so disappointed. ordered strawberry roots from them for this spring. Almost 2 months late now, and notifications of delays have bedn infrequent and communication overall terrible. i should have canceled when there was still time to order elsewhere and plant.

Don't order anything from stark bros this company is not legit. I ordered a blueberry plant and strawberry plants stark bros keeps pushing back when I am suppose to get my plants so I reported stark bros for a fraudulent theft charge and it is undergoing investigation and they will be refunding my money

Order#s: 2967597 & 2982669. I would like my money back immediately. The “updated” ETA says arriving in the week of 4/27. Today is 4/30 and no shipment notice. How are they gonna arrive this week if they are not even shipped yet. Such a scammy business. You failed miserably.
I’ve placed orders for a total of 4 fruit trees on 4/6 and 4/18 BASED ON ETA PROVIDED on product page. They keep on changing ETA, and now that trees are coming out of dormancy, my planting season is over. I have not placed my order if I knew their ETA was not kept. To make things worse, one of the trees I ordered went to “TBD” status, meaning what? I guess I will not be planting trees this year. They should have known about the shipment issue when they took my order, because it seems like this has been going for quite a while. That’s just unfair and dishonest. When I ordered a few trees a few years ago, they were shipped and delivered promptly, everything went perfect except that one tree never leafed out. Such a disappointment this year. I will buy from other nurseries next year. At least, they deliver trees on time for planting season.

Second order from this nursery, and it's going much like the first. Expect to wait a long time for your plants in shipping, like nine or ten days. They will most likely arrive completely dried out and dead, and Starkbros.com will only give you replacements worth half of what you spent.
I tried live chat to communicate with a person so we could resolve this issue but instead was directed to submit a "request", and they will "get back to me" in 24 hours via email.
My advice? Don't waste your time or money. Find another nursery.

Stark Brothers' customer service reached out to me and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. They are seriously trying to make it right. I am changing my rating from 1 to 5 stars. Well done, Stark Bothers, thanks!

Updating review - after escalating with their customer service team multiple times they just tell you what you want to hear but don't follow through. The first time I asked them to get my order shipped, they notified me on 4/5 that it would ship the week of 4/6. Never shipped. I escalated again and on 4/11 was told it would ship the week of 4/13 and still never shipped. Told on trustpilot response they'd refund shipping when shipping was never charged. I'd take honesty over lip service any day.
Order already running over 2 months late and they say they’ll give order updates but they don’t. The newest expected ship date for end of April is the week I told their escalation team I’m out of town. Can’t make up this type of incompetence

Bought loads of berry plants from them only for them to consistently push the delivery date back. One plant is now listed as TBD, when originally I was told May.
Canceled order after second week in a row where items were meant to arrive but nothing. Not even any feedback from them.

I ordered 3 fruit trees from Stark online (order #2915050). Original delivery week March 23. I received another email changing the delivery to the week of March 30. The delivery was never made. I checked online, the delivery was changed again to the week of April 21 (no notification was given). When I contacted this company by email, 2 days later they said they could not find my order. I replied confirming my order #, address & name. They responded that the order was under Doris & was delivered. The order was under my name & address, charged to my credit card....there is no Doris involved. The fruit trees were not delivered. Stark Bros is an incompetent company, that may be thieves. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE INCOMPETENT CROOKS!
