Appalling outfit

Appalling outfit. I bought a Ninja 15 air fryer 3+ years ago. It went kaput just on the two year point but I failed to notice that the motor was gone so the warranty period was over.
I contacted Ninja UK who explained that they can't/wont ship replacement parts to Ireland. Also that if I had bought it online from them directly they would give me an (unspecified) rebate on another item.
However, they created a file and ticket number for me to give to Stapletons, who should then contact Ninja to arrange a similar rebate.
I contacted Stapletons by email with this info in April 2025. I followed it with calls and emails 6 times over the next twelve months. On 3 occasions they promised to get back to me THAT afternoon (they didn't get back at all!).
Finally, today they tell me (my contact!) that the ticket has expired; Ninja have no record of case so there's nothing for me to do but suck on it.
All because they failed to follow up the information I emailed them in April 2025!
They are some mixture of the following: incompetent, totally untrustworthy, or liars.
I wouldn't buy a box of matches from them!

What a terrible company

What a terrible company, ordered a gas hob online and didn’t hear from them for weeks! When I eventually rang they basically just kept postponing a possible delivery date. This happened several times. The reality is, they never had the product in stock in the first place but refused to admit it!!
I eventually got a refund!
Very rude staff!
Avoid like the plague!

Do not buy

Do not buy, 10 days been waiting for delivery, they not even able to give any information about it. On day 11 they have called me and told that the product I ordered not in stock, offered me different model, delivered next day

Not a great experience

Not a great experience. Left with my old appliance (range cooker) despite checking prior to purchase that it would be removed. Emailed twice re removal, no response. Left message with receptionist for the person I was dealing with, no call back.

Good place to shop

Good place to shop - want’ed to replace an oven with the same one. This shop was only one that had stock. Lads in the shop we’re sound to deal with.

Pretty bad experience

Pretty bad experience. Ordered a Smeg Espresso coffee machine which stopped working a couple of weeks after purchasing it, sent two emails and eventually got a very rude man on the phone who repeatedly told me I would have to “get it back to us if it’s as faulty as you say”. Pretty desperate customer service. I would have expected the retailer to organise collection rather than the consumer trying to package something up and send it back to them, we live hours away. Also the man on the phone had incredibly poor etiquette and was genuinely quite unkind and rude.

A faulty Smartlid Ninja 15 in 1 promptly replaced

I bought a Smartlid Ninja 15 in 1 multicooker from Stapletons Electrical at an excellent price but it developed a problem within the warranty period and couldn't be used for pressure cooking. This is a key feature of a relatively expensive multicooker. After ringing Stapletons, a new replacement Ninja multicooker was delivered to me the following day. Excellent service and I highly recommend Stapletons Electrical for price and service!

Bought a Siemens Frige/Freezer online…

Bought a Siemens Frige/Freezer online from Stapleton’s Tuam. Got it a great price, good communication and swift delivery from this company. Item arrived and was disappointed to find a dinge on one side. Contacted the company who immediately offered to replace with a newer model . As it was approaching Christmas and deliveries might be delayed the manager offered a very generous discount if I wished to keep the original. Couldn’t be happier great company to deal with.

No reply to email or messages. Have to assume they have stopped trading

No reply to email or messages.
I ordered a Ninja part from this company with a heavy delivery charge and expected good service as they claimed to give.
Since then I have chased for delivery without any joy and now go no reply at all to web messaging and sales email.

My advice is to not use this company as something is wrong and I feel a long path to get my money back.

As of 30/06/2023, I can’t get any contact on FB, Twitter or email so I assume Stapleton's have stopped trading and I will have to resort to small claims to get my money back.

Excellent service

I have just received my replacement Ninja Creami, I was very happy with the swift and professional way my problem was dealt with.Very happy with the excellent service and would definitely recommend Stapletonselectrical.ie to family and friends

Poor sales & delivery service

I ordered a Siemens integrated fridge online, value €1100. A week after ordering I had no contact from Stapletons regarding delivery. I called them to be told their PRIVATE courier would make contact to arrange delivery. A few days later I received a phone call to say that they were at my front door trying to attempt delivery. My wife left her classroom to go home to accept delivery. As there was no prior arrangement for delivery made the old fridge was not ready for collection. However, the PRIVATE courier insisted that he would return the following day to remove the old fridge. They didn't return as promised. Despite numerous calls to Stapletons and the PRIVATE courier and promises made the old fridge wasn't collected. After 4 week I eventually paid somebody else to collect and dispose of the old fridge. The new product is perfect and at a good price. However, sales and delivery service are appalling.

Wanted to buy a A+++ Bosch dryer

Wanted to buy a A+++ Bosch dryer. It wasn't available in my area (County Waterford) anymore or much more expensive. I found it online with Stapleton's Expert Electrical stores in Tuam and they say nationwide delivery available, so I chose to buy it through them. I called them Saturday to inquire about how long the delivery might take, I was told 5 to 7 business days. So I went ahead... It was easy to place the order and I got the delivery already 2 business days after placing the order. Wow simply amazing. Thank you!
